"You were supposed to take a left at that shop!""No, she said right. I remember.""You never remember directions correctly, and you know it.""Don't..." the feline mix's nose twitched as he stopped dead in his tracks. They were lost. Well, he was lost. Benedict always had a better sense of direction than he did. His ears pinked against his skull as he could feel his brothers empty eye sockets staring at the back of his head. "... rub it in. Where are we?"Benedict sighed. Why was he the one stuck without a working set of legs? If he was in charge they would have been at the candy shop already. So much for doing something nice. They probably weren't going to get to the candy shop in time and they would have to slink back home empty handed. "I'm not sure. We can try to back track. If that doesn't work you can ask someone in the nearest shop for directions."Falks drooped. Of course he had screwed up. Of course they were lost. He sighed as he stared down the street. It wasn't going to get dark soon, was it?

Just a bit down that very alley, a similar scene was unfolding. Only this one involved a certain little hisstor having to walk backward as fast as he could or else he get dragged by his brother, who was using his Diamond flight ability to move. The lowlander's fur was bristled, and you could tell by his muscle tension that he was upset at his other half. But I said I was sorry, what else can I do? The hisstor's voice traveled down a thin like a frustration, and whining while the Lowlander simply snorted and continued to pull his brother down the alleyway. finally Malachite flipped his ears back and narrowed his eyes a bit. fine! you leave me no choice, I'm telling papa! Boston sighed, stopped for a moment and shifted his beady blue-light eyes on his brother. And I suppose I'll have to tell mother you were crying again, eh? Not that he actually would, of course, but it seemed to be a rather effective threat when it came to his overly sensitive other half. The boy was a little... .afraid of the mother actually, but it was horribly amusing to Boston. He knew their mother wasn't likely to do anything brash if father was around, but Chite didn't seem to have picked that little tidbit up yet. Boston exhaled sharply and continued down the alley for a bit until something caught his eye and he abruptly stopped, Chite still moved and damn hear knocked them over, but Boston was a little too preoccupied with what he saw. That boy's tail, could it be? You there, that's quite the interesting tail you have. His voice, despite being a lowlander, was low, clipped and carried a bit of a hisstor accent that not even his sibling had. Chite, suddenly confused, turned his head around to see who his brother was talking to and instantly perked his little ears forward again with intrigue. He crossed his little toes that this wasn't going to be a weird mix that just liked to decorate it's self with bones or something. If that were the case he knew his brother's mood would turn sour all over again.

Falks froze when he heard the voice address him. A mild twinge of panic consumed him as he turned to face who was speaking. His eyes widened and his head tilted to the side when he saw who was addressing him.
Benedict peered around his brother's shoulder at the voice that was addressing them. He shifted as his brother did. He would have frowned if it were possible. His brother was just staring blankly, obviously stunned at the sight. He was pretty stunned himself, and he wasn't particularly sure what to say. Suits, this was actually happening right? His brother's crazy hadn't actually infected him, had it?
"He's my brother," Falks said after clearing his throat a few times.
"Nice to meet you," Benedict said brightly. "Not every day we run into a set of people like us I'm Benedict and this is Falkenhayn. He would wave if he could."
Falks nodded, "Yes, uh... Hello. Nice to meet you." This was weird. Who was this person? They were part Lowlander... or were they all Lowlander? And the other half of them seemed to be Hisstor. They were brothers too? Well they had to be.
This was really happening?

Chite got his hopes up a little more when the weird looking mix announced that that his tail was actually his brother, how delightful! Now Boston wouldn't get mad and vent at him anymore. He loved his brother, he really did, but... damn, he had such a temper! He picked up a paw ans waved to the pair, wiggling his little weasel toes in the process. Oh man, their parents weren't going to believe this!
Boston held his judgment until the skull spoke, the tension leaving his part of the body altogether. So, they were like them , then. He had them moving forward again, although with how the legs were set up on this body it would appear that they were walking backward, but no.... this was just him being in control.
I'm Boston, and this is my brother Malachite. I must say, it's a pleasure to meet you both.
however, it didn't seem that Benidict was as fortunate as him when it came to having his own suit and rank. Maybe it was just this angle, but he couldn't spot on on the boys tail like body. That would be... interesting. Why would he have one and Ben wouldn't? Interesting.
Malachite laughed, a big, goofy grin spreading over his muzzle as he turned his half of the body around to better look at the other two.
Wow, totally didn't think there would be any others. This is pretty cool!
Boston sighed. No matter how long Chite was around him and his tutors, the boy still sounded like an air head. He was starting to wonder if he got all the brains in the body.

Benedict couldn't help but feel a tiny bit cheerful as he inspected the other pair. Someone like them. Well... not exactly. It looked like he had a proper rank. How... how was that possible? And he seemed to be a different region from his brother. Lowlands? He was a good deal darker than a Highlander. Being color blind really did put a kink in identifying regions properly sometimes.
He would have raised a eyebrow if he could. Malachite certainly didn't seem as put together as Boston was, but that was jumping to conclusions wasn't it? He eyed his own brother. What if it was a relationship like he had? What were the odds?
"I think this is a one in a million chance," Ben said cheerfully. He would have smiled if he could have. "Are you too busy or can we have a nice chat near the fountain around here?"
Falks was best not to stare. One of them was a Lowlander and one of them was a Hisstor and they seemed a lot different than him and Falks. They both had ranks. That was pretty cool. His ears panned forward when the Hisstor spoke. His brother followed with a question.
"This really is cool. Ha. Um... also, you wouldn't happen to know where there's a candy store around here? I-I got lost and we're trying to get something for our sister." He frowned a bit as he shuffled his feet.
"Really, you don't have to think about that now," Benedict whispered to his brother. He was half tempted to summon his tove. Though... the Hisstor looked remarkably familiar to the monster that had gone after their brother. Thankfully Falks hadn't noticed yet... hopefully he wouldn't. He'd probably throw a fit or something.

We were just out exploring whilst we could, I'm pretty sure we could swing a stop by the fountain, aye Chite?
They had nowhere to be really, just avoiding certain relatives in an attempt to establish some sort of independence outside of the home. Boston had gotten used to being treated almost like an equal amongst the adults in his life and the whole not being able to leave without an escort thing was driving him mad. Of course his brother really didn't care either way and was simply humoring him as they slipped through the alleys.
The hisstor's ears perked when he heard the bit about the candy store though. That happened to be quite the nice place to sit and look into the window at all the pretty rock candies they had in the window.
The one with the rock candy forest on display? I know where that one is! Maybe we could go after the fountain?
He tilted his head to the side a bit, trying to give a cute, innocent look to both Boston and Ben. Hey, he was compromising, right? They could have their fountain time, and find the candy store to!

Apparently Chite and Falks wanted to go to the candy store while the "adults" in the situation wanted to have a nice chat. Could he actually suck it up and stare at the candy store?
"I suppose we could go to the candy store first. And yes, we were talking about that one. It's the nicer of the two around here."
Falks was surprised that they were actually doing something fun first. His tiny paranoid eyes seemed to look relatively normal for a brief moment. These two knew where they needed to go. So they wouldn't get lost before it got dark. Everything would be fine. And Xiven wouldn't want to kill them for not getting her something.
"Lead the way to the candy store then. I think that's a bit more fun anyway, and we can have a snack while sitting at the fountain right?" He was half asking his brother the question. They had enough money for that... he was pretty sure. He had triple checked before they left.
"Yes, yes. We can get a snack too," Benedict said to his brother in a whisper. He seemed to relax a bit more. Apparently that was what he needed today. The skull turned to Boston. "So what realm do you live in? I don't really recognize your accent, Boston."
