(pre tickets! lol She's hanging around a 'square' in a residential area that has a few shops. She's looking out into the square (large intersection of sorts)) Evaline was frustrated. No matter how hard she looked, she just couldn't come up with a solution to make her. . . 'problem'. . better. She sniffled, clearing her nose a little from the ever present sulphurous blood that dripped from it. Her glassy black eyes surveyed the area around her and she sighed a little, some of the frustration leaving her body. She loved it here in the Capital, almost as much as she loved it back home. Secretely she was an avid people watcher, finding the daily routine of many to be absolutely fascinating. The young cat honestly wondered how people managed to find so much useless stuff to do with their time, and look so happy about doing it. Picking a nearby raised planter she sat, slowly letting herself calm down. Eva had dealt with this oddness her entire life and she wasn't about to let it get her down now. No point really. A gentle smile touched her lips and she settled in. What a nice afternoon.

There was something about coming to the Capital that put Davy in great spirits. He loved the Beach, of course, but there were always things here that couldn't be found back home. Exotic spices, and different liquors! Though, at his age, he was not allowed to buy them himself. Bah! He had little tolerance for the drinking age in this town; he almost always had to get his mother to go in and buy it for him. It was funny that she even agreed to do it, considering her own aversion of the substance. In his wanderings, he found himself moving away from the main hustle and bustle of the Capital and moved into a more residential area. Children were at play in a small park further down the way, most of them much younger than the teenage lad. In a square across the way of the park, an interesting Corvie was seated, idly watching passers-by. He might not have even acknowledged the girl had he not noticed her bleeding as he drew closer. "Migad! Are ye alright, lass? Yer bleeding'!" He'd clearly done a double take when he noticed, and was genuinely concerned. Had she been mugged? Beaten up? It seemed totally unlikely considering the part of town they were in.

What a gorgeous day. Evaline was honestly enjoying herself now, what with the birds ahead making the prettiest noises and the sun heating her side with a happy warmth. Indeed she caught herself wanting to doze, her eyes closing bit by bit the warmer she got. Shaking her head, Evaline woke herself up a bit as she didn't want to fall asleep in public. Even in a place like this, that was just inviting trouble. She noticed the Midorian ( lol) coming closer. She had always found their colours and webbed toes extremely interesting, and pretty. Though she hadn't really gotten the chance to talk to one before. Father had told her of their accents when she asked about them once. . . then told her to get back to studying. She smiled a bit at this memory when she realized the teenage boy was talking to her. It took a second for the words to register and be realized before she responded. "Oh no no! I'm okay honestly. I'm just, like this. Sorry if I startled you." She hesitantly checked under her nose with a paw before dropping her head a bit and smiling shyly at him. She was blushing, it was always so embarassing when her issue got her attention like this.

Davy stared at the girl, and then looked around, truly unsure of how to proceed. Had he… embarrassed the girl? He tilted his head to the side and gave the girl a look that very much told of his conflict of whether he should believe her or not.
"Ya sure? Iffen you got a boyfriend dat's doin' this to you, I can go kick his arse right here and now." His expression broke into a small grin.
But she'd said that she was just 'like this'. A mutation? Hell, for all he knew, maybe this was a common one for Corvies; they were always such a weird lot. And this one was certainly weird, with her cowlicked hair and impressive set of claws. And the constant bleeding…
He was staring again, and he blushed, rubbing the back of his neck with a webbed paw. "Ah… sorry. Didn't mean to put ye out on the like dat."

Evaline tilted her head, mirroring him. Then broke into a cheerful laugh at his comment and smile. Hah! What a wonderful surprise to randomly run into this person.
"No no, nothing like that. I'm Evaline by-the-by." She grinned warmly, but refrained from extending a paw for obvious reasons.
"And thank you, it was sweet of you to ask if I was okay." She paused awkwardly for a moment, social interactions weren't exactly her forte unless she was talking about scholarly matters. But when would she get a better chance to work on this part of herself? After all, the boy had proven himself a friendly sort.
"What brings you to the Capital today?" Her tail swished back and forth idly, her upset at her strangeness momentarily forgotten. Yes, time to break out of her shell. She smiled again to assure him that yes, she was okay.

Davy couldn't help but puff his chest out just slightly at being called 'sweet'. It was something that annoyed him when adults said it, but coming from a pretty girl closer to his age, he found he certainly didn't mind it so much.
"Davy." He quickly offered, making a motion as if to offer his hand to shake, but instantly realizing that was unwise. He laughed very much like a young fool would at such a folly, retracting his hand to instead run his claws through the beard on his chin, his grin perpetually good-natured.
"Oh, well, just decided to take my dear old mama out for some shopping, carry her groceries and such…" He remarked nonchalantly, leaning against a convenient lamp post for added coolness effect. "Oh, lets not be kiddin' ourselves. Me ma was coming into town and I bummed a carriage ride and she gave me some coin saying, 'Now Davy, don' ya wander off too far now, m'dear'." His voice lilted up into what could be assumed was his mother's voice. Yeah, he was a bit of a mama's boy. At least he wasn't in denial about it… or something.
