Notes

What...what is this little monster? It has a weird flap of skin on its stomach and everything... eugh, what purpose does that serve? This child is a true hermaphrodite with no visible secondary sex characteristics, and its odd face and ridged tail are such an odd mix of... what? Its ridged tail is heavier than one would expect and can deliver quite a hefty smack if need be.

It was born as a full adult, approximately 23 years old, and has knowledge of the world around it with an odd, shaky attitude. It is aware of what it did to its parent... and seems oddly aloof to it, though the gore has certainly shaken it. Its heavy antlers are hollow and weigh very little, but are also brittle and could shatter in a fight.

Abilities

- Basic Magical Ability -
It can act charismatic and persuasive at times, whether or not it actually has the natural charm and grace to pull it off.

- Moderate Magical Ability -
When activated, it can decipher up to two languages of the player's choosing. These languages are in addition to the common tongue and the Diamond house language.

- Strong Magical Ability -
When activated, it can cast a lie-detector spell on a Card of the Suit of Hearts and of a Rank lesser or equal to its own, once per day. Cards of equal Rank would be aware of the spell, but Cards of lesser Rank would not.

- Powerful Magical Ability -
When activated, it can fly for up to one hour. Winged Diamonds can use this ability for effortless, perfectly controlled flight.

- Jack's Ability -
Once per week, it can think of another Card it is well acquainted with and mutter the phrase "gifted minds think alike". For the next five minutes, it is effectively trapped inside that person's consciousness, sharing all of their senses and hearing their surface thoughts. It cannot move and is in fact not aware of its own body for the duration of this spell, so it had best stash it somewhere safe! The person must be within one mile of its body for this spell to work.

- King's Ability -
Once a week, it is able to cause an incredible surge of helplessness to fill a victim ranked Jack or less for a full hour. Though they can still try to fight, they will feel as thought their limbs are made of putty and their minds are racing as though they are trying to escape from something terrible. Any powers they have they can use, but many give up because what good is it?!
Abilities ranked 6 and under (or 25p or less) will have no effect on Morgan during this time.

- Queen's Ability -
Once a week, it is able to cause another person to become rooted to the ground, literally, for a full 2 minutes. During this time, their feet painfully burst through whatever footwear they may have on and they literally take root in whatever floor they're standing on. They can try to hack through them, but that risks permanent damage to their actual foot... they should realize that when the blood starts spurting from the roots...

- Frame of Mind -
Once a week, it can cause anyone ranked 8 and under to forget something they've seen in the past 5 minutes. They will forget it completely and not get that tiny memory back, ever.

- Thick Bonds -

These old, discarded Torque bindings look like heavy, iron bracelets, each weighing ten pounds. When touched, they clamp immediately onto the four limbs of the victim and seal themselves. There is no crack in the metal and no hole for a key.

The bonds cause a sense of extreme depression once a week for half an hour, wherein the victim is assaulted by the thoughts of everything bad, embarrassing, and cruel, they have ever done and an overwhelming sense of guilt for it... even if they are not the type to normally care about guilt, it will affect them. Once a week, they are able to project this feeling of depression (though this does not rid them of it), and have it consume another person along with them for a full 3 hours.

- Spinal Pieces -

Eeew, these bits of spinal column are... well... certainly big enough to have come from a Card... Let's just say it was an Ace, right? They tingle when touched and seem otherwise unremarkable. An hour after touching them, the victim will find their neck growing stiff and painful. One hour further and their neck will lose any and all mobility, fixing itself in a straight-ahead pose and never again moving from the pose. It will slowly stop hurting over the course of the day, and as the Card gets used to it, it will become "normal", if annoying.

The day after the curse set in, they will find that it also came with a bit of a blessing. Once a week, they are now able to whisper"break". This will cause any SD they focus on to suddenly jerk to a halt before them and go limp, collapsing to the ground as they lose control of their body. When the caster raises their hands, so will the new victim rise like a puppet on strings. Using their hands, the caster can then move their opponent, albeit badly and jerkily, about the 50 foot area around them for a full minute, causing them to bumble, get in the way, and be a right pain. When the spell ceases, the victim will be pained, achy, and not in control of their own left foot for another full hour.
