Peaches would have yowled if she had time too, but she knew better than that. It was only her mouth, and it wasn't like she bit the tip of her tongue off or anything. Good thing she had decided not to taunt the woman anymore.
But damn, that really hurt. What was behind those fists, metal? She was like four feet tall, where did all that strength come from? Well she was a summons... and not a normal one at that. Though Peaches suspected that it was just because it had been a while since she had been hit in the face. Years if she was remembering correctly.
Peaches did her best to counter the attack, bringing her fan up in a defensive position. If Emeraude hit it in her attack, that would make Peaches life a lot easier. If she didn't this was going to be a world of hurt.
Might as well use her pain ability in advance of a broken arm.
Basic Magical Ability: She can ignore moderate amounts of pain for up to twenty minutes.

Yes.
But Emeraude didn't waste time to savor the hit. She was going to make this horrible for Peaches.
The defense wouldn't work as Emeraude had decided to switch to taking the woman down to the ground. To do so she dropped on one hand, and so she could spin into a kick.
Peaches had no time to compensate from reading the movements wrong. The Avington's legs (even if they were terribly short) were able to snag the back of Peaches knees.
The Torquehelm yelped and hissed as she found herself falling to the ground. She was able to use her hands to prevent her head from smashing on the marble floor. What she wasn't able to prevent was the other woman tackling her and attempting to pin her down.
Emeraude found herself at a slight disadvantage. Peaches was awfully tall, and she was damn good at flailing and wiggling out of situations. Right now keeping her pinned was a job and a half.

Peaches was very unamused.
As much as she enjoyed pain, this wasn't the good kind. She didn't like losing. She was also certian that Emeraude would pound her face into mush if she wasn't careful.
So she flailed, which seemed to be in vain. The damn woman was determined to pin her. So Peaches did the only thing she could think of doing. Biting down on the closest thing to her mouth.
It just so happened that Emeraude was trying to cover Peache's mouth with her hand.
The bite was a brief one, but it was hard enough to make Emeraude shriek bloody murder. It also gave Peaches a chance to knee the other woman when she was recoiling from the pain. "You know Xiven is going to be royally pissed about this right? Going after her poor mother isn't something a loyal and dedicated person would do!"

Whatever fuse Emeraude had it disappeared when the purple haired woman bit down on her hand and then proceeded to knee her. She let out a scream of pain as she fell backwards, catching herself with her good hand.
And that bitch just had to open her mouth.
That was it.
"Don't you ever know when to shut up?" she growled as she launched herself forward with all the strength she could muster. Peaches obviously hadn't expected the force as she went down like a ton of bricks.
She grabbed the woman's hands, managing to pin them above her head. Emeraude sat on the woman in such a way that all the flailing of her legs could be ignored.
Clenching her bitten hand she smiled down at the woman. This was going to hurt quite a bit for both of them, but if all went well she was going to break the stupid woman's nose.
With all the rage behind the fist, it was no surprise that the crack was loud enough to resonate through the entire hallway.

Peaches yowled when the fist made contact with her nose. The snapping sound was the first thing that alerted her to the fact that her nose was broken, the second was the blood, and the pain remained delayed for a few very long moments.
The woman tried to bring her hands up to cover her face. Her nose was bleeding and she wanted to stop it. Instead she forced to turn her head and struggle. The blood was getting everywhere.
This was just plain humiliating. She coughed as she struggled against the woman's vice like grip. "Just... let me go. I'm done! I'm sorry!" She said in protest. The woman's grip only grew tighter.
Shit was she going to get punched in the face again? Her nose was already broken so this beating was just going to be out of spite, wasn't it? Suits. She should have just kept her stupid mouth shut.

