This came from the mysterious SoD LiveJournal, and I don't know if it's worth points or anything, but I figured I'd post it just in case people are interested.

100 Questions
Part 1: The Basics
1. What is your full name?: Dania... Like many Cards, I don't consider last names very important.
2. Where and when were you born?: At my parents' home in Torquehelm, about 20 years ago.
3. Who are/were your parents? (Know their names, occupations, personalities, etc.): Both my parents are full Torquehelms. Dad is a Canine, and he owns a book store called “Paige's”, named after his mother. His name is Roscoe, and he's a little on the standoffish side and overprotective, but very loyal and clever. My mum, Lily, is a rat like me, and just keeps the house. She's as sweet as can be and a fantastic cook... but some people would say she's “not all there”. My parents are still very much in love after all these years... it can be a little mortifying when we have company, actually.
4. Do you have any siblings? What are/were they like?: I had two brothers in my litter, but neither survived. “Crib Death”, they called it. My dad thinks it has something to do with how they bound me, but mom assures me that's nonsense. They were both canine eights, twins.
5. Where do you live now, and with whom? I live with my parents in a small town in Torquehelm. We have a nice house, at least I think so-- it's cozy.
6. What is your occupation?: I work in my Dad's store, and I like to write on the side, although I've never been published.
7. Write a full physical description of yourself. You might want to consider factors such as: height, weight, race, hair and eye color, style of dress, and any tattoos, scars, or distinguishing marks: I'm a Torquehelm rat with an insanely long tail that's also my binding. I have a mostly purple coat and purple eyes. My ears are a little pointy for a rat-- I guess I get that from dad. My height and weight are about average for my breed, although I don't like to exercise, so I'm not as muscular as I could be. People say my fur is incredibly soft, and that's probably my favorite feature.
8. To which social class do you belong?: I suppose the middle? About the same as most other high-number cards in the area. My parents are both eights.
9. Do you have any allergies, diseases, or other physical weaknesses?: Well, there's this slight problem with my back leg. Being tied up with my tail, you know? *glare*
10. Are you right- or left-handed?: Right, although it'll be more obvious when... or I suppose if... I attain bipedal form.
11. What does your voice sound like?: It's pretty soft, and sometimes I sound like I'm asking a question even when I'm not. I have a slight Torque accent, but nothing too extreme. Like the rest of me, it's pretty ordinary.
12. What words and/or phrases do you use very frequently?: “Thank you”, I suppose. Mom taught me well. I try to avoid talking to strangers for the most part... shy....
13. What do you have in your pockets?: No pockets, but I have a little spending money, a clean handkerchief and whatever book I'm reading at the moment in my pouch.
14. Do you have any quirks, strange mannerisms, annoying habits, or other defining characteristics?: Hmm, well, I'm a bit indecisive, which some people find annoying, and I say “um” and “uh” a lot-- sometimes it's hard for me to think of the right words and get them properly out of my mouth. My brain goes a bit faster than my lips can keep up! ... Or maybe slower, hm. Also, I'm always reading something, and I'd often rather get lost in a book than socialize. Sometimes I zone out thinking of something when people are trying to talk to me. That drives my dad nuts.
Part 2: Growing Up
15. How would you describe your childhood in general?: It was happy, by Torquehelm standards. Peaceful, sheltered... my parents protected me from everything, since they think the curse lies especially heavy on me, because of my brothers. It would have be nice to have more friends my own age, but I can't complain.
16. What is your earliest memory?: Standing on a kitchen chair, 'helping' my mum bake cookies and making a huge mess!
17. How much schooling have you had?: I finished high school, but I think I really learned more from all my reading at home than from classes.
18. Did you enjoy school?: It was okay. I got good grades (as my parents demanded!) and tried to keep my head down... you can probably imagine that bullying is a problem in Torquehelm schools.
19. Where did you learn most of your skills and other abilities?: From reading, I would say, although I'm sure school had some use. My job at the bookstore also required me to learn some skills I wouldn't have otherwise practiced. Mom made sure I had decent domestic skills, like cooking. I can even sew, since rat-paws are a bit more nimble than most and mom insisted I practice.
20. While growing up, did you have any role models? Just my parents, really. I wanted so, so much for them to be proud of me. Still do, actually.
21. While growing up, how did you get along with the other members of your family?: Yes, although I could never quite seem to please my father, no matter how hard I tried. He's always been strict and distant with me, and I was a little scared of him when I was small. Mom loves me very much, and I adore her. Even if some people think she's a little off in the head...
22. As a child, what did you want to be when you grew up?: It varied by the week, although my most persistent desires were to be a writer... or candy-store owner.
23. As a child, what were your favorite activities?: Reading, daydreaming, exploring, and playing with stuffed animals. I also loved building forts with my blankets and having pretend adventures. I had several imaginary friends who came with me.
