They had nothing to lose? Arkady wasn't quite sure why Castiel had said that, but it felt rather ominous to him. They had quite a bit to lose, especially if their parents heard about this. He couldn't imagine his mom, or Cas's, being very happy with them going clubbing. But then again...at least they'd be together? He took up his space in the middle, trying hard to keep his footsteps on the stairs evenly paced. He glanced back, once, and saw Conall was following, like he'd known the other boy would. He didn't look too happy about it, but at least he was there. And really, it might save them a bit of trouble. Who was going to mess with a kid with schythes on his back?
Arkady looked around, back and forth, as they got outside, and then took up a position next to Castiel and a bit in front while they discussed the plan. Arkady frowned. "Well...no, I didn't see anything like that. Maybe we should...go the other direction?" He tilted his head, peering the way that he and Conall hadn't gone before. If he craned his head he thought he saw something...a sign. He pointed with a paw. "Is that...something?"

Castiel followed the boy's paw to the little sign in the distance. It read quite simply "Fate" is plain block letters. Huh. That could be a club. It could be just about anything with a name like that. "It looks like something, it does stand out..." she said as she began to walk in the direction.
Conall eyed the sign for a few minutes. That was an ominous name for anything. Was it really something they wanted to look at?
Of course it was when Castiel was concerned. A small part of him wanted to whine and throw another fit, but he knew that would get him nowhere. The girl and danger went hand in hand, and they would probably get in trouble somehow. At least following them he could try to do some damage control.
He hoped anyway.
As they drew closer a few people filtered out of the building, laughing and carrying on.

Arkady's tail began wagging as Castiel agreed it looked cool. They should certainly check it out! 'Fate'. It sounded like a place that anything could happen, and for once, Ark felt more curiosity than fear about that thought. Maybe his adventures today had helped him to be a bit braver? Or maybe it was the fact that he was with Castiel, and her excitement was always very catching.
Either way, the Coyote was actually not worried as he followed along behind the girl, tail wagging and nose sniffing curiously. As the door opened and Cards poured out of the building, looking as happy as Torques really ever did (normal Torques, not like Peaches and Xiven) Ark took in the scent of food and something warm and homely that he couldn't place, along with the unmistakable bite of alcohol. Well...that could be a club, right? But how would they tell for sure? He waited for Cas to take the lead. She'd be the most able to talk them into the place if someone gave them trouble, considering she was a Diamond and a Human and very pretty.

The man at the door looked terribly bored by his job. He was sitting on a high stool, playing with a piece of paper when Castiel approached him. He raised a furry eyebrow at the human girl. Rare, Brightly colored, and obviously on the younger scale. Did they honestly want to get into the bar?
"You're underage," he bluntly stated, eying all three of them. He couldn't tell the human's rank, but both boys were clearly high ranked. Wonderful. His measly little five didn't scream authority, but they were children. And that one was ugly as sin. Maybe he was a noble, he'd heard a few things about the court of Hearts producing freaks.
Castiel did her best to look adorable. That normally got things moving, along with a bit of diamond charm.... "We are, but we're also not from around here. So this is a one night thing and we'd never be back to bother you again. Plus... we've had a bit of a hard day and we're looking to spend a little cash."
Conall was always impressed by Castiel's ability to manipulate people when she wanted to. Then again he was subjected to that more than once, and it wasn't always fail proof. He waited patiently in the background, waiting to say something if it was needed.
The man paused for a moment to stare at the obviously privileged children. "Maybe for a little cash you'll all be eighteen. Even the scrawny one with knives." He outstretched a paw waiting for some form of payment.
Well. At least he was easy. Castiel refrained from sighing as she slipped a bit of gold in the man's hands.

Arkady froze, giving a sort of deer-in-the-headlights look when the door guard called them out on their obvious youth. He knew he should try to look impressive, but he suddenly felt very young and small, and he unconsciously hunched his shoulders a little bit, eyes going wide. He flashed the other two a desperate look, but Cas was already on it. And apparently the man was accepting bribes?
Arkady knew that he should feel bad, since what they were doing (and asking the man at the door to do) was clearly illegal, but instead his tail gave a hesitant wag as he watched Castiel push gold into the greedy man's hands. Closing his eyes, Arkady took a deep breath and gathered his courage. He couldn't go in there like a inexperienced pup, all unsure of himself and frightened. He needed to look the part of he'd be laughed back out, or else caught out by someone who wouldn't have such a fondness for gold. When his eyes opened again, he nodded to his companions. "Ready to go in?" he asked, pitching his voice deep. He held his head high and walked (a step behind Cas and a step ahead of Conall) like he belonged here. Even though he didn't, not at all.

