Okay, I had a couple questions brewing in my mind this morning. I tried seeking out the answers on my own..but with no success. So, halp? :3
01. Poisons. Poisons are mentioned often in play on these boards and I was wondering if there were specific types of poisons that are commonly seen in the world? Are there region-specific ingredients for each poison? I was also curious on how a card would come into possession of these ingredients. For example, could I RP Ercole travelling to a region in hopes of obtaining ingredients for his poisons and maybe the chance of a successful harvest relies on a dice roll, or would things like these be available from traders and shop keeps?
02. Profiles! Ho my gosh, there have been so many events that have shaped each and every one of the cards on this board and a newbie like myself is easily overwhelmed by all of the past references. I was wondering if it would be possible (in the future) that each member could kind of maintain a journal or an event log of sorts on the wiki?

Chou, I LOVE your idea of having profiles for everyone. Some of the Dealers have little "personality blurbs" on their Cards profiles, but I would absolutely do a profile/journal on Wiki. I think that's a fantastic idea, especially after the whole Ticket Contest thing. It would also help with questions like, how did Brokat become what he is? How is it that Pale has 80 children? How did that crazy Midori lady get wings in human form? So yes, I will definitely participate.  |

I think the journal is a good idea for those who would like to maintain one, but certainly not something for everyone.
The Character Profiles that are already set up are meant to hold that sort of information and it seems a bit... more complex than necessary to have two separate logs when, I think, if people aren't already keeping track of that they probably just don't have the time to?

Eh, yeah. I have trouble updating my own point records ::cough:: so a journal might be a little much. Although if you sent me a pm? I would happily throw info about anyone you wanted to know about at you <3

Actually, very good point, Kitty! I really need to second that. If you (or anyone else for that matter) ever have any questions for me or about my characters, I'd be more than happy to fill you in personally or point you to threads or fics or anything. ^_^ Also, for referential purposes, most dealers have formspring accounts for general question asking so it'd be good to check them out: decadentsuits.proboards.com/index.cgi?board=qanda&action=display&thread=6091 |

All good points. It could be an optional thing - just to give some relief to newcomers. All of the threads and the sub-forums in the Dealer Records forums can be scary at first! Kitty & Vyn: Thank you so much! Those formsprings will be a great help to me! |

If people want to create profiles for their characters on the wiki, I would certainly encourage it. <3 The more others know about them, the more likely they are to get attached / want to play with them / understand the world / etc. Anyone who has the inkling to do so, please feel free! |

Dude, I didn't even know about the FormSpring thing!!! I just added my page to that thread. <3 I'm kind of curious about the poisons question as well. Lariel might need to get her hands on a few of those in the future for a client.  |