24. As a child, what kinds of personality traits did you display?: I was even more shy than now, if that's possible! I was well-behaved, I guess, always seeking approval from adults.
25. As a child, were you popular? Who were your friends, and what were they like?: I never really had many close friends, although there were a few kids I would play with from time to time. I usually tried to involve them in some grand imaginary quest, and that was fun, but I never formed any special attachments to anyone.
26. When and with whom was your first kiss?: Eh.. heh heh... I'll get back to you on that... when it happens. If it happens.... I'm not exactly good at relationships of any kind, so I don't foresee any sort of situation where someone would want to kiss me happening in... well, ever.
27. Are you a virgin? If not, when and with whom did you lose your virginity?: See above, I guess. The idea of sex actually freaks me out a little..... and I don't think anyone would want to do it with me, anyhow.
28. If you are a supernatural being (i.e. mage, werewolf, vampire), tell the story of how you became what you are or first learned of your own abilities. If you are just a normal human, describe any influences in your past that led you to do the things you do today: My parents were my biggest direct influences, but indirectly I think the death of my brothers changed everything. It's almost like I've been trying to make up for being the one to survive ever since. I know I can never take the place of the boys in my dad's eyes, but I can't seem to keep myself from trying. Oh, and the fact that my mum is a tiny bit on the batty side (don't tell her I said that!), lead to me learning early on how to take care of myself and be responsible.
Part 3: Past Influences
29. What do you consider the most important event of your life so far?: I suppose when I learned to read! That was like opening the door into a million secret worlds where I could hide...
30. Who has had the most influence on you?: My parents, by far. They still hold a lot of influence over me, although I'm trying to gain a bit more independence recently.
31. What do you consider your greatest achievement?: Oh, I really haven't done anything to speak of...
32. What is your greatest regret?: So many regrets... but nothing earth-shattering. *sigh* Mostly I wish I could've done more for my mom when I was growing up.
33. What is the most evil thing you have ever done?: I don't think I've done anything really 'evil'... Maybe I did something terrible in a past life or something, I don't know.
34. Do you have a criminal record of any kind?: Not at all.
35. When was the time you were the most frightened?: I think it was when I told my parents I was leaving to apply to an Esterberry university. I was afraid my mum might do something... drastic...
36. What is the most embarrassing thing ever to happen to you?: Well I had to do an oral report for school, and j-just when I got up to s-start speaking, I.... Do I have to say?
37. If you could change one thing from your past, what would it be, and why?: Oh, I think this is obvious: I'd want my brothers to live. That way I'd not only have brothers to love me, but maybe dad would love me too, and mom would remember things, and not cry at night...
38. What is your best memory?: I really don't know.... Maybe the time I wrote mom a poem for her birthday and made her cry, in a happy way, for once.
39. What is your worst memory?: The day dad caught me sneaking his pipe out of his desk. I seriously was only planning to pretend-smoke it, but there was a horrible fuss... He didn't believe me, and one thing led to another... that was the only time he's told me to my face that he thought I'd never amount to anything and wished I had died instead of my brothers.
Part 4: Beliefs And Opinions
40. Are you basically optimistic or pessimistic?:By Torquehelm standards I'm am optimist. Anyone else would still call me a pessimist.
41. What is your greatest fear?: Public speaking! But seriously, I've always worried that mom might just crack one of these days...
42. What are your religious views?: I'm more superstitious than religious. I believe in The Curse and reincarnation, and I suppose that what you do in life, good or bad, comes back to you.
43. What are your political views?: I really don't know much about politics. I'm rather a bit of a failure in that area...
44. What are your views on sex?: I don't like to think about it too much... It's all a little gross, what with all the fluids, and the touching, and the intimacy... *shudder* What other people do is their business. I just don't want to see it.
45. Are you able to kill? Under what circumstances do you find killing to be acceptable or unacceptable?: Probably not... I have trouble with confrontation of any kind. I guess self defense or to save an innocent life would be a good justification for killing, but I don't think I would be able to do it, personally.
46. In your opinion, what is the most evil thing any human being could do?: Probably um... mass murder? It's not something I've thought a lot about.
47. Do you believe in the existence of soul mates and/or true love?: For some people, maybe. But there are also those who are destined for loneliness, or simply unlucky.
48. What do you believe makes a successful life?: Leaving behind some sort of mark on the world, whether it's a great work of art, an invention, or children. Having at least one person who you truly love and trust is also key to a good life... so far my life is not what I'd consider a success.
49. How honest are you about your thoughts and feelings (i.e. do you hide your true self from others, and in what way)?: I'm not really a liar, but I tend to keep my feelings to myself. I just don't think anyone really cares what I think, and it's safer not to open up.
50. Do you have any biases or prejudices?: Well, I think that most people in the Capital are terribly rude... does that count? I also have a hard time dealing with anyone I consider nosy. If someone shows too much interest in my private business, that can be grounds for instant dislike.
