I decided to post some stuff that I've been working on in my 2D media class since the beginning of the semester. It's pretty much a class where we constantly experiment and I never know what to do. Wax painting of Othello if he had a bipedal form. This is a large wax painting that took about... nine hours total. Three hours for each layer. These three piece were a total of 12 hours. It's Rosemary. Done with Gesso, ink, charcoal, and conte And now not so experimental sketches of Xander's scary ass reflection: Oh yeah, and might as well put these up here too: Bad animations demanded by my professor projectnos.net/art/peacheswaves.htmlprojectnos.net/art/conwayanimation.html

The wax paintings are so pretty. ~stare~ The gesso, ink, charcoal, and conte is vair amazing, too, though. XD Xander's reflection is.. wow. XD The Peaches animation made me laugh while the Conway one is fascinating to watch.

Oh nice~ I love the grungy layering in the wax paintings, they really suit Othello.<3 And zomg, you know how much I love art of Rosemary but the styling is just perfect for her and The Wood. My favorite may actually be her in animal form, everything is just so wonderfully haunting.
And Mirror!Xander! awesome! I love how his eyes are the only thing with color in the sketchy one. He's a pretty mirror monster, yes he is.<3
And animations! That Peaches animation terrifyingly reminded me of the chick from the Grudge with her weird 'coming to get you with ma hair!' antics but it is still made of win. XD Great job with Conway's animation, there's a great sense of movement there. ^^
