'We'. Tabby loved it when people said 'we'. It made her feel so included! She grinned at Castiel and nodded happily. "Yeah, she is, but I never got to meet her. Mommy said she's really busy and doesn't know about me yet, but maybe she will someday, so that's something to be happy about! And look forward to."

She admired the fake weapons, especially the squeaky one. That looked fun. "Oh yeah, they've got tons of jewelry. None of it's the 'real stuff' but it's always so pretty! There's lots and lots. They keep it closer to the counter, over to the side with a few pieces of dress-up clothes. They don't have a lot of those because there's a clothes store nearby that sells costumes and stuff, but they both charge a lot for the stuff when you can just get plenty people throw away. Except lots of that has to be fixed. But anyway, follow me! The jewelry's really sparkly!" And she led the way through the store, clutching her little soldier tightly to her chest and laughing.

The girl's mission was almost complete. She had just one more thing to get and then she could pay for everything and potentially find her babysitter. Though at this point her babysitter was probably going to find her.

When they arrived at the costume jewelery she immediately spotted a cheap golden locket. It would look perfect against her sister's fur, it was cheap, and it wouldn't be hard for her to open. There were plenty of other things, but none of them really seemed to fit her sister. They were either too silly looking or didn't go well with dark purple and black. "All right! Time to pay for everything!" she announced as she juggled the toys in her hands and marched to the counter.

Thankfully there was no one there before her, so she could set everything down, and motion to Tabby's toy. "I'll be paying for all of this!"

Tabby 'oohed' admiringly at her new friend's choice of jewelry. The pretty golden bauble dangled appealingly from its chain and her fingers itched to reach out and touch it. Just because. But she had her soldier in her arms, and she wouldn't because it was going to be Castiel's for her family. And that would just be kind of rude. Mommy would probably say so.

She leaned closer to the human, her expression one of unmitigated delight. She felt like she should be glowing. If she had some sort of weird ablity, she would be glowing, except that she didn't and so she couldn't. Oh well.

Freeing up one arm, she reached out the other and hugged carefully around Castiel's shoulders. She smelled like fur, shampoo, and musty blankets. "I just have to say it again because I mean it. So here. Thank you so much for this. I swear I'll give her the best home ever. Mommy will make everybody else treat her really nice once I tell him there's somebody inside. Mommy knows about that kind of thing. But you really are amazing for doing this. I've always wanted a toy from this store. Forever."

Castiel blinked a few extra times in surprise when the girl started hugging her. Her nose wrinkled a bit at the smell of fur mixed with blankets and something perfumed. She gave the girl a squeeze in return. "You're welcome! Thank you for showing me around and everything. Sometimes people aren't very nice and just stare. So! You deserve this!"

She cheerfully looked to the man behind the counter who was ringing up the total. When everything was said and done she pulled the money out and offered it to him, she needed a bit of help counting the right amount out, of course. When everything was said and done she had a cute little bag with all her prizes, and Tabby had her special toy.

"I... suppose I should get going soon," she said as looked to Tabby with a slight frown. She had left the babysitter without a word. They were probably freaking out by now. "But! I should be back in two weeks from now! Want to meet here again?"

Mommy was going to be so proud of her when Tabby told him all about this. He was also right! Being nice and making people happy was one of the best feelings ever. And it got you stuff sometimes! Really good stuff!

"You're so nice, too. I wish you went to school here in the city. I go to one of the schools. Soon I'll go like a full-time student instead of the half-day beginning. You would make a great classmate."

Watching in admiration as Castiel pulled out her own money and really paid for things, she hugged her soldier tightly to her side. It was time for the other girl to go? Aww. She had to stay here until Mommy came back and then she would leave with him. When he was done dropping off things and running around for work.

"Oh... I can only come here when Mommy has to work here. I want to, though. I'll ask him if he can do any jobs here in two weeks! That's so far ahead, maybe he'll say yes."

Castiel pounced on her heals for a moment at the girl's response to her being a good classmate. It would have been nice to go to a real school rather than having a private tutor and stuff. Interacting with kids her age would have been fun, but Mommy and Daddy worried about her health. She was fine even if she got colds a lot of the time. "I think school would be more fun than a private tutor," she said with dismay.

Tabby's other comment made her stop for a moment and frown. Of course she only came here when her Mommy worked. Did she say that earlier? Maybe? Probably? Castiel ran her fingers through her hair for a moment as she tried to think of something proper to say. "Two weeks is the only time I can come back because Mommy and Dad promised they'd both come to the city with me. I hope you can meet me here..." She shrugged awkwardly before spreading her arms out and offering a good bye hug.

"A private tutor sounds boring," Tabby agreed dutifully, even if she wasn't sure what it was. Something besides school. And school was fun!

She sucked on the inside of one cheek unhappily as it became time to say goodbye. She'd known it was coming, but... she didn't want to... "I'll beg Mommy," she promised. "I won't just ask him." Then she lurched forward to fling her arms around her new human friend and squeeze! The soldier stuck awkwardly between them and she quickly shifted it, simultaneously loosening her grip. She didn't want to hurt anything.

After a second she reluctantly let go and swung back, one arm clutching her new toy and the other pulling at the fur on her leg. Her expression sat somewhere between happy and disappointed. Watching people leave was always awful, no matter who it was, unless you were leaving with them. "Bye, Castiel. I hope I get to see you soon. Even if I'm not here in two weeks."

Castiel looked briefly victorious at the mention of begging and not just asking. Not to mention she got a very nice hug out of this! The little human girl grinned a mile wide. Though she was sad about leaving, but they had a chance of seeing each other again. That was more than enough to keep her in high spirits. It took a lot to properly disappoint the young human.

"Bye for now! We'll see each other again! I know it!" She checked to see if she had everything before making her way out the door to find her babysitter. Hopefully the woman wouldn't be too furious that she had run off to buy things for her and her siblings.

She could tell Mommy and Daddy that she had made a friend. And that she wanted to come back to the toy store when she was in the city with them.

((I think a close for now would be a good idea. I'm still debating where Tabby's muse will go in the future and I think I'll want to play her a little older for any new threads. :3 They MUST meet again, though.))
