Basic Magical Ability: She can ignore moderate amounts of pain for up to twenty minutes.
Moderate Magical Ability: When activated, she gains an immediate proficiency with any weapon that she picks up. This can be activated and deactivated at will.
Strong Magical Ability: When activated, she can inflict mental pain on a card of the suit of spades, once per day. The pain will be equivalent to that of the bones in their arm slowly being pulled sideways, as though they were being placed into a straitjacket, which would be highly uncomfortable. The sensation would then tighten progressively the longer she holds the spell.
Powerful Magical Ability: When activated, she can control the mind of a lesser Heart for up to twenty minutes, once per week. The individual being controlled would know and the degree of control is rather awful. The person she possesses will walk like a puppet with broken strings and she must accompany them within twenty feet or the spell will not work.
Jack's Magical Ability: Once per week she can climb up walls, even if the surfaces are completely smooth. This includes hanging from ceilings. When she does this, she does not cast a shadow.
Jack's Ability Boost: Once every other day, she is now also able to make certain that she moves over projections, beams, and obstacles, without issue. They will not trip her up, or even appear to phase her.
Amazing Ability: She is now able to change into a shadow once per week. She quite literally becomes a dark shadow of little to no substance. She weighs nothing and her clothing and bindings fall off of her and into a pile when she changes.
She can either replace another persons' shadow and follow along as theirs (though they may notice that it's shaped like her), stand in another shadow, or just hover around the ceiling, under a door crack, wherever. After three hours, the effect will wear off and she will change back at once, leaving her to search for her clothes and bindings once more.
The only drawback is that if someone says her name, the spell will be broken at once and she will become corporeal again.
Odd though...wile she is a shadow, other shadows feel more real...she might even be able to talk to one or two...
Shadow Boost: Though her clothing will still leave her when she changes, her binding will now go with her. She is also now able to remain a shadow for up to six hours, though if she stays for more than six hours...she may end up being stuck...for an indefinite amount of time...
While being a shadow, she will now find herself able to talk to one other person's shadow a month. The shadow will has all of the memories of the person who casts it and has no inhibitions. It will tell her the absolute truth about whatever she wants to know and will hold nothing back. No one can hear the shadows speaking but her, but she can only speak to them for ten minutes before the shadow will start to fade from exhaustion...
If she pushes a shadow too far however, the person who owns it will begin to feel horrible pain and as the pain increases, they may be able to see her. If a person catches sight of her, then she may never speak to their shadow again.
Amazing Power: She is now able to use her shadow ability to slide herself into mirrors. She an follow people through their reflections and can sometimes see...the more sinister side of people in those reflections. She will not be visible to others while inside of the mirror unless she wants them to, if she does she simply says "Reflect", and she becomes visible...to all who can see the mirror, but moving to another one deactivates this spell.
She can do this once per week and it lasts for one hour...however if she does not remove herself from the mirror within that hour, she is trapped in the mirror plane until one full week has passed and she can activate the ability to get out once again.
While using this ability she can pass from mirror to the next closest mirror, enabling her to travel far and wide, though if there is no mirror, she cannot be there. She can hear and see everything around her within the mirror scope.
Warning: Seeing things in this mirror plane can be dangerous as they might be able to follow her out....
Mirror Boost: She is now able to, once a week, pull another person's reflection out onto the plane of existence with her. The reflection itself will only last for a full hour and will do anything she tells it to. It will resemble the actual person exactly, with the exception that it has none of their powers, magics, items, or real strength. During this time the actual person and this new one will be fully incapable of casting a reflection anywhere. They are fairly weak, but will imitate a personality perfectly should she want them to and say what she wishes them to say. They are afraid of her, and once an hour is up, she needs to return them to the mirror realm, or they will literally die. If she allows the reflection to die, something...off will happen to the actual person whose image was taken. PM the admin should this occur.
Stone Touch: She is now able to turn herself to stone once per month. When she activates this power she can either become a statue of herself or of something resembling her, (So she can become a statue of a Cat (not of her region), of a feline Torquehelm resident, or of a Human similar in appearance to her), or she can become part of the masonry itself.
If she chooses the latter option however, she would need to keep in mind that while most of her would blend with the wall, one part of her (be it hand, face, leg, hair...) will always remain sticking out in some small way, though it will be stone. If this is on the ceiling though it is probably moot point. She will remain stone for a full three hours and be unable to move until she regains her correct shape at the end of the spell's time slot. During this time though, she can see and hear normally.
Amorous Ability: Once a month, she is now able to cause up to two Cards of her choosing to suffer from an incredibly strong, and insatiable lust for another person that she picks out.
