She sat not far from the entrance of the Warren, ears perked forward as she peered at the surroundings. Gah.... it was bright. She lifted up a paw and placed it just so on her head so that it made her blue mohawk fan out and help protect her eyes. And that's when that weird, tickly sensation crept over her skin again ... shard it all she hated shedding. She picked up one of those big, hind paws and started scratching at her thick coat, sending a flurry of brown hair into the air. She couldn't keep herself from heaving a sigh and crumpling a bit. This... sucked. It was hot, boring and her hair was falling out ... but not enough to make her any bit comfortable. She was a walking mess, which made keeping things around the warren clean that much harder. How could possibly clean when you left a trail of thick little fur strands behind you? And that's precisely why she'd come ot sit outside ... so she wouldn't make a mess she'd have to try and clean. Well, that and to get away from everyone.

Sadly, the worst of days for Talaith meant the best of days for Aisha. The sun was out... and the wind wasn't strong enough to kick up the terrible dust storms.. it was just a lovely calm across the entire desert, the harsh storms from last night having blown some of the sand up into small dunes. And for the record... sliding down sand dunes is totally kickass.. There were perks when it wasn't her day with Dorian. If anything, she was luck that she wasn't the only Doe. Otherwise she'd have to be prim and proper... perfect, every day. At least this way, she could be herself, and she could get absolutely.. filthy. With dust in her fur, mane tangled wrecklessly, Aisha's face was alight with glee as she slid down belly first on the great sand dune, falling flat on her face at the end of it but not giving the slightest of cares. Bumps and bruises could hardly be seen under fur, and the physical activity and pain was invigorating in its own right. Standing up, she shook her fur roughly, sand and dust going every which where. Only then did she notice the familiar figure on the doorstep of the warren. "Talaith?" She knew the leveret by name, and had no problem addressing her with it. After all, Talaith had been her nanny growing up. "Isn't it a bit hot for you outside?"

One of those long ears perked up at the sound of her name, the end of it weighed down by one of her hoops. She'd actually forgotten that Aisha was here as it was Dorian that seemed to find her most, or that other Doe tripping over her on occasion when she flattened herself out on the floor and managed to fall asleep ... all of which were knocks to her ego. which was... probably a goo thing, leverets weren't supposed have minds like hers after all.
She peered at the doe for a moment, cobalt orbs taking her in; she'd never really bothered to look the girl over since she'd gotten her adornments. She remembered how it had felt to get the hoops in her ears and felt a little sorry for the girl... what with all those earrings she had. They did have a nice effect though, the blue really complimented the highland colors and gold settings. Ok... so she didn't mind Aisha as much anymore as she had when she was younger ... she'd grown out of her snottiness for the most part... or at least learned to save it.
A little... then again ... isn't it a little dirty out here for you... Miss Aisha?
There was a little teasing undertone that went right along with the little smirk on her face... she knew how Aisha was, she'd seen her grow from a little snotty ball of fluff to the pretty thing she was now after all. Hopefully she could still tease the Highlander and get away with it, thick fur or not those claws still tended to hurt.

The smirk was returned in kind, her tone coy. "Maybe. Then again, I'm not really trying to stay clean, am I?" She gave her fur another rather unladylike shake before surveying the situation. "You should take a pile of that and put it somewhere and see if Dorian mistakes it for you on the floor." Of course she was joking. That might piss the Jack off. Then again, it seemed Talaith was the scapegoat for most of his frustrations. Aisha wasn't going to go as far as to say she wasn't pretty, but she was fuzzy, shedding.. and... well, her attitude sucked. Then again, from what she'd heard that was a Solandrian trait. What were Solandrian -Jacks- like, then? With a stubby bunny finger, she absently flicked out some of the sand out of her ears. Hisstor mother or not, she hadn't really inherited a fur coat to deal with sand getting in awkward places.

She lifted up one big, front paw and splayed out her toes, displaying even more fluff in the process, as a look of mock shock crossed her features .... looking rather out of place on her normally rather blank face. Her tone just as melodramatic as her expression.
My my... that certainly isn't the proper behavior of a lady! Whatever shall I do about this?
Oh gads, she sounded too off to keep a straight face, or.. .rather... maintain such a silly expression and couldn't quite keep herself from snickering a bit. Then she just had to go and make a suggestion that she'd considered a time or two in the past ... she just couldn't quite figure out how to make a believable mane without plucking her own out.
Hum, you find me a good mohawk substitution and I just might. Although I'm quite sure good sir Dorian wouldn't be happy with a fur rug.
She arched a brow briefly as the highland Doe started digging sand out of her ear and decided to go along with it and started scratching again. As expected another cloud of dead fur found it's way to the air... making her wonder how long she'd have to scratch herself before that stopped. Well, she'd probably have to scratch herself bald and that ... just didn't sit well in her mind.

Aisha decided no to "dignify" her with an answer on that, and instead merely grinned and continued picking sand out of her ears. What a sight it must have been, a Doe and a leveret sitting out in a desert, grooming in some of the most disgusting ways possible. So odd.
Still... Talaith certainly -was- shedding, and it was decidedly gross. Was she going to go bald? Her nose wrinkled just slightly and brushed away a ball of fur that rolled her way.
"Why don't you get that Morganberry girl get to uou with those combs? At least then you won't look patchy." Immediately after saying it, Aisha contemplated as to whether that sounded as bad as she thought it did. Not about to apologize though, she merely shrugged. "I mean.. better than scratching, anyways. Maybe she even has a hair thinner. If not I'm sure Dorian could buy one somewhere. As to how I'd have to convince him.." Now her nose truly -did- wrinkle up on her face, though at the same time, she did a half glance over her shoulder. Habit, after all.

Baths, combs and things like that weren't really her thing ... although she'd probably dry a lot faster out here then back in the Highlands. Then again... a bath would probably feel amazing ... but gads, that required being fussed over and she hated that. Still, it would get all that pesky, itchy sand out of her fur as well... damnit, leave it to a doe to make her start considering that.
That would require someone making a fuss ... you know how I feel about that.
Oh yes, she'd hidden herself away from Ashta on occasion, it had been far easier to find places to hide in Vikenti's warren, unless she was being a server of course.
Hair... thinner? Would that... make me look bald?
It was a foreign concept that left her a bit confused ... and also made her wonder where the doe could have possibly heard that from.

Aisha couldn't help but roll her eyes. "I don't really believe you could look... bald.. not with how much hair you have. With it uneven though..." A small strike on Talaith's vanity were she considerate of such thing, and Aisha gave a helpless shrug. Perhaps if it bothered the leveret though, it would convince her to do something about her state. Perhaps she'd even stop finding hairballs on the ground.
With Talaith standing there with a continued look of confusion on her face, Aisha absently continued. "It's a common procedure; a thinner does wonders for unruly manes with too much thickness to them, or thinning down winter fur. I'm sure it would work for your issue as well." It didn't surprise her that a leveret, especially from her region, hadn't heard or seen one of these items. They were a more specialized grooming tool that Aisha had seldom used herself.
