Sorry it took me so long to get this, guys.
You know how sometimes you work really hard on something...and then accidentally delete it?
Yeah...
And how hard it is to re-type it?
That...
Regardless, it's here now!
Let's get down to it!
---------------------------------------------
ART WORK:
- First place -
DARK!!!!
Zacharias's Cloak: This gorgeous, blood-red cloak has swirls of what look like liquid sapphire sewn magically into it in pretty patterns down by the hem. There are some...darker stains in the folds, and it's a little ripped and torn...I certainly hope the last owner of this thing didn't have an...accident.
Regardless, it ought to be easy to repair, and it tingles like mad when touched, so it's more than likely worth it.
When someone places this cloak on, they will instantly be gripped by a peal of mad laughter, that they may be somewhat surprised to find is coming out of their own mouths.
They will feel almost as though their minds are...warping, somehow, even as a section holds onto their own sanity, another part of their minds will deteriorate and begin to move to the forefront of their personality.
This odd, dignified and deviously mad personification of themselves will be foremost and visible to everyone one day a week.
Some let it override them, some embrace this new persona, some hide themselves away for the day it comes out...it's up to you.The cloak does have one or two...beneficial qualities about it, though.
Once a week, this SD or Rabbit is now able to cause one other Card or Rabbit around them, or any Rank, save for Joker and Ace, to think they see the wearer as someone else. Whoever the caster wishes to look like at that moment, they will, down to the very last detail. Even if they only know the person's name, they will look exactly like them...don't let the ones you're trying to fool get too close to you, though; you still smell, taste, and feel like your original body, and this spell will only fool one set of eyes at a time.
The spell lasts for a full hour and must be used all at once, if it is used on the same person more than 3 times, PM the Admin, as you may be in in for a problem...granted, some might like it.
Once a week, this wearer is now also able to whisper the words speak to me, and hear (inside their own heads) the last ten words spoken by a person they concentrate on. It will be the last ten words spoken since that very second, so they may be jumbled, cut off, or otherwise make little sense, but some have found this spell painfully useful.
- Second Place -
KARI!!!!!!!
Resta's sword: This incredible little sword has a long, thin blade that puts one in mind of a katana.
When held, the new owner will feel a tingle of magic run down their spine as they come to realize that they are the owner of this sword and the weapon and its magical abilities will only be passed to another now if they are killed for it.
The sword is sharp enough to cut through nearly all non-magical items, though it will sway from instant-kill shots (staying away from the vitals)...perhaps due to some of its previous owner's insane delight taken in playing with her prey.
The weapon, besides being unreasonably sharp, has the ability to grant the caster the temporary ability to teleport.
Once a day, the weapons owner is able to teleport anywhere within a 50 foot area 12 times (Resta managed more punch due to extreme training along with the sword itself), they cannot teleport to a place they cannot see in front of them and this weapon will not be magical in the hands of a blind person. If the owner of this sword begins to use it more than once a week, PM the Admin at once.
When first held, the sword will scour its new master's brain for their cause, their reason to fight.
PM the Admin once you have decided what this is, as the sword, like its former master, likes to take things to the extreme...

Suvius's Potion: Eeew, this skeevy looking potion smells awful.
A bit like ink and a lot like blood, the old and congealed kind; it swirls sluggishly in its tiny corked flagon and tingles desperately to the touch.
It seems to eek out whispers at night and the color changes depending on the time of day...wonder if that means anything...
This potion can be drunk, injected, or used in a breeding and has the possibility to incur a violent mass of reactions. 500p could even get you an extra flagon for future use if you take it to a Corvie who might be able to duplicate it.
Be warned, this potion will have a 50% chance of wreaking a dramatic effect on your character; physically, mentally, or ability-wise.
This potion changes color...and possibly its effects three times a day. Make sure you TELL THE ADMIN when you use it HOW it is being used and WHEN.
1. Midnight to 2 am; the potion changes to a sickly chartreuse.
2. 2am to 7am; the potion changes to an odd, light pink.
3. 7am to midnight; the potion is a sludgy black color with rainbow hues in the right light.