51. Is there anything you absolutely refuse to do under any circumstances? Why do you refuse to do it?: I will never, ever sing or dance in public. Or eat steak-and-kidney pie. The first because I get so embarrassed, and the second because I think kidneys are repulsive.
52. Who or what, if anything, would you die for (or otherwise go to extremes for)?: Definitely my mother. I'd do anything for her, no question.
Part 5: Relationships With Others
53. In general, how do you treat others (politely, rudely, by keeping them at a distance, etc.)? Does your treatment of them change depending on how well you know them, and if so, how?: I do my best to be kind and polite to everyone, even those I don't really like. I really tend to keep others at arms' length, but over time I might open up a bit. In general, I try to avoid people, but it's not that I'm anti-social, just awkward and shy.
54. Who is the most important person in your life, and why?: My mother, again. We rely on each other for a lot, and I feel I owe her enormous gratitude for all the love and care she's given me over the years.
55. Who is the person you respect the most, and why?: I have huge respect for great writers. I wish I could speak to some of the classic authors and learn from them, and tell them how much their words have meant to me.
56. Who are your friends? Do you have a best friend? Describe these people: I... I don't really have many friends. I guess Eldy is my 'best' friend-- she's a Torque feline with only one ear. I don't really know her all that well, but something about her... I trusted her right away. I don't usually open up easily, and I think that makes friends hard to come by. I wish I had more friends, but I'm afraid to go out and get them.
57. Do you have a spouse or significant other? No, I'm very much single.
58. Have you ever been in love? If so, describe what happened: Haha, no. The closest thing would be huge crush I had in my teens... he was an adorably fluffy Torquehelm sheep, very sweet-natured. I think he's married now. Figures.
59. What do you look for in a potential lover?: I really just want someone good and kind who loves me for who I am. It would help if he.... or maybe she?... was understanding about how uncomfortable I am with strangers and willing to help me face my fears.
60. How close are you to your family?: Quite close with my mother, less so with my dad. I don't have much of an extended family, at least not as far as I know.
61. Have you started your own family? If so, describe them. If not, do you want to? Why or why not?: No, the right person hasn't come along yet. I would like to have a family, but it would have to be with someone I really loved. It would be great if my spouse was from a different realm, since I dread the idea of having to have my children bound, even if it is for their own good.
62. Who would you turn to if you were in desperate need of help?: Honestly? My dad. For all our differences, he's incredibly trustworthy and cool under pressure.
63. Do you trust anyone to protect you? Who, and why?: My parents, I suppose. They've been protecting me my whole life. A little too much, maybe.
64. If you died or went missing, who would miss you?: My mom, at least when she remembered I was gone... maybe my dad, a little. That's.. about it. Gosh, that's depressing.
65. Who is the person you despise the most, and why?: There were a few kids in school who picked on me and who I really disliked, but I'm basically over it now. I guess I don't really hate anyone.
66. Do you tend to argue with people, or avoid conflict?: Avoid, AVOID! I stay away from conflict at all costs. I would rather let people think I'm wrong than argue my point for the satisfaction of being right.
67. Do you tend to take on leadership roles in social situations?: Not at all. I'm more comfortable following the crowd, or better yet, staying out of the social situation altogether.
68. Do you like interacting with large groups of people? Why or why not?: Not at all. The word “hate” might be more accurate. On the other hand, I do enjoy a little people-watching, if I can find an out of the way spot to do it from.
69. Do you care what others think of you?: I would like to be able to say no, but the truth is I do, very much. I want desperately for people to like me, and I'd do anything to make my parents proud. I find it very upsetting when someone seems to dislike me, and will go out of my way to remedy the situation.
Part 6: Likes And Dislikes
70. What is/are your favorite hobbies and pastimes?: You can probably guess that reading tops the list! I also like to write and doodle, take walks and cook with my mom. I'd probably like to learn to paint if I could get this darn bipedal thing figured out.
71. What is your most treasured possession?: I'm not very materialistic, but I still treasure my favorite childhood stuffed animal, a little pink elephant... well, more like grayish, now.
72. What is your favorite color?: I'm very fond of white, it's so pure and fresh.
73. What is your favorite food?: Pretty much anything my mother makes! I do have a sweet tooth though, and dried fruit and anything chocolate are my favorite treats. I love to eat.
74. What, if anything, do you like to read?: I'll devour just about anything! I love fiction, but history, biography and poetry are also favorites. I like fantasy and exotic settings that transport me to faraway places. A well-written book can be an escape, like in mini-vacation from the real world. I also love books that I can learn something from. I'm curious about pretty much everything, and enjoy discovering new things.
