Thus, did Nathalia decide to post the wrap up in chunks in order to better allow people do deal with how long it takes her to do things coupled with being able to to actually have something to read!
Huzzah!
I'll be getting to the other chunks shortly.

Ticket Contest Final Results:
(If a character is not mentioned specifically, then it is assumed that they got enough of an ending and you ought to be able to handle it from there. The majority of the prizes being handed out in here are for those who were unable to gather any as they played or didn't find one I made especially for them.
Have fun gazing upon things that I meant for groups to get to who didn't make it there!
Thank you.)
As the events slowly passed that grievous evening, the world began to retake some form of normalcy once more.
All of the little black doors vanished, one by one, over the course of 5 hours after the death of Zacharias, good thing no one was caught in any of them...right?
Rowan and Laurel, who finally made their way up the steps to explore, found Mirriam and company right before the door snapped shut behind them, leaving the Palace of Hearts far away and a distant memory...
Unlike the bodies of the deceased everywhere! Good Lord! What will the Court of Diamonds do about this mess?
In the Queen's chambers of the Palace of Diamonds, Queen Sadie flopped ungraciously out of the envelope onto her bed and awoke to find herself with a backache, lying across a beautiful Yarrow Feline.
Wow, awkward...
In Queen Iria's chambers, the corpse of Yarrast slowly shifted...and slit open.
Cold organs slid out over the floor along with sticky coagulated blood and...something else, which quickly scurried into the shadows and clopped away.
In the Palace of Spades, those who slept began to awaken and the Palace staff very slowly crept out of the basement, where they rematerialized for reasons they can't even begin to explain. They all seem to think that they've only been in the basement for the past 5 minutes, and have no idea that a little over a day has passed! Though those who slept heard...voices...as they dreamed, many of them relating to what went on in the Palace! None of them will have a clear idea of what went on, but still, how disconcerting.
Outside of the Palace, many shortly discovered the King of Hearts, Helena, and an odd assortment of children, none of them seemed to have any idea what was going on, and his Highness was awfully woozy...and a little violent. Look at how he nearly took off that poor servant's ear when Colin ordered the Human helped up! Maybe it's a defensive reaction...
Meanwhile, Colin and his rag-tag band were left with nothing but the memory of the horrifyingly long-limbed Joker...and Zacharias's body, twisted in a disturbing manner after dying of a brain hemorrhage, and bleeding all over the floor. All that really remained were the tatters of the Wolf's cloak, the main body of it gone away with the corpse.
Dania and Nadja were able to get Faust fixed up well enough that he would live until the Court doctor awoke and could see to him properly; though his memory is still quite shaky, he's at the very least on the mend.
Due to superb dedication to an NPC, Harps has won Faust! (or at least kept him alive, which I did not expect.) You have three options:
1. Keep him and play him yourself.
2. Give him to another Dealer and have them play him with you.
3. Or, you can leave him with me and I will do my best to play him with you when I have time. As soon as I open commissions again, my time will become quite limited, but I'll do my best if you like.
PM me with your choice and I'll get him written up if it's one of the first two.
Argo didn't seem to be in a well enough state of mind to remember to take his "Warren" with him. Good thing Heike and Nadja were there; I'm sure Heike will um...help his son somehow. As to Maeve; well, she's proved herself capable enough that she could either remain with Heike's Warren, or make a living for herself as a roving Leveret. Sure, it's a dangerous life, but she's proven herself t be a dangerous Rabbit!
She also managed to stow the following items in a bag to be carried out after inspecting the Palace of Spades.
Piece of Golden Sculpted Honeycomb: Once per week, the caster can mutter the words 'sticky fingers' and begin excreting a thick, honeyed substance from their palms. They can then grasp one object and hold onto it for up to five minutes. Nothing but a dousing with Spade-summoned water can separate them from the object in question, regardless of force used. The limb it's stuck too doesn't seem to be able to be severed either. This item is unassigned and can be traded later.
Silk Veil: Oh, how lovely and lavender! After trying to wear this wonderful thing, the owner will find; once per month, the caster can call forth a thin veil of silk three foot square. When held in front of a living being, the parts of the being covered by the veil are hidden from view, but only those three feet of them. The veil unsummons itself after ten minutes. Searchers with powers specifically tailored towards seeing the unseen or perception cannot be deceived by the veil, nor can Diamonds of any Rank...even Ace.
As to the rest of the group, well; got to start rebuilding somewhere I suppose. Maybe you'll be able to locate Donalda soon...or at least her corpse, and perhaps add it to the attic. Haha...
Speaking of creepery in the attic....the corpse seems to have continued following everyone around...until the rest of the Palace began to wake up.
Then, the group noticed her go quite quiet and, as soon as they were all distracted, she slipped away.
Who knows where she might have gone...
