Notes
Oh, dear, what an odd young man...
Aside from his dubious looks and foul temper (and short stature, especially for a Biped...), this poor thing may have delved too far into the reaches of his own Corvie interest.
Highly interested in the division and creation of eternal cellular structure, he accidentally created a magically mutated form of cancer...when experimenting on himself...
This unfortunately, had quite a few side-effects:
His rank, while once that of a ten, has somehow been reduced to that of a lowly four! How this happened, he is still uncertain, but all of his abilities, and summoned familiar went with the glory.
The cancer stunted his growth, sucked some of the pigment from his flesh, feeds on his fat content (forcing him to eat constantly), and gave him an odd form of insomnia.
No wonder he's a grump...
Oddest of all, it seems to have eaten his Animal form! He can no longer take it, and the section of his mind that used to feel for it, no longer functions. He'd best take care with his practices, or he may find himself in quite a pickle...
Due to the way many Selkies died due to the poisoning, he ha also taken up an interest in the cause of their deaths, and in seeing if the magical disease is in any way related to his own.
Basic Magical Ability
He can run up to 40mph in sprints and 20mph for up to an hour in extended runs.
Hoofed Mammal
The Hoofed Mammals are a bit harder to find about the countryside than some of the other breeds. They tend to stay away from watery Realms and favor hard-packed ground over which they are excellent sprinters. They are usually in the forms of deer, horses, and gazelles, though others have been spotted.
Reptiles
It is extremely difficult to locate a reptile. They are considered to be cunning and magical forms, and parents are usually excited to receive one. They can live in any Realm, though they prefer the Marshes and forests, and usually appear as either small lizards or snakes.
Corvistowne[/b]
Residents are usually black with electric and/or neon colored patterning in erratic stripes, splashes, and/or circles. Their coloration can be anything from electric green to a dazzling gold; even white has been seen on occasion, though it is incredibly rare. Breeding two Corvies of different colors will automatically result in at least one child that has both of those colors on its body.
Those who hail from Corvistowne are an odd bunch. They tend to be erratic in behavior and excessively creative in their work and experimentation. Most members consider themselves to be inventors of some sort, and they are not above experimenting on other members of society willing to sell themselves, Banders, Toves and Momes, Aces...or on themselves. Corvistowneians are usually quite intelligent, though they may lack common sense in the way they view the world, some going to extremes for no reason other than for science!!! The town itself is poorer than most, with many buildings appearing dilapidated and poorly cared for. If one can worm their way into the confidence of a member, they may be able to bear witness to the underground labs of Corvistowne. Many are small and cramped, with piles of past experiments and lab equipment strewn about; those with power in Corvistowne have setups that are rumored to make the Queen of Hearts slightly nervous. The extents of these labs can stretch underground for miles. Corvies are rumored to be slightly crazy by many not of the Realm. It is a stereotype and of course there are some who are scholarly in their pursuits…but the label arose for a reason.
Morganberry
Residents are usually a shaded combination of reds, oranges, yellows, pinks, and blues in the guise of a sunset. Manes are very common, as are fiery tempers.
Those who live in Morganberry are, overall, an unsatisfied bunch. The land is fruitful, but not to the level of those who surround them, namely Josiggy Marsh and the Highlands. The residents of Morganberry are commonly seeking ways to escape its borders into the Courts, Capital, or Highlands. They are often obsessed with boosting their rank and image, many of them desiring to become a face card and gain some power. Many residents are taught from childhood to make lofty goals and then accomplish them as best they can, parents often pitting siblings against one another for affection to better condition them for the real world. Most other Realms will not hesitate to hire a Morganberry because of the intensity with which they will often apply themselves to their work. They are valued in the Courts and are found almost everywhere as a result. Those who have gained power from Morganberry tend to get a bit drunk with it, however, and people are cautious around them due to their constant need and greed for more. Many residents have a bit of a fiery temper and it will flare up in situations where it looks as though they will not reach their goal, be that: a new job, a love interest, or a home on 2nd street in the Capital.