Species: Blobling
Characteristic: Ink
Notes: This little Blobling is highly elastic, and more of a thin, glossy substance. It is able to secrete a thick, bubbling, oddly blue-is, foam that smells overpoweringly like ink whenever it feels that itself or its master is threatened. This foam stings painfully upon contact with skin and causes blue-tinted chemical burns that only sometimes fade.
It will only take to the creature it has bonded to, though if that creature dies, it might consider another.
Once a week, it is able to spit its foam with percision, causing temporary blindness of up to one minute.
Bloblings are exceedingly rare, in fact, there are only 10 of them. They cannot breed, cannot be split into multiples, and will not ever be found again. They have a mildly frightening aura and will not be viewed as a normal pet or familiar, many will view them with disgust and trepidation or fear.

CALLYPSO!!!
Sung to the tune of "American Pie" by Don McLean
(Song Link!)
A long, long time ago
In a magical Wonderland
The world was turned upside down
And if the Cards knew what was in store
They might have dead-bolted all their doors
And maybe, avoided the chaos throughout town
But the fog rolled in with heady scent
The tingling air itself was rent
With malice, and unexplainable fear
Every one felt their end was near
There are mysteries, wonders, to behold
Great Horrors and challenges will unfold
Nat has already rolled the “die”
To change the SD’s lives
So why, why’d all those Lowlanders die?
Rotting smell straight from hell
Bodies stiff where they lie
And Selkie corpses dripping ink from their eyes
Looks like Lovett won’t be baking more pies
Lovett won’t be baking more pies
Did you hear in the Court of Spades
Donalda was invited to visit the Selkie Lakes
Sophie joined as a stow-away
Dania, Colin & Joel had work for the day
Mummified Queens leapt up from where they lay
The three’s welcome was clearly overstayed
The rabbits experienced similar fates
Does lost or exploding at alarming rates
Bizarre babies being birthed, it’s true!
Happened to Zane & Kushrenada, too!
Iaso suffered pains in a wayward mist
Courante joined in time to see a bizarre twist
The two left the inn after getting the gist
That a burglar was on the prowl
So why, why’d all those Lowlanders die?
Rotting smell straight from hell
Bodies stiff where they lie
And Selkie corpses dripping ink from their eyes
Looks like Lovett won’t be baking more pies
Lovett won’t be baking more pies
Now back in Hearts’ Court things are off key
Zekki’s worried for his Virtute’s safety
His lover’d been turned to stone
The Hellhounds gang’s been attacked
Court officials descended as one
The Hellhounds' troubles have just begun
Vaska’s seeing Wiglaf’s ghost, in fact
Oh, and while all this is going down
Crazy Mephit’s been let loose in the town
Arkady was trying to get booze
Farran’s need for revenge was renewed
The excited youngsters joined forces on a lark
And the cracked King lunged out from the dark
Successful escape after her sword made its mark
The boys fled for their lives
So why, why’d all those Lowlanders die?
Rotting smell straight from hell
Bodies stiff where they lie
And Selkie corpses dripping ink from their eyes
Looks like Lovett won’t be baking more pies
Lovett won’t be baking more pies
Elsewhere at the Fallen Wing
Officer Rodney arrived at the scene
As well as Pascha and Beraht
A murdered fox thereby did rot
Scuffles ensued, which they promptly forgot
Pascha’s spell radically changed the plot!
Now pan the camera to the looter Kaden
Who met Eurwen who was in search of Ayden
They were involved in a bar fight or two
Then fell victim to a zombie who
Dragged its putrid body across the ground
Blood-curling laughter from its maw did sound
By a trio of Jossigies were the two then found
Zombie mess before their eyes
So why, why’d all those Lowlanders die?
Rotting smell straight from hell
Bodies stiff where they lie
And Selkie corpses dripping ink from their eyes
Looks like Lovett won’t be baking more pies
Lovett won’t be baking more pies
Oh, then on edge of the Outer Bazaar
Nova captured an inkblot with a jar
Whose origins still remain unknown
Fenzik, Othello and Farrago met in one place
And were silently watched by one Talaith
A leveret out on his own
In the Outer Bazaar – Kelsier chased Emery
Then came Karrock, Orrin & Alohilani
A horrid smell to investigate
Wherein they discovered the horrible fate
Carnage that not all the group could handle
They decided they would track the vandal
Their steps guided by light of a candle
To the last of Lovett’s pies
So why, why’d all those Lowlanders die?
Rotting smell straight from hell
Bodies stiff where they lie
And Selkie corpses dripping ink from their eyes
Looks like Lovett won’t be baking more pies
Lovett won’t be baking more pies
Wandering lost in a haze was Catastrophe
The invisible Lachlan she chanced to see
Sergei and Zhenya just happened to meet
They became a group, a strange house to explore
An exploding tiger was more than bargained for
Bristol arrived and shortly after Cat had a treat
And in the end? We’re not there yet!
There’s more to come, and soon I’ll bet
Spells, mutations - magic tokens
Fiends and murders, bodies broken
When the time comes for the contest to disband
And Nat’s revealed what she had planned
To change the fate of dear Wonderland
Then we will all know why:
Know why, why’d all those Lowlanders die?
Rotting smell straight from hell
Bodies stiff where they lie
And Selkie corpses dripping ink from their eyes
Looks like Lovett won’t be baking more pies
Lovett won’t be baking more pies
We’ll all know
Why, why’d all those Lowlanders die?
Rotting smell straight from hell
Bodies stiff where they lie
And Selkie corpses dripping ink from their eyes
Looks like Lovett won’t be baking more pies
Lovett won’t be baking more pies