If she chooses only one person, they will immediately hone in on her, falling desperately and hopelessly in love/lust with her depending on the individual, for a full 30 minutes. During this time, the individual will do almost anything, short of hurting someone they normally wouldn't, or themselves. They will spend copious amounts of money on her, or take her anywhere, or front her. the only hitch is that instantly after the spell takes effect, they are in need of copulation, they will have to have her, or risk harming themselves trying to get to her.
The only other option for this spell is to choose two people and cast it on them. They will try to find a place to be alone as fast as humanly possible and more than likely spend the hour fornicating. If 150 points are spent (by either the caster or the recipients), then there is a 50% chance of children resulting in one of the poor victims chosen, also randomly rolled.
Using this ability on herself (or on only one person, thereby affecting herself) will cause her to fall in a semi-form of lust with the other person as well for the duration of the spell.
Lol Cat-speak: Once a week, she is able to cause up to three people within 50 feet of her to be reduced to speaking in a form of demented language referred to as "Lol-cat" for up to 5 hours.
Once the spell has gripped them, they will become far happier than they were a few seconds ago, if they are ranked 9 or lower, they may forget about any insults, fights, or disagreements entirely.
Along with the burgeoning happiness, the affected creature will now only be able to speak in simplified, idiotic, "cutesy" language, as demonstrated below:
An attacker may have meant to say: "Fool, I will destroy you! Spell to weaken!"
What they will actually say, however: "Lam3z! Leik you 2 bangup/smashupp? Gud, you goes bai nao. <3 Spellzor to startz!"
This spell renders ANY AND ALL spells that require spoken word to be rendered completely ineffective, they may even rebound on the caster if they are attempted.
This spell causes any Diamond hearing it to fly into a rage upon being treated to such drivel, they will attempt to harm the speaker, though only while they talk, even if they are on the same side, a mated pair, or siblings.
Shell Powder: This powder was made from Serafino’s eggshell. Lin gave it to Bernard as a good luck charm...and he worked for three years to turn it into a real one. Once a month, this powder can cast a shield that will ward off all 2-7 based spells from Clubs, Spades, and Diamonds.
Black Powder: This SD is now able to, once a day, take on the form of a tiny, inconspicuous looking black terrier. This form will only come up to the knee of the general populous and has a genial, friendly look. This spell will last for two hours once in effect and the SD will not be able to turn back until after the time limit has passed. In this form, they cannot use any of their other powers or speak, but they can listen, smell better, and follow people unnoticed.
Jack: Most Jacks are content to be Jacks; they get a good amount of power with little to no responsibility along with it. They are generally required in Court to deliver important messages and to carry out easy tasks that the higher-ups don't want to bother with. The work is easy, the living is good, and the responsibilities can be foisted on the Tens below them. Some Jacks, however, especially traditionalists, refuse to remain in the rank because of the title. The title, "Jack", is also shared by one of the Other Courts, the Jack's Court, of rabbits. Some Jacks find that sharing this title with rabbits is demeaning and will move up to King as soon as possible to avoid association with the stigma.
Torquehelm: Residents are usually black with purple highlights and/or socks, white wing-like markings on their backs, and purple eyes.
Torquehelm is a rather dark place. Due to it's placement near the Tulgey Wood, there isn't much sunlight or moonlight. An odd aura surrounds the place, and many feel a sense of depression upon entering. The members of Torquehelm are known for their odd habit of binding. They are said to do so because they hope it will lift the curse upon their land. Each resident of the realm is bound in some way, shape, or form, the most popular being chains or blindfolds. They tend to be intelligent and quick, but difficult to deal with because of the downtrodden mood, though they are still widely accepted in Courts and are sometimes made confidants of those in power. The land of Torquehelm does not produce much in the way of items to trade, though there are rich deposits of precious metals and iron
Felines: Felines are a common breed. They are found everywhere you look and their lifestyles make it easy for them to stretch themselves to the furthest reaches of the kingdoms. Not to be confused with the Court of Cats (who are the size of a house cat), the Felines of the realm are about the size of tigers and range from sleek Siamese to bulky alley cats in shape.
Heart: The Claw
Hearts are a bit rarer in society, and are also the most revered. For parents to receive a Heart as a child is a blessing and a delight, as the child will probably bring them power that they do not have. The ferocity and short temper of the Suit is legendary, but not necessarily true for all in the Suit. Hearts have a tendency towards recklessness and wildness in their actions, though their ability to muster power at the snap of their fingers is most assuredly true and remarkable. It serves them well as the most feared and respected of the Suits.
The symbol of the Hearts, the Claw, is most fitting, as there is nothing more brutal than to be hit in the face with something sharp; be it their wit, their magic, or their fist, the experience won't be pleasant. Hearts tend to delight in the fact that they are represented as ruthless and unkind. Some of them feel that power cannot truly be gained with kindness, though others resent the fact that their friendships are all superficial and that their lovers are all two-faced. They may attempt to make themselves seem different.
