Whoa! That item sure did a number on this boy! How beautiful! However odd this load of mutations may be, this boy pulled them off well and is the epitome of a Highland beauty. The rarity of such a collection of mutations all together make him look exotic and add some mysticism to him, almost...a draconic look, you know? Like a lovely story-book collection of oddities. He has the uncanny knack to breathe beautiful golden flames that shimmer in an agonizingly lovely fashion rather than burn, and those tail spikes pack a mild poison that makes people hiccup uncontrollably for 10 seconds.

Canines are the most common breed type in the realm; they live everywhere and are exceedingly adaptable. They generally tend toward looking like wolves, domesticated dogs, and foxes.

Felines[/b]
Felines are a common breed. They are found everywhere you look and their lifestyles make it easy for them to stretch themselves to the furthest reaches of the kingdoms. Not to be confused with the Court of Cats (who are the size of a house cat), the Felines of the realm are about the size of tigers and range from sleek Siamese to bulky alley cats in shape.

Highlands[/b]
Residents are usually white with swirls of gold and red slash-like markings. Some can have either one marking or the other instead of both, but that is a rare happening.

Many consider the Highlands to be the most beautiful Realm in the world to date. Lush, rolling meadows, rich fields, thin stretches of forest, distant mountains, and quaint brooks make the Highlands one of the most respected and idolized Realms in which to work and trade. The residents of the Highlands tend to hold themselves in equally high regard and they are often respected, no matter the rank, if that is where they hail from. It is rumored that those from the Highlands are destined for greatness, and they are often groomed from birth to think so. The Highlands actually border the Courts and even overlap a bit into the Court of Hearts. Many have regarded the Hearts Court as the Highland Court for quite some time, though others have ruled there. Those of the Highlands rarely leave and will often sneer at the thought of breeding with anything other than another Highlander, though they have been known to deign to make love to Avingtons and Yarrows without too much fuss. Highlanders tend to despise those who hail from the Lowlands, as indeed many do, with nearly as much hatred as the Josggiy Marsh dwellers, despising the vague tie to them as “counterparts”.
