Mia just rose an eyebrow. "Not supposed to be here? Where the hell else am I supposed to go to sleep, a couch in the library?" He asked facetiously, disgusted that he was bothering to have any semblance of a conversation with this stupid man.
At the second comment, though, his anger began to take a better grip on him. His ears flattened down and his glare intensified, and he found his arms twitching in an effort to not bone-spike the stupid weasel to death. "Better than you do," He bit out, then rubbed a paw along his arm just to feel the bone wanting to lash out. It hurt like hell when it did, but it was so worth it..
The ferret laughed, harshly. "Nothing you can have to say to me is important. Stop insulting my intelligence and get the fuck out of here before this room explodes. I heard the fight you had with Saethre didn't end well... and I can ensure you I have much better fighting skills than she. Leave."

Christopher raised his eyebrows. What was wrong with this bloody Lowlander? What made him think he could get away with prancing around in the dark coming into people's rooms? Was he dropped on his head as a child or was he just born stupid? The fur on the back of the canine's neck rose slightly.
And then to his great surprise Mia spoke and actually sounded furious. This was a rare occasion indeed, considering that Mia never really was the type of person to get angry.
Apparently this Lowlander was worse than he thought. He looked to Mia briefly before turning back to look at the Lowlander. "I know Mia enough to understand that he's not joking and that he is more than capable of handling someone like you. So please leave before you get hurt. I highly doubt anything is important enough to risk your life for. If it was, you would have been a real man and wouldn't have broken in."

You used to not sleep at night ....
This wasn't going well, in fact it was more then just a bit annoying, but he did nothing more then let his ears twitch back and cross his arms. He paused for a moment, tail twitching in thought as they both continued to try and 'convince' him to leave. Well, there wasn't really many options here... but he'd let the ferret choose between the two that seemed the best.
Look Dysthymia, this is in regards to Aphasia and we can either talk about it now ... or I'll just come back another time until things are discussed.
It felt so very odd for the mixed realm's full name to slip off his tongue, he'd used it so rarely in the past, but it seemed like the right sort of thing here. One of his ears twitched in Christopher's direction but, really, the canine held none of his present interest.

Mia had no real facial response to that; what, exactly, could one say to that? "I used to not sleep at all." Was all he managed through the disgusted look that finally permeated his brain's confusion. All he wanted to do was get the stupid rat out of his room and go back to bed.. Ugh.
"Aphasia. Really." He said flatly, not believing it for a moment. "I saw him less than two hours ago. He was fine. Unless you've poisoned him and are here to turn yourself in, I can't imagine what you have to tell me about him. I'm his brother. I know more about him than you, the stupid creature he chooses to share his bed with, could ever hope to know." The ferret was getting quite frustrated with how long it was taking to throw him out, and didn't particularly want to resort to physical means. It was messy, and he'd probably break things. He liked his vases where they were, intact.

Christopher was utterly speechless as he listened to the conversation. Things were not making sense. Perhaps it was because he was tired? Perhaps it was because there was a strange gay Lowlander in the room? Perhaps he had simply gone brain dead because of all those papers and this was a nightmare.
He wished the last one was true, because it would make the most amount of sense. However he knew better than that. "Look," Christopher growled as he rubbed the sleep out of his eyes. "It really isn't that difficult of a concept to grasp. Mia clearly wants you out of the room, as do I. So get the hell out. Talk in the morning after everyone has had a well rested sleep. Or not. I don't really care. This is just bloody ridiculous."
He was half tempted to throw the covers over himself and sleep anyway. However he didn't want to be stabbed or anything. The Lowlander may have been "well dressed" in some dimension, but he was still a Lowlander. Why was Mia even bothering to converse with him?

He bit back the urge to roll his eyes at his former friend's explanation. Well, duh .... of course the otter hadn't asked him verbally to do this ... it was different. It was one of those things he just knew and couldn't explain why. And ... damn-it it all to the marsh and back he wanted to make his otter happy. His tail stiffened a bit but otherwise he kept a good hold on his growing frustration.
He didn't ask me in words, it's just something ... implied. Listen ... we're both important to him and it's a strain on him how we are ...
In all honesty he was still bitter about the ferret and what had happened, that was definitely an overreaction to what had happened. After all, who'd been the most forceful at the end of that night? It certainly hadn't been him, a certain ferret took control of that. But that was then and this was now....
And damn it all if that canine wasn't really getting on his nerves. It would be more then just a little satisfying to shove his tail as far up one of his nostrils as he possibly could. But, again, definitely wouldn't help the situation.
Look, I came to ask for a truce in his name and that's all. Ignoring is fine, just no more hostility. If you care about your brother at all, you'll consider it.
