I really hope anyone in the Warning Zones stay safe.
My thoughts and prayers are going out to anyone affected at all.

We had a tsunami warning in the wee hours of the morning and they closed off one of the scenic highways a couple miles from my house, though everything operated normally as far as I can tell, and I haven't heard reports of any significant damage.
A couple hours down the coast there were some incidents of capsized boats, dock damage and really high water levels. No injuries as far as I know, and some friends who live there were flabbergasted to find that several people had flocked to the beaches to "check it out". D'oh. >.<
