Sorgaire Range: Residents are usually slate with a white speckled underbelly and dark blue facial markings that continue down the spine. They have a higher than normal chance for mane mutations and, when a mane appears, it is almost always silvery. Residents of the Sorgaire Range have little to fear from invading forces or a lack of resources. Though the mountain range is mostly rocky and barren, they are often supplied with cheap food and other supplies from the Josiggy Marsh to ensure that they don't assist those in the Lowlands. Lithe and camouflaged, the members of the Range have an easy enough time blending into their surroundings and avoiding conflicts that may occur around them. Elsewhere, their coats are often praised for their simple beauty and are admired by those about them. Intelligent and aspiring to greatness, many Range dwellers will leave to seek placement in the Courts. They are prized for their quick wit and dry sense of humor toward daily life. The members of the Range often carry with them a piece of stone from their home. Loosing it could cause the owner much grief. Mustelids: Mustelids are fairly common. With their lithe shapes, they can wriggle their way into almost every part of the realm. They tend to stay away from the Tulgey Wood, however, as they’re smart creatures and know a bad sign when they see it. They often come in the forms of weasels, ferrets, and pine martens, though raccoons aren’t terribly hard to locate...and once in a blue moon you may even see a squirrel. Heart: The ClawHearts are a bit rarer in society, and are also the most revered. For parents to receive a Heart as a child is a blessing and a delight, as the child will probably bring them power that they do not have. The ferocity and short temper of the Suit is legendary, but not necessarily true for all in the Suit. Hearts have a tendency towards recklessness and wildness in their actions, though their ability to muster power at the snap of their fingers is most assuredly true and remarkable. It serves them well as the most feared and respected of the Suits. The symbol of the Hearts, the Claw, is most fitting, as there is nothing more brutal than to be hit in the face with something sharp; be it their wit, their magic, or their fist, the experience won't be pleasant. Hearts tend to delight in the fact that they are represented as ruthless and unkind. Some of them feel that power cannot truly be gained with kindness, though others resent the fact that their friendships are all superficial and that their lovers are all two-faced. They may attempt to make themselves seem different. Basic Magical Ability: All Hearts can ignore moderate amounts of pain for up to an hour, depending on the willpower of the individual. Five-Seven: Fives, Sixes, and Sevens are the most commonly found members of society and are seen as the "middle class". Since there are so many of them, they are seen as the "norm" and feel that there is nothing wrong with their lot in life if they remain where they are. They tend to be pleased with life and can get mediocre jobs as higher-end servants in the Courts, living their lives comfortably in the average end of society. Higher-ups may still look down on them, but they can all feel justified in gossiping about that moronic snot at dinner or with the neighbors. AccessoriesCloak A thick, red cloak with golden symbols embroidered around the edges. When worn, the owner may feel a little off, but pass it as nothing, until they begin to realize that they can get where they're going in the blink of an eye. Yes! You have a teleport cloak! Once per day, this cloak enables the wearer to travel through dimensions to a place where they wish to go. They can only travel to somewhere they've been however, and they must focus on where it is that wish to go in their minds specifically. For example: If they think that they want to go to the palace of Hearts, but have never been, it will not work. If they want to go to the palace of Hearts, but don't specify where in the palace, the cloak won't work. If they specify that they want to be in the third floor library, it will take them to the library door. Taloned Ring This beautiful ring contains a mild poison that will cause the person ingesting it/scratched by it to fall asleep at once for exactly three hours. Uses left 10
