I think 'before you give a pet away, make sure it's not to a crazy murderer-person' or 'don't get a pet if you don't know you'll have it for life' are equally applicable morals to this story. Oh yeah, 'don't move in with a guy until you're realllly sure he's not a dog-slaughtering rapist' is a good one too. D:

This sort of thing twists my stomach. It's just clear that some people are born with their brains wired wonky (hope that doesn't offend anyone). It should go without saying that you don't dump your pets off with Craigslist people. This is why we go through organizations that are certified to clear you for proper pet adoption. GUUUUHHH.

Guh, this is so awful! This is why I fully support home checks (with someone there with you to make sure nothing happens) and, well, not advertising through something that sickos use to get things. I won't even buy from craigslist cause of all the scary shit.
