Notes[/b]
This amazing little child looks almost exactly like the Lowlands God of legend, Death. He has knowledge of the Lowlands Religion (though he could know more), and an average intellect and knowledge of Card culture and normality. Born at the age of 21, he is a full adult and a sensible, grounded creature, though he is prone (on very rare occasion) to fits of violence if provoked...probably from his Crocodile heritage.
He does not know how he was born, only the direct aftermath and; though he feels deeply sorry for what became of his Mother, he is intelligent enough to know that this was no fault of his and, knowing nothing of her, feels little sorrow for the situation.
Basic Magical Ability
He can run up to 30mph in sprints and 20mph for up to an hour in extended runs.
Moderate Magical Ability
When activated, he can see black-and-white clearly in the dark. This can be activated and deactivated at will. Should he look at a moderate to bright light with this ability activated, however, he will experience intense pain and be left with a splitting headache for up to one day.
Strong Magical Ability[/b]
When activated, he can create up to two gallons of drinking water up to three times per day.
Powerful Magical Ability[/b]
When activated, he can call forth and dismiss a small familiar that is unique to the individual.
Name: Nibo
ID: ST065
Species: Slithey Tove
Gender: Male
Notes: This odd little Tove seeps purple mist from his eyes 24/7. Once a week, he is able to cause another Card ranked Jack or lower to vomit up thick, smelly mist for a full minute. The mist is thick and soupy and eeks painfully out of their nose as well.
Jack's Ability
Once per week, when very hungry, he can close his eyes and whisper a request to an all-seeing power for food. A bowl of tropical fruit pudding appears in front of him with a 'pop'! It has the same caffeine content as three standard energy drinks and wires him for hours on end. For the next ten hours, it is physically impossible for him to fall asleep, magically or otherwise. When he crashes, he crashes hard and will remain unconscious for up to twelve hours as his body attempts to recuperate, barring magical interference.
King's Ability
Once per week, he can sacrifice some of his sapience for super-powered physical abilities. Becoming the mental equivalent of a standard pet canine, he is suddenly able to utilize super-strength, move in short spurts of of fifty miles per hour, and leap up to twenty feet from a stand-still. This ability will last for a full minute and he cannot stop it until it's through. He's still aware of friendships, enmities, and loyalties held by his sapient self during this time.
Canines[/b]
Canines are the most common breed type in the realm; they live everywhere and are exceedingly adaptable. They generally tend toward looking like wolves, domesticated dogs, and foxes.
Reptiles[/b]
It is extremely difficult to locate a reptile. They are considered to be cunning and magical forms, and parents are usually excited to receive one. They can live in any Realm, though they prefer the Marshes and forests, and usually appear as either small lizards or snakes.
Avington[/b]
Residents are usually emerald green with cream and pale blue winding across their spine in a tree-like marking. They often sport antlers.
The inhabitants of Avington are regarded as being beautiful by most other realms. Even the Lowlanders find themselves envious of the delicate appearance. Avington is a heavily forested region, deep and secret; few who are not of Avington have ever been able to see their actual city. It is hidden deep within the heart of the trees. Each Avington dweller possesses one secret; they will not divulge it unless they feel they have to, but they may tell their mates or close friends. If the secret is pulled from an Avington unwillingly, the tree on their back will become blackened and dead.
Lowlands[/b]
Residents are usually brown with purple and green twining patterns tracing down their shoulders and eyes. They are often emaciated and the landscape causes many of them to have some sort of sore or wound that will not go away.
The Lowlands are the most disreputable of the realms, and for good reason. Dark and dreary, the buildings are unkempt and falling apart in many places due to the lack of proper building materials, the constant damp of the area, and the insufficient monetary support for the Realm itself. There are very few jobs available and many residents are forced to go out and labor for others in order to secure their meals, much less their homes and possessions. The members themselves seem shabby or in disrepair, some having quite gruesome appearances and mannerisms. Lowlanders are rarely taken in to work in the Courts; if they are then they are kept out of sight, hidden in the kitchens or out in the stables where visitors won’t have to look at them. The Lowlands are on the other side of the Sorgaire Range from Josiggy Marsh and the residents hate each other with a fiery passion, often finding excuses to cross the range and attack each other for little to no reason. The Range is neutral in this feud. The residents of the Lowlands have been involved in the cold-war with the Josiggy Marsh as long as anyone can remember, though no one can tell who started it or why. Most Lowlanders have poor constitution and will simply avoid any members of the Josiggy that they see. Mixed breeds from the two Realms are often ostracized and some are even killed on sight for being the intimate result of lying down with the enemy.[/center]
