Notes[/b]
This awkward, yet rather pretty mix of a child is able to hover about 5 feet off the ground laboriously with its tiny wings, but it is unable to fly as its sister can. It appears sickly and awkward, something wrong with its lovely Selkie coat...the yellow rings and brown stains...especially those under the eye that smell of ink, aren't something that ought to have come from either Realm of its parents. The child will always be prone to illness and has brittle bone disease, making it incredibly easy for broken limbs to occur, so they should be quite careful.
A true neuter, the poor thing has a complete absence of any sexual organs caused by the sickness that makes its eyes leak ink, Yarrows will probably still accept it as it most closely resembles a female, but it has no true assignable gender and no reproductive inner organs, making it impossible for it to breed.
The child was born as a fully-functioning 16 year old, with an average knowledge of the world and culture around it, but a rather incredible knowledge and thirst for discovery in the field of mathematics.
Basic Magical Ability[/b]
It can act charismatic and persuasive at times, whether or not it actually has the natural charm and grace to pull it off.
Moderate Magical Ability[/b]
When activated, it can decipher up to two languages of the player's choosing. These languages are in addition to the common tongue and the Diamond house language.
Strong Magical Ability[/b]
When activated, it can cast a lie-detector spell on a card of any suit and of a rank lesser or equal to her own, once per day. Cards of equal rank would be aware of the spell, but cards of lesser rank would not
Hoofed Mammals[/b]
The Hoofed Mammals are a bit harder to find about the countryside than some of the other breeds. They tend to stay away from watery Realms and favor hard-packed ground over which they are excellent sprinters. They are usually in the forms of deer, horses, and gazelles, though others have been spotted.
Birds[/b]
Birds are seen fairly often across the Realms. They are a far cry from hard to find, yet slightly rarer than a Feline or Canine. They are usually found outside of the Marshes, which they tend to despise, and will often roost in the Highlands until chased out by the residents. Birds can be anything from predatory to a common sparrow.
Durum Veldt[/b]
To come.
Selkie Lakes[/b]
Residents are usually white with pale blues and greens rippling across their bodies. They often have feathered feet and tails.
The Selkie Lakes are well known for supplying most of the clean water to the rest of the realms. Lush and somewhat damp, the residents are rumored to be a bit dim, but their trading skills certainly aren't. The members of the Selkie Lakes are thought to be a slow, cheery bunch who laze about constantly, though many residents would prove that stereotype wrong. While the ability to be astoundingly lazy is, for the most part, true, it is only due to the abundance of trade materials in and around the land. Fish, aquatic plants, and clear water itself are chief exports. They are easy for the residents to get and pawn off to other realms for insane prices. The beauty of the residents is sometimes dulled by their rough manner and stocky, muscled bodies, but the feathery fur still inspires a sense of grace and they are good at their jobs. They are highly accepting of others and are often found moving jobs around to other Realms and trying to incorporate others into their own lines. They find difference somewhat exotic and many will seek out mates who are from other places to bring home.
