Anybody's parents interested in sending a sprog or two to attend one of the better-known Corvie boarding schools? I'm figuring one that does a five-day-there, two-day-home rotation? I know for a fact that there are such schools, since Nat and I had a chance to talk about them at random due to a character that's not on the board.
I'm thinking that after his 'item exposure', Parzifal might send Teo to one at the boy's pleading. He's currently attending Corvie public school.
It'd be more fun to do this if he had at least one other character to play off of in the location. Otherwise I'll just have to play him "home" when I played him. xD
And yuss, this would be a school in Corvistowne.

Oooo if you think it would be fitting, Evaline would fit don't you think?

Indeed, she would be a prime candidate!

Actually, methinks Boston would to. I know Fin was pondering Corvistowne as a possibility... and Boston -wants- to go.... so XD
And, well, Malachite would be a package deal but not quite as willing, lol

*cracks metaphorical knuckles* Awwwwlrighty! I think I'm about ready to do something along these lines.
The scholastic organization is known as the Farlisle Institute, named for its founder, one Farlisle. I can only imagine what sort of fellow this must have been. I believe it serves the age ranges of roughly middle through high school, once they've already had a beginning elsewhere (either public or private). I'm seeing it in the southeastern corner of the realmnot too far from the giant curve in the map. Deep in Corvie country, which is probably why it's a boarding school.
Science classes range from biological to chemical to mechanical to medicinal in nature, and are probably heavily geared towards finding ways to apply specific interests to any and all of the fields. It also has other classes that you would expect - reading and writing, mathematics, geography, political sciences, etc. It's presumed that most attendees will be Corvies or mixes. Teo now looks like a mix thanks to his lovely magical mishap that has yet to be detailed (Gojirra's spine).
Hopefully I'll get to start a thread with this soon. >:3

Do the kids in question need to actually be Corvistownean, or is it just a regular boarding school centered there?
.... because I can see Vessatha getting ridiculously fed up with Riordan to the point where she sends him away <3

It's a very Corvie-centric cirriculum, so if kids aren't really interested in the sciences then they're probably going to be miserable. xD That being said, hey, she's the King of Spades. If she pushed, I'm sure she could get them in wherever she wants! He just might really hate it.
