((Obidiah and Trott are waiting for Zeus to come out to the Bazaar and meet them for lunch after he gets out of the palace of Hearts.
He's awfully late though, and the streets seem to be suddenly empty and dark with exception to pubs and bars. The two of them are getting unusually horrible looks, even for what they are, this is awful. The odd scent of some curious spice and a horrible, underlying pong fills the air and it seems almost as though people are vanishing. They will turn corners and suddenly cease to be there, or walk into a shoppe and never come out...
Your goal is to explore the Bazaar as best you can while you wait for Zeus. If he is unable to make an appearance, then the plans of fate may have to be altered...))

"I will wipe that look off of your face with the rot on my neck, son," Obadiah said to the eighth person he caught staring. He was already on edge because of the everything that was going on in the bazaar. He got the same feeling whenever there was an ambush back on the front, whether he was walking into it or setting it up. He was energized and jazzed up, but had nothing he could take out his nerves on. Well, at least not without getting jumped, outnumbered, beaten, and arrested. "Where's are you and your #*$&in' leader, Trott?" He said to nobody in particular. He liked to group Trott and Zeus together. Two jabs for the price of one. Of course, it barely counted with Trott since he usually didn't understand. They were going to get lunch and leer at the prim rich people. Leering just wasn't the same without Zeus. "Well, I tell you what. When in doubt, get drunk and start a brawl," he said to himself. Let someone try to mix it up with the crazy Lowlander talking to himself. He made his way toward an old hole in the wall that was bustling, a stark contrast to the empty streets. Empty? Weren't they just getting glared at? What in the - Before he could kick in the door and demand a beer, the sound of a wheels on the stones pricked his ears. He turned to see a carriage pulled by freakin' Aces wheel down the street. "Well if it isn't the cream of the freakin' crop. Those Aces giving you a nice smooth ride, Precious?"

Zeus spotted the brown Lowlander almost belatedly, pulling up the Aces hard. The horses snorted, but the Queen didn't care about their plight. It was enough to get away from the strangeness at the Court for now. He felt a welling of relief at the sight of Obadiah, more so than he would have expected with how much the Club sniped at him. But any pack members, at this point, was another pack member, and Obadiah was good enough. "Where are the others?" Zeus said rather than show his weakness by relaying that he was glad to see even Obadiah. "I have Trott, but where are the rest of the Hellhounds?" He disembarked easily from the carriage, banging briefly on the door. "Trott, get out here," he yelled over his shoulder to let the low ranked Club know to get out now.

The ride back from the Court had been the most exhilarating and yet scary thing ever. Trot was not sure if anyone had ever thought to mention to the canine that he could not drive . . . though considering what had happened to the last person who had thought to make a comment about something to the Leader had definitely never repeated the mistake . . . not that the person had been able to speak afterward. Plastered to the floor, dizzy from being sloshed around in the carriage, it took him a moment to regain his feet. "Comin'! Im comin'!" He called out, the new toy he had gained hanging from a string he had tied around it's waist than his own. Falling out onto the ground he gave a groan. That was going to hurt later.

((A foul smell emits from the area as though a great amount of somethings are dead and rotting...
A better lit street stretches to the right, it seems grayer than the rest though... In front of them, a thin, dark alley stretches, the foul smell getting worse down there...it's not wide enough for the carriage or one of the Aces. To their left, another ally lies, pitch black and freezing... It looks like there might be something moving down there...but it's small enough that it's probably just a rat.))

Sarge bowed as elaborately as a giant, muscle-bound German Shepherd could. "Well, now let's see. Trix is out acquiring the male strippers for your special party, Mirek is grabbing a lovely floral arrangement, and Raphael is busy with his audition for the Court Theatre. We're all very hopeful that he will bring new levels of pride and recognition to the Lowlands with his exceedingly wistful portrayal of plllblbbbbbbbtttttTTT!" He carried the raspberry out a good five seconds longer than he needed to, but he believed in being thorough once he committed to something.
He looked at Trott with barely concealed ire. "And I trust, good sir, that you've managed to acquire that for which I've been waiting, with baited breath, for sooth. For without the item I should surely be sorely disappointed, and relegated to yet another day of merry-making and revelry, taking in this quite exotic locale and it's fine potent potables." He really didn't expect Trott to have any idea what he was talking about, as he had no idea himself. He was tired of waiting for the others, is what he was driving at.

Zeus leveled Obadiah with a flat stare. Yes, this was why the Queen hadn't been even slightly worried about the Club. "Glad to see you've kept such a good eye on things, per usual," the Doberman Pinscher said sarcastically. "You can always be trusted to keep an eye on things when I'm away. It's amazing just how relieved I feel knowing that you're around."
He glanced back towards Trott, frowning when he spotted the stuffed animal belted to the Club's waist. He sighed in annoyance, especially when he realized the little plushie looked a lot like a certain horse that he especially abhorred. Fine, whatever, it wasn't worth fight about right now.
Zeus looked around in irritation when he realized that part of his frustration was the smell permeating the area. It smelled. . . like the Lowlands. A quick glance around showed that they really only had three avenues open to them.
"Come on," he ordered the two. "Let's go." He headed down the street to the right, ignoring the dark, cold one and the super stinky one. It didn't matter which way they went just now, so one avenue was as good as any other.

Obadiah smirked at Zeus, then wrinkled his nose. "Well isn't that just a garden of daisies," he said, breathing through his mouth. The smell didn't bother him too much one way or the other, but he wasn't going to fight to stay and bask in it, either. He followed Zeus down the street on the right.
"So what kept you guys, anyway?" he asked. Zeus was a number of things, and surprisingly, punctual was usually one of them. "And, you know, why a carriage pulled by Aces?"
Walking in silence for a bit, he glanced over and saw Trott's new toy. "Oh, for the love of- It's one thing to buy him toys to keep him busy, but what in the name of rot and home is that thing for?" A Josiggy toy? "I mean, is he going to chew it up? It looks like a little hor- Oh! It's that infidel that was Queen. So you can symbolically destroy him. That's okay. Kinda tasteless, I guess. But it's fine."

((The street stretches out into the city square...the fountain in the center seems to have been iced over...but it's ice has been cracked and it appears empty now. Something is out there, though.
Seems to be a small fleet of those little black things...they're not rats though...something else. What could they be?))

"We got jumped," Zeus answered his second in command sharply. "Some rotting servants got gusty." He debated pointing out that they were zombie-ish in nature, but wasn't sure how to say it in such a way that it didn't sound like they were scared. Because they were totally not scared, even it had been pretty creepy. "The Aces were the fastest way to get here." He frowned as they headed down the street. Where was everyone?
"Like you wouldn't have thought to do the same," Zeus said a bit scornfully, but he was obviously still not really paying attention to the other Lowlander. He threw a hand up to stop his pack members. His scowl deepened as he spotted the frozen fountain, but his attention swiftly shifted to the black. .. things.
"What the decomposing corpses are those?" He pulled his dagger out in preparation, ears coming up as he focused in on them, trying to figure out just what they might be.
