I think that what has happened to her is one of the first cases of racial profiling to an NPC. "She's Benyan, it MUST have been her!!"

Oh my goodness! Brandy nearly died of fright at being caught, I'm sure. I think his new occupation is AWESOME and it delights him as well. He is also somewhat confused on how he's going to be able to make money without bending over for people but he is especially willing to learn.  Karrock: Yay, I'm rare! .... But. Still much conflict :< Oh my GOSH at the Selkie situation. That's amazing. XD Success for Benyans but holy crap. My Midori folk are definitely going 'WTF BENYANS' right now. By escape, are you leaving that open-ended as them being let go or evading the law? I could see the people going: "Hmmhmm, well his children are Selkie mixes, so maybe he wasn't involved..."
Xenon: Victor is more than happy to help Jordan. If anything, he would react to the accusations against her by going "Hey, guys. There is a dead body. Over there. A Benyan Pine Martin. That's the one you're looking for. All of our stories match up. Please let us go now?"
(btw Ayden, Victor's also more than happy to help you shed your brand new crack addiction. XD Getting him a house, even a small one, is making him flip out with gratitude like you can't believe. Detox ftw!)

Xiven is so unamused. However I find that part of the summary quite amusing. It made me giggle. (Especially the "her mother will kill her" bit.)
Holy Carp. The Lakes are gone, and I have to say that fills me with so much sad. I don't think any of my Selkies are going to cope well with this massive nightmare.
<3 Eagerly awaiting part two.
I will get back to you on Ayden, as I didn't particularly expect to have any options involving him. XD I'm happy I was able to save the poor man from such a horrible fate.
