Now that the Jack had accepted what could have been considered a very bad stigma and Leon had even managed to twist it into some sort of badge of honour, the Colonel seemed entirely at ease with the younger Rabbit.
"We came all the way across the regions; what a bother!" the Jack drawled. "Cards everywhere, the noisome insects! I swear, they seem to be breeding like fleas! Wish I could pop a few of them, eh?" He laughed at his own not entirely funny joke, but his attention was swiftly arrested by the doe who presented herself demurely. "Oh, ho! My lady," he inclined a polite bow to the Doe, ever the gentleman. "I do declare, you've got yourself a lovely little Doe! It is my honour and privilege to introduce myself to you! Colonel Beauregard Saunders of Golfam Marsh. And if I may present my own little darling, apple of my eye, Magnolia Lee Faith."
With such a grand introduction-- also not surprising-- the brown Doe scooted up next to her father and made her own little curtsy to the Selkie Jack. "The pleasure is all mine, Father, as well you know." She tossed her head lightly and looked up at the Selkie through her lashes.

Some time after the arrival of the Golfam pair, Dorian made his way onto the scene. He had recently reached the age of maturity, been beset by the undeniable Need of his rank, and made excellent use of the Doe his father had gifted him. Pretty, if defective, but the real prize was her ability. That was something he would covet, at least so long as it continued to amuse him. Besides, she pampered his ego in all the right ways. Pretty Vishka. He had left his only Leveret back at their warren to tend to her. All he could imagine was having her trip down the stairs. Granted, there were only three, but what if she tripped down them anyway? Besides, she needed to eat and be cared for. He could suffer through a few days of travel without the luxuries he'd come to expect in the form of regular brushings and other such servitude. Before formally approaching the area with the other Rabbits, he had taken half an hour to properly primp himself. His hair fluffed nicely, the feathers braided into his bangs fanned out next to his face in a becoming fashion, and he generally looked his best, rather like a young dandy. Rather a lot. He heard the gathering before he saw anyone, and when he finally caught sight of the colorful Rabbits in attendance, his walk became something in between a saunter and a strut. He would be the youngest Jack here and, in his mind, by far the most handsome. Whether they looked at him in awe or disbelief, they would all look at him. Of this he was sure. Eli glanced up as motion to the side caught her eye and did indeed stare, not quite sure what to make of the new arrival. What...?

Not wanting to cause any upset Leon laughed good naturally along with the Golfam. "Quite so, I agree."
At his sudden shift in conversation Leon looked around puzzled for a moment before spotting what it was that had caught his attention. Ah, Eli, he had quite forgotten the sweet dear was standing behind him in everything that had been going on. "Ah, where have my manners gone? Colonel Saunders, it is my pleasure to introduce to you my prize Doe, Nayeli."
When the Colonel proceeded to introduce the Doe that he had bought along as well, he found his interest growing. How strange to bring along your own daughter, especially if she was looking as attractive as this one, if you did not intend to trade her.
"My dear, meeting someone as lovely as yourself is always a pleasure." Giving another small bow to the Golfam Jack. "I hope that you will enjoy the part to your satisfaction. Please let me know if there is anything you should need." He was going to have to talk to the Jack a little later in interest of seeking a trade.

The Golfam Jack was ready to gush over the doe, and proceeded to do so with an endless amount of praises for beauty, demureness, and other such characteristics, though some of his praises might not necessarily be considered compliments; after all, leverets were supposed to cook, not does. Nevertheless, the Colonel was quite certain that Nayeli must be an excellent cook, and wouldn't she just love to spend some time getting to know his own wonderful Magnolia, who, of course, would never sink so low as having to cook, but if she had to at any point, she would, of course, be perfectly marvelous at it.
"Father, what a wonderful idea," the doe cut in easily through his effusiveness. "Perhaps you would be so kind as to fetch the lovely Nayeli and me some refreshment?" She looked up at her father with a properly doting expression. "I find I'm quite parched after our journey." She turned to the Mid-Range doe before the Jack could argue. "And you, m'dear, and I shall be the best of friends, won't we? Are the other does in your warren as lovely as you?"

((OOC: *pokes the thread curiously* Should we branch off and have different Jacks meeting throughout the course of the party in different locations and whatnot?))

((And I'm going to have to bow out of this one, since Eli has now officially been scared to death. <3))
