As fast as she could the little leveret flew, distress so thick about the poor creature that one could practically feel it. She was a bright little thing, a vibrant ball of sunset fur scrambling along fast enough that she often tripped or stumbled along the way. Finally, mid-dash and panting, the sweet bundle of plush fur managed to trample one of her own lengthy ears. Not only did the fudge-up illicit a shrill, starled squeel of pain... but oh poor Laurelin, she finally took a real tumble and went feet over cotton tail across the grass. And well, it was the last straw for the distressed girl. Quivering with worry, and tears already welling in her great expressive eyes, the girl simply started bawling. Working hard was expected of a leveret. Everyone in a warren had to earn their place! But why was it always so hard? The does were so different in this new warren than in her father's, and it puzzled her how they could say such nasty things! They tugged on her draping ears, told her how ugly they were. Nanny had always said her lop ears made her beautiful and would make the does jealous, but she hadn't said that they'd make them mean! By now her tears were leaving trails down her bright crimson cheeks, the girl absolutely trembling as she laid in a splay on her golden belly. She'd only be in more trouble for stopping, but when she took time to be careful she was too slow.. and when she truly hurried she'd trip over those long ears of hers. No matter what she did, it seemed it wouldn't be good enough!

[OOC: She doesn't have a warren yet >.>; not really anyway...I need to talk with people before I place her Xd...but yeah...we'll just say she belonged to a different warren before this...>.>;] She needed to get out for a smoke...dear suits how she needed to get out for a smoke. She could feel her joints clicking as she moved, never a good sign, and while she was already a bit stoned from before, it was fading quickly...and soon the clicking would become far more sinister then just a strange sensation. It would become unbarible, and she wouldn't be able to move. She couldn't risk being caught. But then again, going out for a smoke might be a bit of a death sentence as well. Why did that jack ass of a Jack have to trade her to a place that looked down upon smoking? Couldn't he at least have been merciful and trade her to another Midori Jack? She wondered mildly if her new jack would even care if she returned. After all, he barely seemed to recognize her as she ran errands around the warren. It was a rather large one. She wondered if he would even notice she was gone. She laughed a bit to herself. Maybe she could run back to Midori. At the very least, if she wasn't caught by another Jack and forced back to work for them again, she could get some of the good stuff. The weed that grew around here wasn't nearly as potent. Not nessesarily bad...but well...it wore off quickly...and that wasn't good for her joints... She sat down to roll herself something, when suddenly she heard the sounds of another...crying? Her ears drooped. Oh suits...what if they were from the warren? She looked around, and despite the bright colors of the Morganberry...she didn't see the other leveret...and decided it might be best to make a bit of a run for it. Slowly she began moving away...but when she looked back over her shoulder she did about the dumbest thing she possibly could have...she tripped over a root, her face splatting against the ground....NOW she felt an extreme amount of pain. The fall had sobered her up enough...as well as aggrevated her poor joints... "BUMBACLOT!" she shouted and she grabbed her legs up into fetal position from the pain in all her joints. Now she had tears coming from her eyes...but she made no noise other then that... Her goose was pretty much cooked...she gritted her teeth.

As much of a baby as Laur may be, she was terribly soft-hearted. Her ear may still be throbbing from where one of her big old feet landed on it, but her sobs were founded entirely in self-pity. The howl of another young voice in pain cuts her abruptly short, no more than sniffling as she works on getting back to her pretty goldenrod feet.
"H-hello?" she calls, tentative hops taken now and again as she peers about. Blessedly, she was more aware than the nearby company, and while greens blended in with the grass- pinks certainly didn't! Giving her head a shake to toss back her long, multi-hued ears, Laurelin gets to the stranger's side at a rapid scamper. She hadn't a thing in the world against other leverets, and hovering there she'd twitch her whikers in worry.
"Are you okay?" A daft question, but pretty standard process when it came to trying to help someone who may be severely hurt. "Is there anything I can do to help?" Not wanting to be invasive, but at the same time wanting to show a bit of support, she'll finally set a paw on her fellow's shoulder.

She knew the other had heard her before the other had a chance to reply back, still she made no other noise or movement. Maybe the other creature would think they were hearing things. No such luck, however, as the sounds of a small creature began making their way towards the crippled Midori. Wandalyn did her best to take deep breaths, trying to sooth the fire that raged throughout her entire body. What was she going to say as an excuse? She had no clue as the pain took over her. Suits...what had she gotten herself into....
"Nah, gurl..." she said between gritted teeth, her Midori accent thick despite the fact her mouth hardly moved. She opened a bloodshot eye to view up at the other leveret. What pretty colors, she thought, and loop ears. Surely a doe in training. How screwed was she? "Dun tell nahone ya seen me 'ere...Dat be plenty 'elpfal." she said as she slowly began to try to pick herself up...looking at the leveret, "Ya gots a warren round 'ere gurl?" she asked a bit as she rubbed her knees vigorously...though it was more then her knees hurting at this point...

Taking a half-step back to give the... oh my, stoned? Personal disapproval aside, she gives the pain-crippled bun room enough to stand. She'll even offer her a paw, should she need it.
"OH- of course... I mean, you wouldn't tell anyone I was crying, right?" She was just assuming she'd heard, of course. Meanwhile, self-conciously, she scrubs at one of her damp cheeks. "I mean... the does. They say I'm lazy. I don't want them to scold me.... They say if I keep being lazy they'll tell our jack...." What a hideous situation, and she just babbles nervously about it while Wand tries to get her joints soothed.
"Nearby? Oh- no. They sent me out to find some of the fall fruits. One of the does... she's uhm... pregnant. And she insisted she had to have them- even though it's getting to be late in the season for them. It's just... just a long run." All this said while she circles the other, eyes on the grass for any lost belongings she might retrieve and offer back.

Wandalyn wouldn't need help getting up, besides, she was never good about admitting how weak she actually was. She looked at the rabbit again, her ears perking. So...this leveret had something to hide as well it seemed. Well, maybe she wasn't as screwed as she thought she was. "I-yah wan be tellin nahone." she said very matter of factly. If she had secrets to keep...she saw no reason in blabbing other peoples out.
When she spoke of the does in her warren, she frowned slightly. What horrible rabbits they sounded like. Though...she supposed...that if anyone knew about her joints...they could lord over her with that to...rabbits didn't seem above blackmailing...and she couldnt really feel one way or another about it. That was just the way things were. "Wha fruz ya be lookin far? I dun see nuh fruz round 'ere." she sighed a bit and looked around at the trees, ground. Nope...no fruits.
The little leveret might find a small baggy filled with what could only be some of Midori's finest...and a couple of rolling papers. Wandalyn gave a small smile and gathered it up, she knew how people in these parts felt about such things.

Blessedly, Laurelin hadn't the conviction to hold a habit against someone. And even her dislike of the habit may be waived were she away of the poor midori's condition.
"Well.... it's a long run." she offers by way of explanation. Besides, her situation wasn't an unreasonable one. Does often became jealous of the attentions of their jack, especially so when there were a good number of them already. And well, Laurelin really didn't look like she was bound for the life of a leveret.
"So uh... I'm already going to be late. Might as well rest my legs, I suppose." It didn't keep her from looking horrendously nervous, but the chance of her consenting to a smoke to relax was pretty low.
(Off for the morning <3 Will post when I get up)
