The small leveret sat quietly staring at her paws. Her black lop ears twitched as she thought hard, moving her paws back and forth. If she had bangles like her sister, they'd be jingling right now. But no, she didn't have any jewelery, just her binding. She twitched her toes this way and that, frowning in concentration. Dafina stood with her concentration and worked on moving one leg at a time, trying to get her muscles to move how she wanted. Finally she gave up with a sigh. She wasn't even entirely sure what it was she was attempting to do. The small girl looked around the Warren with a tilted head before getting up and moving down the hall towards Ayanna's room. She was bored, and wanted to play. Her little fluffy tail twitched happily behind her as she made her way through the halls.

The little doe had buried herself in a nest of sheets and was pretending it wasn't daytime .... or anytime that she actually needed to be awake for. It was comfortable here, and nestled within the mass, well... it was dark to. She wiggled her quadruple-colored body a bit more and found that oh so comfy spot that just made you wanna stay in bed forever. Then, just as she was on the verge of sleep, she heard a noise at her door. One black and purple ear rose, the only thing not hidden under the sheet, and tilted toward her door before she called out, her voice muffled by her cloth wrap. Come in! She kept her ear perked and trained for the door to try and discern who it was as they were entering ... she knew everyone's steps rather well and she was certain it wasn't father ... he had a heavier step then anyone else. So it was probably her mother of sister ... she just needed to be certain. Guess who was still a pretty fun game at this age.

A little velvet nose peeked around the corner of the door and sniffed curiously. She wasn't sure if her sister was awake or not yet, but the voice that called out confirmed it. Dafina wiggled her way through the doorway and bounded into the room.
"AYA! We should play Aya I'm bored."
A small whine at the end of her voice lingered. She knew her sister was a Doe, and therefore above her in some ways. But they were the only children in the Warren and it just wasn't as fun playing with the adult leverets, or mother. And father just didn't play at all, but he was interesting to talk to all the same.
Her tail wiggled more, hoping that her sister was up for a few games and the top of her lop ears perked in hopeful joy. Finally something to do. If she didn't get a response soon she was ready to leap onto the bed and tackle her sister to get one.

The light, excited steps could be no other member of the Warren but her sister ... only the tiniest of paws could make those. Her ear stayed perked long enough to hear her sister's plea before it flopped down against her cushy casing. She made a point of wiggling in the most aggressive manner she could to bury herself further inside, her ear disappearing in the mass of cloth. This only made her voice even more muffled then it had been before.
But 'Fina... I don't want to get up!
She let her voice trail off into a whine as well, she just didn't have the same get up and go attitude as her sibling today and my was her little 'cave' cozy. She closed her eyes, figuring the conversation was over since she couldn't see her pure Torquehelm sibling poised for a pounce... she couldn't see her at all really. Now it was time to get in a mid-morning nap ....

Dafina frowned, hard. Her little face wrinkling into deep furrows. She didn't understand, it was the middle of the day! How could Ayanna not want to do something? She hunkered down before springing through the air. She still somewhat missed the edge of the bed and was left scrabbling to finish pulling her small body up onto the soft surface. Much softer than her bed, she noticed absently.
"I don't care, I'm bored."
Dafina padded over the bed softly before prodding her lump of a sister lightly with a paw.
"Please? I'll brush your hair if you play with me."
It was a plea that had worked in the past, hopefully it would work again.
"I'll even rebraid it!"
She wiggled down into the bedding herself, nuzzling up closer to her sister in a rather pathetic begging manner. Her tail thumped softly on the bed before stilling as she waited.

Her ears twitched as she heard the thud that was her sister colliding with her bed, the sounds that followed letting her know that Dafina hadn't quite made the perfect landing on the soft surface. She closed her eyes tightly ... perhaps if she ignored her sibling hard enough... she'd go away and let her nap. That, of course, was never the case ... but she could certainly try.
She remained still through the pawing, pleading and bargaining ... all things she could easily ignore. However, the last little bit, the part where she snuggled up against the ball of sheets in an almost defeated manner, was what got to her .... she could just imagine what the little leveret's face looked like and it tugged a bit of guilt out of her.
She let out a hefty sigh before wiggling just enough to make it possible for her to poke her head out of her cocoon.
What exactly are we going to play then?

Her face lit with joy when she saw her sister's face peek from under the covers. Quickly she moved forward nosing at Aya's face in appreciation and smiled at the small doe.
"I don't know! We could go through the gardens and weed. Or we could play hop scotch on the stones out back. Oh! We could probably find some frogs and things by the slough."
All these things, though very interesting to the leveret were perhaps not so to her sister. Didn't hurt to suggest them though. The doe could always suggest stuff herself. Dafina smiled lightly and sat up in the bed looking down at the other girl.
"What do you think Aya?"
Wiggle. Nudge. Even the conversation was entertaining for the lop-eared leveret. Though she'd never let her sister know that. Better they get out of the warren and get a little dirty.

Her ears twitched and a brow lifted as she watched her sister with a curious golden gaze ... by the white rabbit why was she so wound up? She couldn't help but wrinkle her nose at most of Fina's suggestions ... those would all result in her getting dirty, which would lead to a good scrubbing.... which she wanted to avoid. Water wasn't one of the little does favorite things and the cleaner she stayed the better she could avoid it. however... it would be rather mean to shoot down all her suggestions and a couple either sounded not so bad or.... workable.
I'd be up for a trip to the garden ... you can pick weeds or hunt down snails to your heart's content but I .... I think I'll stick to flower watching ... hop scotch sounds alright to... but we can do that later.
She wiggled her way out of her cloth cocoon and, once all her limbs were freed, gave herself a good shake and hopped daintily off the bed. She flicked her tri-colored tail to summon her sister and started to head down the hallway, no signs of sleepiness lingering any longer. She'd made up her mind on what they were going to do.
Let's go to the garden and see if we can find any of those tasty clovers ... there's got to be some that the leverets missed!

Dafina wrinkled her brow at her sister's initial reaction. She never understood why Ayanna was such a priss all the time. Even father liked to get dirty in the gardens now and again, and he was a Jack. She was about to pick a small argument when the golden-haired doe spoke again. Flower watching? That just sounded boring, but I guess at least she'd be able to talk with Ayanna as they each did their own thing.
The leveret moved out of the way as Aya wiggled up and out of the covers and jumped so gracefully off of the bed. Dafina peered over the edge of the bed, her bound ears swinging pendulously in front of her feet. She dipped a paw off the bed, awkward. Tried again. . . she was going to trip herself with these darn things. Eventually she backed up to the edge of the bed and went off back end first, landing rather ungracefully comparitively.
"Okay!"

When her sibling agreed to an afternoon in the garden the little doe kicked into high gear and went speeding down the hall, presently ragged looking braids bouncing. She paid little attention to who was in the hall, she had a goal and she was going to reach it as quickly as possible and .... was that a leveret that almost got ran over? Possibly. did she care? Negative.
For a moment it looked as it she wasn't even going to stop for the door but the little mixed realm stopped suddenly with her head, tail and ears flipped forward. Ah, doors... the knobs were still a little high for her... but if the older rabbits could use them.... Aya could to!
She hunkered down, staring at the knob intently before she pounced. First try didn't work, she missed the knob with her foot, but she backed up and made another go and.... bingo, open door.
She shot her sibling a triumphant glance before collecting herself and prancing out into the sunlight.
