[FA] Thank you Kari, Nako, Xenon, and Sera

Although I do comment, I wanted to show my appreciation to the artists who dedicated their time, effort, and talent to draw my characters more than words could ever say. So, I started drawing myself, taking one of my favourite SD that each Dealer owns and sketching the individual in either animal, biped or human form. Here is the first batch of sketches. Just keep in mind that I'm not Nathalia or Kari or Xenon or Nako or any of the other great artists on SoD... this is only what I can do. I hope all of you like them.


What? Did anyone actually think that I wouldn't draw one of my own SD? Besides, Beowulf threatened me at sword point to draw him first. ;>.> How could I refuse? Thus we begin with Beowulf vilipending the Lowlanders in the most conceivably coolest manner- dancing like one of the zombies from Michael Jackson's "Thriller" music video. As grotesque as they look you got to admit, them zombies sure can dance! XD

Sera, Raphael is unsure whether he should feel flattered or offended by this highly inaccurate, yet admittedly cool portrayal by the infidel, so he requests an official decision from Zeus on the matter.


This is probably about as statuesque as Peaches is ever going to be.

For anyone who's curious to know, the four symbols floating around Zuberi are veve. They are religious symbols commonly used in Voodoo to represent the various loa aka spirits during rituals, drawn on the floor by sprinkling a powdery substance like cornmeal. Every loa has his or her own unique veve, however regional differences have led to different versions of veves for the same loa in some cases. These are the voodoo priestess's "friends."


Apocalypse came to chew gum and kick ass, and he's out of gum.


Drostan watched Dre go flying by, though of course not literally this time. His steps slowed until he stopped to watch her dance among the flowers. She danced as they did in the Highlands, high steps with leaps and bounds. Swift footwork, straight and proud.

.. Wow, Yuiven. Wow. I really like your work! I can really see the motion in the clothing and in the movement, it's really cool.

Not to mention anything involving Thriller is just kick-ass. XD

You should do fanart more often. X3 All of these are lovely. I admire your ability to draw biped forms--Beowulf's thriller dance is hilarious, and his feet are particularly awesome--go claws! I like Peaches's expression. XD It's nice and smug, and the fan adds that little bit of coyness that makes it all perfect. LOVE Zuberi. You put a lot of detail into that, especially the veve. Though strangely I think my favorite part might be the little doll. Pale looks like a terrifying death-warrior. Nice work with the fur and the musculature. Dre! Dre in dance-mode is delightful win; I like the flow of the dress, and how perfectly at ease she looks in the pose.

In short: quite a lot of wonderful! <3

I -- wow. How did I not know you could draw like this? I'm delighted and keep going back for another look at it all, your style is just amazing! The attention to detail, as mentioned by the others, is just delightful, as is the movement you capture in hair and clothing.

Beo is fantastic. XD The angle of his wings is great, it really matches up well with the rest of the movement of his pose. As mentioned, you did an awesome job of Peaches's face - the angle of it is almost peaceful at first glance, but the more you look at her, the more you see that little smirk that is so Peaches. Oddly, I have to say I'm especially fond of the way her jacket is covering her hands. It's just a nice and delicate little touch. Zuberi looks ever the part of the voodoo queen, and I'm sure it thrills her. Her hair in particularly delights me.

...oh wow, Pale. You really are out to kick ass, aren't you? I really must say, I feel sorry for whoever he's going after - such rage in his face, and you can see the preparation to swing his weapon. @_@ (Who - I need to say - looks incredible. Oh, Rhibi. <3) I'm particularly fond of his hands, they just look good. Maaaaan. <3 You make my boy so happy, even if he's feeling a bit like he's taking after one of his summons. >3

Last but not least, Dre is gorgeous. I love how you've managed her face, the motion of her hair, and her /arms/. Lovely, beautiful arms! And more hand-love!!

Oh, Yui, I do hope you decide to bless us with more of your art someday. <3 It's really made me happy!

Yuiven I can't help but wonder if you're superman. Because I swear you're just good at... everything. I'm really just a particular shade of speechless at what you're capable of doing and man... I just never ever know how to express my gratitude and awe. Really. I'm sitting here with Vyn going ".... ," and she's just as speechless.

That said... I'm at a real loss for words. I really enjoy all of these like... wow. And the fact that you drew Peaches blows me away on so many levels. I absolutely love the way you drew her and the pose and the... the statue. I just.... eeeeee. *takes a deep breath* All of these works just have a wonderful air to them, the attention to detail is lovely and I love Beowulf. I don't have enough words to express anything properly, but these are all great.

Wow. Yuiven. Wow. So many times you've blown me away, just... blown me away. Your writing has always astounded me, the attention and thought you put into everything from just commenting on something to writing posts. And now I find that your art is of the same amazing caliber as everything else.

The structure, the anatomy, the movement, the details. I am speechlessly impressed.

If it was not so late at night I would talk about each of these individually, because you obviously put a lot of time and effort and detail into each one, but these are seriously just....AMAZING. *_* Don't downplay your ability, you are an AMAZING artist! D: And I would love to see more art from you! The feathery wings look spectacular but I am a total sucker for feathery wings. <3

And Peaches is so much love. I love that you got her fans and her smirk and just...yeah. They're all wonderful.
