So I guess this is for Nat and/or Jenn. It didn't seem to fit into the questions forum and yeah. Sorry if this is still not the right place!
Here goes.
Am I allowed to make my own contest/game/thing for anyone who feels like it to join in?
I want to give some bad!art and maybe some of my SD's points or items to people who partciapte in certain plot threads with my cards, and encourage other people to not only get such prizes from me but to also offer prizes for other people to have plot threads with them.
So like a huge but simple game where everyone can be in it and/or run their own game!
Also it would be good to know if anyone is interested in actually doing something like this. There will be free stuff... <3 What do you guys think?

I find it really fun to hold ones own contest type things, but I think the general rule of thumb may be that it's good to let Nat know and tell her what you have in mind, so she can tell you if anything it out of bounds or something like that. She'll have to respond herself on the particular idea you have XD Though I have to say that you don't have to bribe me with points to plot with you <3 My only reason for not posting as of late is I started school again.

Haha, you know I always love plotting with you...or with anyone, for that matter! ;P
I could also contribute points as...Colin has far, far too many of them, lol. XD;;

I think judging by my number of dead threads that I maybe do need to bribe people. Lol.
Actually the 'bribing' is just for fun and so people can get art from me if for some reason they want really crappy computer-colored scribbles. XD

Ah, I feel I owe an apology here. I haven't really posted a hiatus notice because I didn't expect to be away so long. I've been super busy the last week or two and just haven't had the energy to RP. I promise I'll reply to our Iso/Joel thread either tonight or tomorrow. I've been drained and there's been nothing left for my muses to play with. My bad!

Oh goodness. That's perfectly understandable and I'm not at all upset about it. I hope you will be able to have a little more downtime for fun stuff like rp soon, but if you don't right now don't worry on my account. This is just for fun, not as a way to make people feel stressed about replies. Dead threads happen... I just want to get a couple live ones.

I would certainly be interested in this...free stuff. XD Fun is fun, in whatever shape or form it takes. Contests can most certainly be fun.

Dead threads can often be dead for many reasons. I find that in some rps I can keep them going for what seems like forever. For others... I sometimes lose my muse after only two or three posts. Whenever I start having issues with plenty of dead posts, I'll sometimes reevaluate what I'm looking for in a rp. Sometimes it's good to just let it die, or do a time skip with a completely new situation to see if the juices get flowing. Often I need to give a more dramatic scenery or situation to get myself motivated. So, personally I probably won't want to join a rp just because I'm bribed with an item. Perhaps though, if the contest is an rp based scavenger hunt/in game contest my character is participating in for an item (let us say, an in game contest of talent.. horseshoes... cooking contest, lol!) then that would feel better to my conscience. Edit::: Getting the newer people started with some items and rp seems a good idea though. XD I can understand newbies being eager to rp (and get a few free items! Teehee) I guess what I was alluding to is.. myself as an established player I don't feel all that... eager to rp for bribes. e_e But if I were a new player.. I would. But since I'm not a new player I'd feel bad for it. You get what I mean? Crap. Um. I'm just trying not to offend anyone XDD

Dude.... you're the one that said bribes.... I would like to think I don't have to bribe anyone just to get them to plot with me.
If you don't want to participate then don't, I guess. We can still have regular threads, or you can just give the prize to someone else if you happen to be the one who wins. It didn't seem like a game or contest with no prizes would be very appealing to people, or particularly different from not having a contest at all. lol.
Also I obviously have only like 5 items to my name total, and one has been used already, so it's not exactly a situation where i'm giving an item to everyone just for deigning to rp with me. I just thought you guys would find it fun to have a chance at getting art or items in a game.
Maybe I'll try to figure out a way to set it up where I won't give out any art/points/whatever, since that seems to work against people wanting to be involved, which was the opposite of the intention.

Well. Obviously what I said -was- taken as an insult. Damn.
Forget I said anything.
Edit: Actually. Yes. I said bribe because it sounded like a bribe. And it makes me feel extremely awkward when I'd be willing to rp with you for free that you feel a need to pay people with things to get them to rp with you. Which is what it sounds like. Which puts me, who is in a rp with you, and possibly other people who are rping with you in an awkward position. Because I myself find myself wonder 'oh gosh, what is it? Is she feeling like we won't rp with me otherwise? Is this a way of saying that people aren't rping with her enough?
If that is actually how you feel, then I apologize that you feel that way.
