[OOC: LOL...Severus picking flowers XDDDDD
Anyway...be easy on him...he's having a *snirk* wonderful time XDDDD] It was during these seemingly joyful tasks, that Severus seemed to show just exactly how grumpy he could be. He grumbled and mumbled like there was no tomarrow as he worked, hands gloved for protection as he stood in a vast feild of yellow poisonous Yarrow Gardens flowers. If there was any other way to get these particular flowers, he might have gone the other route, but unfortunately for him, his shipping had been delayed to long for his OCD not to flare into a wave of anxiety that would force him here to get his supplies. The people who could get it didn't want to...and so far his interactions with other Yarrows to do the favor for him had gone poorly. So he was forced here to do it himself. Poison seemed to be all around him, and he could identify them all. The toxins in the air, the poisons in the flowers...all of them seemed to be attacking him at once. For this he grumbled as he fiddled with gathering what he need from the thorny yellow flowers, carefully stepping so he wouldn't scratch his delicate deer legs. His tail lashed as he bent over the flowers, showing clearly his aggrivation. After all, he wasn't really IMMUNE to poison...he was just able to tell that poison was in certain things. The air around him began to make him feel slightly dizzy and he growled in fustration. He was going to get sick from coming here....he knew this upon entering...and now he knew it for sure. He just had to get the last bits of what he needed so he could get the hell out of here.

[OOC: You wish. XDD The dice and Souris decided to make life difficult for him. ^_~] A mouse shifted, soft grumbling disturbing her peaceful slumber, arching a little to avoid the hands and fingers that refused to leave her to sleep. Souris reluctant stretched, sleepily, cottoning onto a lashing tail absently with her fores, and claws, snuggling her body down against the cool surface, letting her core warm the strange tail to an acceptable temperature, as she tried to make herself comfortable. Except for the frequent lashing, the tail made a soft, supple bed. She did, however, have to fight to hold the tail close, lest her weight force the tail to break off. And she doubted the owner would appreciate that. She was also, possibly, going to make the owner slightly off-balance, unless s/he was accustomed to sudden dead weight, preventing movement. She blinked, properly awake now, and somewhat astonished at what she was doing. Slowly, she raised her head, looking for Card who owned the serpentine tail, stopping a moment when her gaze encountered hooves and swooshy cloak, against black formal dress, and neon green and black hand. A biped then, possibly Corvistowneian. And male. Very definitely male. If she hadn't been hanging onto his tail, she'd have wondered rather more. But the tail was real, and she was real, she (and the tail) were in the Gardens.

Severus soon became wise to the fact that his tail was being molested as he was picking flowers. It made his face twitch a bit before he looked back to see who was on top of it. He looked to see a yellow, white, and purple Yarrow Gardens Mouse. Guh! His eyes narrowed dangerously at the creature that had dared to take a nap on his tail. The gases made him sick, the flowers were threatening to poison him, and now he had an overly affectionate sleeping mouse to deal with. To say that Severus hated physical contact was an understatement. He even hated it when those he cared about touched him...or at least was shocked. He didn't want this mouse touching him anymore.
"Last time I checked...my tail wasn't a pillow..." he said condecendingly as he ripped his tail out of her grasp...or tried to anyway. The motion as well as the mouses wait upon his stabilizing limb caused him to start tipping in a dangerous way. He quickly looked for a gap in the flowers before resituating himself so that his foot could move there and stabilize himself. He snorted. "If you wouldn't mind..." he said, slightly flustered.

How...interesting. Golden-yellow eyes stopped on the rather intriguing pair in the flower field, and Aliyah couldn't help but stop herself, multi-colored feathers fluttering around her paws from where they'd been gently streaming backward as she'd jogged along. The Yarrow/Selkie mix (Yarrow Lakes? Selkie Gardens?) was in the middle of something that was a combination of endurance training - cheetahs weren't particularly good at the whole "running for a long period of time" thing - and training to move quickly and keep herself from tripping over her own feathering. However, seeing a Yarrow mouse clinging to the tail of a rather irked black-clad man - was he a Corvistownean? - was far more intriguing, only if to find out what a man was doing, here in the Gardens. Not even a Yarrow man, for that matter. The cheetah wasn't anywhere near her full growth - she was only ten or eleven years old - but she was definitely developing her mother's long, clean lines, even if she was going to end up probably being quite a bit more muscled. The feathering on her legs was currently loose, even if often she found herself getting them braided up out of her way, because her grandmother refused to allow her to cut it. According to the older woman, they could be useful to her at some point in the future, somehow. It didn't matter, Aliyah had decided. She'd become strong enough that it wouldn't matter. "...do you need help, there?"[/color] It was only polite to offer, after all, even though it might just be more entertaining to watch it all play out. [ooc: Do you mind if I join in? =D]

(OOC: Welcome, Shini! You know I don't mind, at all. I do apologise for the way Souris snubbed Aliyah, but my Card didn't like her offering help to her nemesis at all. XD)
A man in the Gardens -- picking flowers.
Unbelievable.
Souris opened her mouth, about to apologize, when he ripped his from her grasp, and haughtily informed her that his tail was not a pillow.
Well.
How dare he!
She was a female, from an influential Diamond family who wouldn't acknowledge her, and pure Gardens (the Morganberry parent didn't count.) She deserved more respect, especially from a male nobody from Corvistowne, even if he was a Heart.
She peered at him closely, but the black, close fitting clothes hid both Suit and Rank from her vision, and she couldn't tell. She'd love to pull rank on him, but she didn't dare, not knowing if he outranked her. The power play might backfire. So she seethed silently instead, a small appreciative smile hovering upon her muzzle as the sudden movement nearly made him fall, snickering inaudibly as he fought to maintain his dignity, her amusement dying quickly as a strange mix offered help.
She tilted her head, considering, at the stranger. The yellow, pink and lilac marked her as Gardens, but the strangely beautiful feathering definitely marked her as other. And she, though low-ranking was a Diamond. So, she would let the insult pass, for now, and pretend the part bred didn't know any better.
She supposed the serpentine deer did look like he needed the help -- badly.