75. What is your idea of good entertainment (consider music, movies, art, etc.)?: I like many sorts of entertainment, and have a fairly open mind, but I have soft spot for the native Torquhelm writers and composers. They seem to capture a depth of emotion and longing that's almost too beautiful to bear.
76. Do you smoke, drink, or use drugs? If so, why? Do you want to quit?: Not at all. The one time I tried smoking, it made me rather ill, and drugs have never really had any appeal to me.... Besides the sleeping drought I sometimes take for insomnia... but I don't abuse it! Now, I do drink a glass of wine or a cocktail now and again, but that hardly counts.
77. How do you spend a typical Saturday night?: Dozing in front of the fire with a cup of tea and a good book.
78. What makes you laugh?: The strange things customers sometimes say in the bookstore. Of course, I wait for them to leave before I laugh.
79. What, if anything, shocks or offends you?: When people talk about their sex lives, ew! Too much information! I also get offended when people talk down to me. Just because I don't always say a lot doesn't mean I'm stupid.
80. What would you do if you had insomnia and had to find something to do to amuse yourself?: Ha, this happens far more often than I like to admit. I usually just daydream, or think about plots and characters I would use if I was to write a book. I'm pretty good at keeping my self occupied with just my imagination.
81. How do you deal with stress?: I don't handle stress very well. It tends to make my depression worse, and I just want to hide from whatever is stressing me out. I'll try to escape into a book or my own mind.
82. Are you spontaneous, or do you always need to have a plan?: I like to have a plan if I'm going to out of my element, sort of a safety net. If I have free time in a place I feel comfortable, I'm happy to go with the flow.
83. What are your pet peeves?: Nosy people, bullies and snobs, and people who come into the bookstore asking for “That one book... I think the cover is sort of blue.... or green... and the title is... something about a cat? No, a dog. I think the author is from Esterberry. Well, do you have it???”
Part 7: Self Images And Etc.
84. Describe the routine of a normal day for you. How do you feel when this routine is disrupted?: Normally I get up and eat breakfast, then head over to my job at Paige's. Dad is usually already there. At lunchtime we go back home to eat, mom often has some errands or chores for me, then its back to the store until closing time. I walk home, have a late supper with my parents and read until bed time. I usually don't really like when my schedule is disrupted, but on the other hand I'm pretty ready for a change at this point.
85. What is your greatest strength as a person?: I think I'm... kinda... nice?
86. What is your greatest weakness?: I'm really shy, awkward, and, y'know, cursed.
87. If you could change one thing about yourself, what would it be?: I'd like to have a NORMAL binding... but more than that, I' want to be the kind of person people want to be around. I wish I had a magnetic personality.
88. Are you generally introverted or extroverted?: I'm an Introvert. To a fault, probably.
89. Are you generally organized or messy?: Working in the bookstore has taught me to be very organized-- except for my desk, which is a disaster!
90. Name three things you consider yourself to be very good at, and three things you consider yourself to be very bad at: I'm very good at writing, comforting people and organizing. I'm terrible at sports, socializing and standing up for myself.
91. Do you like yourself?: I... I guess I'm okay.
92. What are your reasons for being an adventurer (or doing the strange and heroic things that RPG characters do)? Are your real reasons for doing this different than the ones you tell people in public? (If so, detail both sets of reasons...): I'm really not all that heroic. I'd like to do strange and heroic things one day, but for now I'm barely managing my fairly normal life. Bravery isn't really my strong suit, anyhow.
93. What goal do you most want to accomplish in your lifetime?: I want to make my parents proud. I want to become someone my dad HAS to admire... I want to prove him wrong.
94. Where do you see yourself in 5 years?: I hope I graduate from university in about 5 years, and if I'm lucky, maybe fall in love. I'd also like to rank up a little-- it would be nice to be a 9 or 10.
95. If you could choose, how would you want to die?: I'd want it to be sudden and painless- I'd hate to die of some horrible, lingering disease.
96. If you knew you were going to die in 24 hours, name three things you would do in the time you had left: Say goodbye to my parents, have a last meal of my mum's cooking, and go somewhere beautiful to re-read some of my favorite poems and passages.
97. What is the one thing for which you would most like to be remembered after your death?: For being someone many people loved.... hey, a girl can dream, right? A little more realistically, I'd like to write something memorable that people will want to read long after I'm gone.
98. What three words best describe your personality?: Curious, melancholy and imaginative
99. What three words would others probably use to describe you?: Probably awkward, depressed and naïve. =/
100. If you could, what advice would you, the player, give to your character? (You might even want to speak as if he or she were sitting right here in front of you, and use proper tone so he or she might heed your advice...): Dania, you have natural Diamond charm, remember? Use it! You need to make some actual friends, whether you like it or not. Come on, it won't kill you to at least try to be sociable once in a while. It won't, I promise!
P.S. Your Dad likes you more than you give him credit for. Give the old guy a break, hmm?
