I'm being lazy and using the same Hiatus thread. <3
Hey everyone. >_> I had a rather nasty allergic reaction so my eye is swollen. It's difficult to actually concentrate on words without having double vision. It's a small reaction so if I'm careful I should be fine in a few days. Until then however, I might not be capable of posting. Just wanted to let you guys know.

A very unfortunate thing happened in my family today. Just last week we were informed that my oldest sister, Beverly, was ill. Nothing could be done by the doctors. My father and niece went to see her before she passed away... they didn't make it. They were stuck in traffic when my other sister, Joanne, called them. I received a text shortly after that about what happened.
My father and niece are currently in NY, I haven't received any updates since the text. I'm more than a little upset about everything, and I needed to put this somewhere.
Well. The only updated I received is Dad and my niece intend to leave at 7pm and that things were "taken care of." Not sure what to say about that, besides the fact that I'm still upset.

Kari... I don't really know what to say that will make everything better, but I am sorry for your loss and hope that the hurt heals quickly. I hope that Otakon will be your silver lining. *hugs if you want them*

So to top the cake, I'm quite sick and may have caught a cold from Baltimore. (Runny nose, sore throat, overheating at the drop of a hat). And things are still... off. But until I'm coherent I'm probably not going to be posting. <3
