Bored ... that was the perfect word to describe how he was feeling. Why was everyone in the house asleep now? Didn't make a lick of sense to him ... but it did mean he'd have to find a way to entertain himself. Carefully he got up onto all four feet and moved through the house as quietly as having two hooves aloud and then slipped out into the crisp night air. He peered around the garden with his ears perked, everything always looked the same .... unless it was raining or it was windy. how.... boring. Well, there was one place that wasn't always the same... the Capitol. He never did understand why his parents lived on the outskirts, all the action was in the city it's self! She watched him from her sleeping space and sighed softly as she heard the front door click. It was the middle of the night .... what could her brother possibly be doing slipping out of the house? Didn't he know the difference yet? After a quick stretch and some slinking of her own, she slipped out as well. She was lucky the moon was bright tonight, otherwise she wouldn't have been able to make out the shape of her brother in the darkness. Where was he going? When he arrived in the capital his mood dropped ... really, it was dead here to? What was going on? Huffing to himself he decided to make the most of it ... and, aha! There was something that might prove to be interesting and noisy enough to perhaps bring everyone out of hiding. With his good mood renewed he trotted to the alleyway that had caught his attention and, there ... brand new, metal trashcans. They didn't even have any dents yet! Perfect. The mixed breed hopped up onto his hind limbs and knocked the cans over and dumped the little bit of trash they had in them before turning around and kicking them with his hooves. Yantai's eyes widened in horror when she heard, rather then saw, what her brother was doing. She rushed over to him and grabbed his tail in her mouth, giving it a good tug. Are you insane? It's the middle of the night, you're going to wake the whole neighborhood this way!

Lethe would've been pissed if she'd known he was sneaking out again but ever since he'd stumbled into that underground club... well, he'd become more than fond of the City nightlife. Why didn't awesome things like that come out in the day? It had taken getting lost (thanks to a 'helpful' Card who had offered him 'directions', to the city dump. Guh!) to stumble upon the run down basement. This evening, Tybalt was looking for it again as the problem with finding something when one was lost was that they were never quite sure where it was the second time around. Blast it all. Turning a corner, Tybalt was just in time to see a trashcan go sailing over his head and smash into the wall nearby. Holy hell! What was that!?! By the time he swung around to face the source of the commotion there was already someone else there, tugging at ... was that a Gryphon!? Tybalt couldn't see anything in this dark, but he was intrigued. Closer now, he could pick up the dark blemish of a Club against his green feathers, not to mention he had hooves instead of paws. There was a word for that creature and it wasn't a gryphon, but still an interesting Avington... and something about the shouting chick reminded him a whole lot of Vesper? The face? Whatever. "Hey Gryphon, nice kick." He grinned wolfishly.

It is?
The mix gazed curiously around him for a moment ... if it was night, why did it look the same? The colors .... everything ... wasn't there supposed to be a ... difference? He peered further up at the sky and, well, he saw nothing. The city wasn't exactly the best place to see the stars and the walls of buildings hid the moon from him. He shrugged and was about to attack the trashcans again when another voice caught his attention. Aha! The brutalization of the metal cans did bring someone out!
He flashed his sister a defiant look, puffed out his chest and turned his gaze back to the wolf, grinning.
Thanks! It's unnatural for a trashcan not to have any dents ... they needed a little... fixing.
Yantai shook her head and sighed. Why, oh why, was her brother an impossible brick head? And what sort of person did he attract this time? She peered over at the wolf suspiciously ... his facial features vaguely familiar but she couldn't pinpoint why.

Tybalt's grin remained firmly in place. Yeah, this was a cool kid he'd stumbled on! He didn't know many people who were as fond of destroying inanimate objects as he was - Vesper was close, but she preferred hitting people to trashcans. His half-tail wagged enthusiastically.
"Ha! My sentiments exactly! The more crushed the can the better." ...And he didn't have anything to say about his rank yet? Even better. Clubs were usually a bit more lenient around him, usually. For now he'd keep on his guard despite the current friendly tone. "My name's Tybalt. What brings you two out here? This isn't the most kid-friendly area after dark." Not that this stopped Tybs, but it was definitely surprising to see a peer this evening.
His gaze wandered back to the long-legged deer-rat and he raised a brow thoughtfully. Whatever weird familiarity around her would sort itself out eventually, or not. She wasn't exactly his primary interest this evening.

They'd been raised to ignore things such as rank, suit and region, what with their parents being a Jack of Clubs and a Four of Hearts, so his low rank just didn't even click. Mozi liked this guy though, even if he did insist it was after dark, whatever that meant. He was totally done trying ot sort out the differences in this day and night, light and dark subject. Screw it, it obviously wasn't super important.
I'm Emozione and this is my sister, Yantai.. Mozi and Tai if you'd prefer.
He was well aware all of their names were quite a mouthful. Where on earth had their parents gotten these oddball names from anyhow? His parents were definitely odd, that was for sure.
I got bored and needed some different scenery then the garden and the house ... boring. Everyone else was asleep, at least I thought so.
His gray gaze slipped over to his sister, who short him a frown, before he turned his attention back to the wolf type kid before them.
Yantai wished her brother was a little more mellow and a little less, well, him sometimes. He was full of impatience, energy and boldness that she really thought he shouldn't have yet. At the very least he could stay still for an hour maybe? Maybe? Well, she could hope he'd mellow out someday at the very least.
And I followed him so he wouldn't get into any trouble. What about you? why are you here if it's bad?

Tybalt bobbed his head as he listened to the introductions and explanations. Emozione and Yantai, huh? Those were odd mouthfuls, but Tybalt kept his opinion to himself for once -- this kid seemed fairly cool, and he didn't want to burn his bridges just yet. Besides, Mozi and Tai were much more acceptable so obviously they were aware of their weirdness.
"Nice ta meet ya both."
He paused when Tai asked her question. It was a good one and one that he didn't really have a valid explanation for. At least, not an adult-appropriate one. Obviously, though, these weren't adults and it wasn't as if they could tattle on him. Like they'd know his dad. He shrugged vaguely, glancing around the alley.
"I was trying to find an awesome club I stumbled on not too long ago, but I don't know the area well enough to find it again. I figure I'll find it sooner or later.. They play pretty loud music, so it's not hard to find if you're in the right alley." He wrinkled his nose, tilting his head in hopes of hearing music somewhere... but alas, nothing.