Joel still has his two keys...I wonder what would happen if he ran about the Palace of Spades trying them on anything he could find?
The Court of Hearts was left in disarray, though the Queen soon awakened to a monster of a headache, a missing King, and her back grounds strewn with dead staff and guards! Oh NO!
She's going to have to do some major HR work after this! (Pffft, mourn them? They were servants. Please.)
Not to mention the random horde of people slowly making their way down from her attic; well, maybe not that many. Still, what's Lucius doing here? And why can't Conall remember who she is? She can smell those Lowland Hearts and was able to put two and two together to surmise that they were the ones who obliterated the majority of her staff...but, why?
Surely, soon that Queen of Spades, Wulfram would show up to collect this strange Puffin girl with the odd ears...maybe he knows what's going on? What's happened to Vaska?! Her Mother will kill her! And what are Malachoir and this horrible Club doing in here?
Why is she all beat up!? ARGH!
Sabe's injuries at least seem to be healing well, and look! He seems to have found a little something up in the attic!
X-ray glasses: Wow...these glasses look pretty...goofy. It's going to be hard to be taken seriously while wearing them. Neon orange with little deedly-bobs dangling from the side, tiny hearts on springs included, they at least offer a great compensation. These awesome little glasses may not be a fashion statement, but when a Card ranked King or higher is currently wearing them they can see directly through anything within 100 feet around themselves! The only things they can't see through are magically sealed items or doors. (The SD must have these glasses on their face for the spell to work. If the glasses break, they lose this spell.)
Ugh! What a mess the Courts are in! Oh, well, at least they're not as bad off as some.
Speaking of which, slowly but surely, people began to flee the Selkie Lakes.
Hospitals and Corvie offices began to fill up with Selkie mixes, all falling ill, changing color, losing feathers and fur, and dying...
A very select few appeared to be genetically immune to the disease (Your PCs), two people even living with the disease inhabiting their bodies (Rowan and one random girl in the Capital).
On the whole, though...
The Selkie Lakes as a distinct Realm seems to have gone extinct.
(For player purposes: The Lakes, with exception to your PCs, have gone extinct. You will never randomly run into one on the streets, see one working in a shoppe, or find one at the Palace again. Unless they're played by another Dealer, like you, then you will never see a Selkie again.
They are all dead.
Other characters now seeing a Selkie, especially a healthy one is rarer than seeing a Hisstor! Many people would love to see one, just to remind themselves of what used to be. A good number of Corvies would give their right hand to have one now too...there's some interesting genetic experimentation to be had in there...)
Out in the Rising Wing, Jordan's group was greeted by a scream of terror upon their re-entry as the hotel staff began to reawaken in the oddest of places and one of them; the dead-eyed key-giver from earlier, had actually been attacked by Suvius and Uluani and "tested". The woman had been groggy at the time and swears it was Jordan who had done it.
Seeing as Uluani vanished into the undergrowth to take off on her own, Jordan took the blame; the hotel staff preferring to believe their own as opposed to a Benyan[/b], and regardless of her little group's protests...the rumor spread like wildfire...
Especially when people started dying.
In droves.
A good number of people suspect her as either being the murderer mastermind, or having a heavy hand in its dealings. The Benyan will be split on its reactions, half shunning her and half seeing her as an unequivocal hero.
Jordan's not the only one running into trouble; one of the Innkeepers was mainly Yarrow, (a barrel-chested Mink) who recognized Brandy for what he was and somehow managed to get him placed under room-arrest for half a day! Fortunately, with all of the hoopla over Jordan, he and the rest of his group were able to make a last-second escape (though poor Kaden lost a few feathers) into an Ace-drawn carriage, that was waiting for the Queen of Spades who had just run in and practically destroyed the people at the front desk with her words until presented with her daughter and Lyr.
Too bad that her carriage was gone; stolen by rogues, when she got back out.
Upon arriving back in the Capital, they found it populated again and full of confused people, many out in the street trying to dole out food and coffee while everyone collected themselves.
The Police were out in force and happy to help anyone with anything, trying to make calls through a small force of Clubs to get families back together. A fashion designer (an Avington Skunk/Canine) spotted Brandy while on the road and practically begged him to work as a model in their shoppe, even offering him room and board as part of the pay if he liked.
Victor and his small charges were also held on accusation of being involved with Suvius, mainly due to his being a Lowlander. The Innkeepers saw little Geronimo's face and assumed he and Sho were Victor's children. Simun, upon telling them who he was, was laughed at and only released when Jordan managed her escape, taking the little group with her.
About three days later, when Ayden relocated Victor, he managed to coerce some friends into forking over owed cash to purchase Victor a small house in the Capital (right next door to a certain hat shoppe), in exchange for free-reign use over the attic room whenever he liked.
Speaking of Ayden:
Due to superb dedication to an NPC, Kari has won Ayden!
