Everything was still so strange. She didn't have a Warren any longer, nor a true Jack, although she staunchly followed Sabe's every order as though he had that position over her. After all, she was a Leveret, and it was her place to serve and to let others make her decisions for her. It was her right and proper duty to be serving a Jack, a leader, whether that be a fellow Rabbit or...or a Card. Running away had crossed her mind before, of course...back when she still lived in her Father's Warren. Especially after her meeting with the feathered Card who helped her, and who advised her to go to the rogue Leverets. In the end...in the end Mythiril just couldn't do it. She'd bled herself for an hour for even thinking about it. But then...Sabe had offered her a new kind of freedom. He insisted she go out and do her own thing. "Whatever she wanted." He had no idea the things she'd wanted, longed, -dreamed- of...but they were not for her. Never for her. Not her place. She didn't even have her day dreams any more. Being alone was torture. The wailing and the weeping of the restless spirit that seemed to have attached itself to her would never cease when she was by herself. Mostly, she dealt with it as best as she could. But there were some days when it all became too much. These days, she'd escape to the Capital City, to be happily engulfed in the noise and company. That was what today was. She'd gotten a better disguise, now, one that didn't look as suspicious as her old cloak. A sort of bonnet to hide her long ears and a long skirt to hide her large feet and fluffy tail. She kept tripping over it, but she wasn't in a hurry anyway. ((ooc: sorry for the title change. I just realized I'd misquoted the line of the song and it was bothering me.))

The feline-looking mouse almost tripped over a small Mid-Range vermin. "Pardon", she apologized to the young Card prettily, frowning down at the ordinary bonnet and too long skirt. The poor dear. She needed somebody much more competent to dress her. Souris played briefly with the idea of taking the Mid-Ranger to her couturier. Those grays off-set by the pale pink stains and blue eyes could be heightened to attractiveness easily. Mana stopped, awkwardly, as two Cards completely obstructed her way. The Midori kiwi attempted to circle around the other two quietly. She didn't really want to interrupt. The Yarrow mouse mix and the Mid-Range Pika might not appreciate her presence. Unfortunately, the brilliant pink and green caught the feline-looking mouse's attention. She cringed, as the Gardens girl turned her close scrutiny upon the exposed avian. Frozen, the kiwi could only do a laudable imitation of a deer in the headlights.

Mythiril, as a Leveret, was indeed fairly small compared to most of the larger Cards around. But she was still fairly used to others noticing her and getting out of the way. So it was quite a surprise to her when a very pretty yellow and purple Card nearly bowled her over, despite being part Mouse and therefore smaller than some of the others out on the streets.
Myth let out a startled squeak and seemed to pull back, a bit, but then she bowed slightly. "Ah, no, it wasn't your fault, Ma'am. Please allow me to apologize," she stammered. Even after all this time, it was still so strange to be talking to a Card. It made her insides squirm a bit. Especially as she felt she was being closely examined, and for a moment, she was fearful her disguise might not hold up. Usually she was so generally ignored (and most Cards only saw what they wanted to, and most of them DIDN'T want to see a Rabbit) that as long as her most incriminating features were covered, she was fine.
To hopefully distract the Yarrow, Myth hurried on. "It's lovely to meet you. I'm Mythiril." Again, it felt strange to be so bold as to introduce herself to a stranger...and at that point she noticed that the one she was addressing was already distracted by something else. Turning, she saw a very brightly-colored, very odd-looking bird, and curious blue eyes blinked. She'd never seen a bird like that before.
