Are you allergic to anything in particular or are you an unfortunate soul (like one of my parents) who is allergic to everything from dust, to strongly scented perfumes/deodorants/lotions, to pollen, to pet dander and other things? I only ask because you're specific strain(s?) seem to put you through a loop! I sincerely hope you feel better soon and am sorry your poor face is le swollen. *hugs*

Harps: Yeah... I've heard it should be done with organic food. @_@ Unfortunately it's ridiculously over priced in the various grocery stores around here so I've never had a chance to do it with completely organic food.

Callypso: I am allergic to shrimp, crab, whole milk products to a degree, pollen, pine trees, oil paint, and my hypersensitive skin reactions can be triggered by stress and drastic temperature changes.

I can actually rub a cat/dog/fuzzy animal in my face and have no reaction. XD so that's one thing I'm thankfully not allergic to. Along with a long list of things people normally are allergic to.

Organic is soooo overpriced, and hard to come by around here, too. I think it has been coming down in price recently, but I still I can't really justify the bigger grocery bills even though I do think it would be healthier with all the produce I eat these days.

It's good that at least you can have fuzzy pets. I have a mild allergy to all things furry and cute, but I have kitties anyway! Y hello thar, mystery rash.... Haha.

I'm also allergic to paint, including oil paint and the latex interior house paint.

Main symptom when I'm exposed to it? Sudden and severe mood swings with irrational agression and/or depression. It's not a pretty picture...

Needless to say, if they have to do painting in my office building I take a personal day....

I recently found out that I'm allergic to two things most people are NOT allergic to:

Paper tape and Gauze. o.O;; I pray to the Gods that I never get horrible burns that require my entire body to be covered in either.

So.... You're allergic to cotton in general, or just when it's in the form of gauze?
That is a little strange.

I think tape, or at least the sticky stuff on the tape, is a little more common to be allergic to. I also hope you are never horribly burned... and not just because of the gauze thing. XD

Lol, just the gauze. After I had to wear some on my side when I had MRSA I developed an itchy rash in the shape of the rectangle.

And I'm not allergic to regular tape. Paper tape is what people use when they're allergic to regular tape. I'm allergic to PAPER tape. It's so effed up. XD

I'm allergic to two things that only a small percent of people are ever allergic to. It would explain why having gauze in my mouth after I had my teeth pulled didn't clot the blood.

Hey guys. My allergies are cleared up, so of course I've caught a winter cold! As I type this it feels like my brain is trying to escape through my nose. Good times.

Hopefully it will clear up properly in a few days, however I probably won't be able to reply to things properly for a wee bit. I will, of course, be a good girl and try my hardest to make ticket replies. <3