Emeraude pulled back for another punch. Stupid bitch was going to get pummeled for insulting her.
At least that was what she intended to do until something shiny caught her eye. Her head snapped to look at the source. Her eyes narrowed as she looked at the target.
Conall. He was standing there looking rather smug. Guh. Hearts. They were so damn full of themselves. She honestly would have smacked him around too if it weren't for the fact that he had rather sharp bits attached to his back. That and she supposed he was tolerable when he spoke. His voice was the only thing that prevented her from stalking away most of the time.
The human shifted her weight, to keep the squirming purple haired woman still. "Go away," she bluntly stated to the mixed breed.
"All right, I'll tell her Majesty everything." He turned on his heal, the cries of both women actually made him pause to glance over his shoulder. The little bird fluttered on on the opposite one. A smile slowly spread on his muzzle.
"Don't you dare!" Emeraude growled. He knew they were both helpless and that the Queen would never approve of what was going on.

Peaches was more than a little surprised when Emeraude suddenly stopped in midmotion. She tried to shift so she could see what she was looking at, and caught a glimpse of Conall.
He wouldn't have been so bad if he hadn't smelled like death and looked like someone had hit him in face with a rock. Why hadn't Xiven dragged him to have his scent removed? The boy would at least have a better chance than, and if she claimed to care about all her children and adopted ones she would want the best for them.
Then again he was related to Pale.
And he was a terribly crafty bastard. Where did that come from?
"He's not going to listen to your threats," Peaches commented brightly from her awkward position under the Summons. Damn she was heavy for something so small. Then again that could be the pressure she was placing on her crotch."He's going to bribe us because he knows full well Xiven would have our asses in slings if she found out about this little spat."

The boy clapped, his expression was smug. "So what are you going to offer me to keep quiet?"
Emeraude grimanced. She had half a mind to let go of Peaches and leap across the hall to strangle the boy. But the sharp bits hitting the floor would be a clear indication that there had been a scuffle. She tried to brush back the rage that was bubbling forth. She was just angry at the stupid cat.
"Fine kid, what do you want?" She grumbled. She was still pinning the woman down. She wasn't about to let her go until this whole stupid ordeal was over with.
It was nice that the child didn't play games. "Take me to the Capital so I can buy a few books that they won't let me touch in the library. And maybe we can go shopping for a few other things?"
"Fine. Now shoo."
The boy paused for a moment, her crossed his arms as he looked at both the women. Right. He was just going to walk away while they were still grappling each other and he still had the upper hand.
The Avington refrained from growling as she slowly removed herself from her place on top of the cat.

Peaches gave a very loud sigh of relief as she was released. It took her a few moments to scramble to her feet She bitched her nose, cursing. How many times had she managed to break it at this point in her life?
Entirely too many. She eyed the boy, not really sure if he was clever or just annoying. Maybe all the smarts he had made up for his hideous looks? He could prove useful in the future. "See you soon," she said with a small wave at the pair, doing her best walking in a straight line away from the pair.
Instead she walked a straight line into her daughter.
She mewed in surprise, a good deal of blood from her nose got on the Queen's very white suit.
"What the hell are you all doing?" Xiven said in deadpan as she stared down at the blood on her suit.
"Bleeding," Peaches said as she hopped to the side of the hallway. "And I intend to go to the infirmary before you beat me about getting blood on the marble, Your Majesty." The woman was suddenly grabbed by her hair and pulled towards the Queen. Whoops. Not getting out of this one so easily.
"All of you explain."

Conall squeaked in mild terror and surprise at the appearance of the Queen. She was supposed to be his adoptive mother, but in all honesty he was still mildly terrified by her. She was a pretty lady who tended to look at him like he was something to be pitied, but suits only knew if she was going to snap and murder everyone. She had the power to.
His tail was tucked between his legs as he tried to look innocent.
Emeraude sighed. She had seen this coming from a mile away and couldn't have stopped it. She ran her fingers through her curling hair. "Your mother insulted me and I decided to take matters into my own hands. Conall was sweet enough to try and bribe the pair of us into taking him to town for not telling you about the incident."
Her eyebrows arched upwards at the three very surmised looks she was getting. She gave a small shrug. What was she supposed to do, lie to the person who had given her a chance to run around in the world? Yeah. Right. "I'm sorry I got carried away Xiven. I wasn't thinking about the fact that you have to clean up after everyone as Queen. Please forgive me."