Castiel raised an eyebrow at Arkady's voice. Ah well, it was kind of cute when he did that. "Off we go," she said with a chipper note. Taking the lead like she usually did.
The inside of the club was poorly lit. There seemed to be a good deal of smoke waffling through the entire club adding to the strange atmosphere. A good deal of people were chatting with drinks. A stage stood in the center of the club, though there was no one on it at the moment.
Conall wasn't quite sure what to think about the club. He stayed in the back, awkwardly following the pair of them. He had a clear look of discomfort on his face as he scanned the crowd. People. So many. They would make comments about his smell and how ugly he was and... suits this had been a stupid idea.
Castiel spotted a set of chairs that seemed to be free. "Let's go over there!"

Despite trying to exude confidence, Arkady felt his face heat up again at Cas's raised eyebrow. He probably sounded like an idiot, and he was glad once again for the darkness of his fur and the dimness of the entry into the club. He'd never been in a place like this, and his nerves sung with nervous tension as he walked in. There were a lot of other Cards in there, but somehow that actually relaxed the Coyote, a bit. Easier for them to lose themselves in the crowd this way.
Well...as long as Conall stayed out of sight. He wasn't quite what anyone would call inconspicuous with the scythes on his back and the bird on his shoulder. He nodded to Cas, having already decided that he should let her do the talking and stay silent as much as possible. He walked over to the chairs, darting a bit ahead of Cas at the last second to pull one out for her. It was only polite, after all, and he felt like in this of all places he had to not seem like an idiot in front of her.

Castiel gave Arkady a small curtsy when he pulled out her seat. That was terribly sweet of him. She took her seat carefully and took in the surroundings. It was surprising to see such melancholy people enjoy themselves. Then again most of them seemed to be at least a little bit tipsy. Oh well, she had heard that most clubs were like this.
She looked across the table to Conall who had taken a seat away from her looking rather disappointed. Suits he stuck out like a sore thumb, and she wasn't that much better with her bright colors. Though at least she could pull off being older compared to him. He was the youngest and he looked it.
"Maybe we should order some non alcoholic drinks? Though I'm tempted to order something...different." A shirley temple might be good. There was a long list of mixed drinks she could choose from.
Conall shifted in his seat awkwardly. He glanced around the bar. A sea of black and purple, with a few mixed regions. Wonderful.
A rather perky young waitress walked over to their table. She gave them a rather suspicious look before speaking. "What's your pleasure lady and gents?"

Arkady was trying not to pay too much attention to the other patrons of the club. Bar. Whatever this place was. He was hardly going to judge them for being here, what with where they lived and how dreary it always was. For all that he was still a kid, Arkady was far from ignorant about what might drive someone to drink. The quiet child saw and heard a lot more around the Palace than many might expect.
Which was why he felt worry surge up in him when he thought Castiel might have just hinted she was going to try something alcoholic. That had bad idea written all over it, and Ark wanted to tell her so, but for some reason his breath caught in his throat. By the time he thought he could attempt to say something, there was already a waitress there. Suits. He didn't want to get them kicked out. If he even hinted they were underage, he'd be buying the three of them more trouble than even Cas could charm her way out of. So he turned and smiled at the waitress, ears perked a bit as if he did this every day. "I'll have whatever she's having," he said with more confidence than he really felt, and nodded to Castiel.

Castiel tapped her fingers on the table. Well if Arkady was getting what she was getting she should probably be responsible. Shoot. Hopefully it wouldn't look suspicious that they were all having non-alcoholic drinks.
"I'll have a Grenadine Lemonade," Castiel said brightly.
They waitress' eyes wandered to the young bog child. It was quite clear that he was underage. "And for you sir?"
Conall could feel his nerves bunching up as he slowly looked at the waitress. Would it be strange of him to ask for just water? He couldn't taste anything properly and he wasn't about to order alcohol. "I'll just have some water."
The waitress nodded, "I'll be back with your drinks in a moment."
As soon as the woman walked of Conall gave a sigh of relief. Why did they have to come in here? What was so exciting about this club-bar-thing? He looked to Castiel who still seemed to be mighty cheerful despite everything.
"This is a pretty interesting place. Do you think most clubs are like this?"