Name: ----
Suit: Diamonds
Rank: Jack
Gender: Male
Animal: Canine (Wolf)/Donkey
Region: Durram Veldt/Calloo Fjords
Parents: Zacharias x Yarrast
Dealer: Callypso
Notes: This oddly gorgeous little boy was born at the age of 18, a full adult, and with a rudimentary knowledge of the culture and world around him (at least as far as the Capital and Vedlt go). He is more cunning than intelligent, though he can fake it well if need be, and has a tendency towards being a deadpan snarker.
Born with his Bipedal form, he at least rests well in the knowledge that, had his Mother lived, Yarrast would have been proud of him...though the residual knowledge that his Father, Zacharias, would have probably spat on him if they'd met rankles horribly.
He does not know if his Father is alive or dead and has only the vaguest knowledge that he was a Calloo Wolf who was...unkind in many ways. He believes his Father raped and murdered his poor Mother (which is, horribly and hilariously true), and as a result has a terrible contempt for the Calloo way of life and religion, believing it to all be a load of bunk to allow them better access to the poor people who believe them. He does not view all religion this way, though depending on how he grows he may come to or not, only the Calloo.
He will do what he can to connect with his remaining (and known to him) family members; Rowan and Laurel, and will do anything in his power to protect them from suffering the way their Mother did. He feels a strong tie to the Court and hopes he can some day clear his Mother's name and earn enough money to keep his sisters, especially Laurel, safe and unharmed.
Basic Magical Ability: He can act charismatic and persuasive at times, whether or not he actually has the natural charm and grace to pull it off.
Moderate Magical Ability: When activated, he can decipher up to two languages of the player's choosing. These languages are in addition to the common tongue and the Diamond house language.
Strong Magical Ability: When activated, he can cast a lie-detector spell on a Card of the Suit of Hearts or Spades and of a rank lesser or equal to his own, once per day. Cards of equal rank would be aware of the spell, but cards of lesser rank would not.
Powerful Magical Ability: When activated, he can fly for 20 minutes once a day. Winged Diamonds can use this ability for effortless, perfectly controlled flight.
Jack's Ability: Once a week, he is able to cause another Card to lose the ability to use and understand any form of speech for a full three minutes.

Tamis's Foreskull: This thick bony helmet was fashioned out of poor Tamis's head...or at least, part of it. It tingles madly to the touch, and compels the finder to put it on and snap the leather holder into place. The entire thing smells strongly of ink.
Once placed on and strapped, the owner will find themselves able to completely melt their body at will into a thick, viscous fluid that smells like a mixture of blood, oil, and ink.
This thick fluid will retain only their most recent memories of what it is they're trying to accomplish for the full three hours that they will be transformed...I hope none of their friends or allies get in their way while they're in their mindless pursuit of that goal.
Their bodies cannot be harmed by anything but fire while in this form. Blades, magical or no, water, freeze spells...all do nothing (with few rare exceptions, that being spells that cost 200p or more) save for fire.
If set alight, the caster will need to find water at once to put themselves out; if they cannot, PM the Admin.
Should the caster touch a Selkie in any way while transformed, PM the Admin. You must get the permission of the Dealer of any Selkie before playing with them in this form as you could alter them physically and mentally for good.
While in this form, the caster is capable of slurred speech, though it is often one word answers as they have little concern beyond achieving their goal. Once every week, while in this form, they can cause an opponent of any Rank, save Aces, to begin spewing the same thick substance out of their eyes and mouths for a full 30 seconds. This leaves a painful burn and renders them unable to speak for a full day. This spell will kill Selkies, please make sure you have a Dealer's full agreement before you use this spell to destroy their Selkie.

Also! A super special prize for Harps for keeping up with the plot summary the whole way through!!!!!!!!!!!
Miniature Cabinet: This little, cherry wood cabinet is only
about a foot high. It seems like would be better suited as Doll
furniture than anything else. Two of the three drawers are securely
locked and for as small as the chest is, it doesn't seem to want to
break. The drawer that will open contains a small book called
The Tome of Blood. How almost childishly morbid...I
wonder what it's for?
Silver key: This tiny key tingles a little when touched, I
wonder what it's for?
Copper key: This tiny key tingles a little when touched, I
wonder what it's for?
Second Drawer: Another tiny volume of The Tome of
Blood, where are these things coming from?
Third Drawer: A small silver ring set with a blue gem gleams in
the light. When placed on, the wearer will find themselves unable to
see in the usual way while it's on. The world will take on a
distinctly colorless hue, people show up, not with features, but with
bland, empty faces. Every now and then, they will see a person who
appears as they normally would, fully in color and well-defined.
If a person appears like this, it means they are a Joker. This ring
will allow the wearer to see Jokers in their true form while wearing
it. PM the admin if the SD wears the ring for longer than half an hour
at one time...
Hope you all enjoyed the contest and the results.
I appreciate your putting up with a wait on me, guys. <3

Oh, then on edge of the Outer Bazaar
Nova captured an inkblot with a jar
Whose origins still remain unknown
Fenzik, Othello and Farrago met in one place
And were silently watched by one Talaith
A leveret out on his own
In the Outer Bazaar – Kelsier chased Emery
Then came Karrock, Orrin & Alohilani
A horrid smell to investigate
Wherein they discovered the horrible fate
Carnage that not all the group could handle
They decided they would track the vandal
Their steps guided by light of a candle
To the last of Lovett’s pies
So why, why’d all those Lowlanders die?
Rotting smell straight from hell
Bodies stiff where they lie
And Selkie corpses dripping ink from their eyes
Looks like Lovett won’t be baking more pies
Lovett won’t be baking more pies
Wandering lost in a haze was Catastrophe
The invisible Lachlan she chanced to see
Sergei and Zhenya just happened to meet
They became a group, a strange house to explore
An exploding tiger was more than bargained for
Bristol arrived and shortly after Cat had a treat
And in the end? We’re not there yet!
There’s more to come, and soon I’ll bet
Spells, mutations - magic tokens
Fiends and murders, bodies broken
When the time comes for the contest to disband
And Nat’s revealed what she had planned
To change the fate of dear Wonderland
Then we will all know why:
Know why, why’d all those Lowlanders die?
Rotting smell straight from hell
Bodies stiff where they lie
And Selkie corpses dripping ink from their eyes
Looks like Lovett won’t be baking more pies
Lovett won’t be baking more pies
We’ll all know
Why, why’d all those Lowlanders die?
Rotting smell straight from hell
Bodies stiff where they lie
And Selkie corpses dripping ink from their eyes
Looks like Lovett won’t be baking more pies
Lovett won’t be baking more pies
ID: SD493
Name: ----
Suit: Diamonds

Suvius's Potion: Eeew, this skeevy looking potion smells awful.
A bit like Corvie motor oil and a lot like blood, the old and congealed kind; it swirls sluggishly in its tiny corked flagon and tingles desperately to the touch.
1. Midnight to 2 am; the potion changes to a sickly maroon.
2. 2am to 7am; the potion changes to an odd, light ocher.
3. 7am to midnight; the potion is a sludgy black color with rainbow hues in the right light.
