Senka cannot feel anyone approaching, however, her search through the drawers did locate her 2 unassigned points and some nice garments.
Silk Finery: Oh! What dashing collection of lovely silk clothing! 2 pieces; a shirt and pants, how utterly wonderful; you can keep them all or share. They tingle a bit to the touch, but I'm sure it's nothing, right?
No key for that locked drawer, though.
All in the room suddenly felt an eerie creeping sensation, and a good, quick assessment of the room would show that the things on the ceilings and walls are...moving! Very slowly, to be sure, but oh, God, why are they moving!

It was a shame she didn’t have a bipedal form, she thought, fingering the silk finery her search had uncovered. A completely frivolous item, and not something that helped their cause in the slightest, but--pretty. She set it aside for the moment and considered the source of her ire: the locked drawer.
Senka didn’t fully understand why she was so fixated on the damn thing--she really should have probably been helping Zeki brief their newest recruits, getting them up and moving--except for the fact that a locked anything usually meant valuables--secrets, hopefully; the tiniest scrap of a clue as to why they had been taken and/or what had been planned--and she would have it opened. She couldn’t take that chance that there might be something in the drawer to help them, and she’d been dissuaded by lack of a key.
It was now time for the less civilized option. She grabbed hold of the drawer, bracing herself, and called upon her rarely used strength; she yanked.
Moderate Magical Ability: When activated, she can carry up to 100 lbs of extra weight for 24 hours straight, one day per week. She is left feeling tired and somewhat drained for the 24 hours following that period.

Mercutio wasn’t the only one coming around; the bird seemed to finally become alert, slowly and groggily it seemed, but really all that mattered was the alertness itself. Get them up, get them moving.
“I think we’re sort of safe for the moment,” he told the bird. “We don’t know how we got here but we’re trying to find a way out.” More or less. He was sort of playing nurse and Senka was busily assaulting a dresser in an effort to tear out its forbidden innards, but the next step was certainly a way out.
Safe turned out to be a really relative term. One tiny glance at the plant slop on the ceiling revealed that the pulsing mass was legitimately moving—not even under the influence of his light, just on its own, the little tendrils slogging along. He grimaced, felt a rise of bile that he quickly had to repress, and said, “Senka. It’s, um…moving.”

[Edited for Logic and Continuity]
The drawer resisted of course, but Senka was determined and with an ominous groan the wood around the lock splintered outwards. One final heave and the drawer pulled free. She allowed herself a moment of triumph, before looking inside. A foul smelling powder rose up from drawer, and she ineffectually fanned it away from her face. Ugh. And nothing in the drawer to show for it.
She turned very slowly towards Zeki at his warning, confirming with a glance that he was indeed correct. Her hackles rose.
At least they were moving slowly. But how were they moving at all? From what she recalled of basic biology--never the most riveting subject--plants would move or grow towards nutrients and light (phototropism, if she remembered correctly). Was it some similar, perfectly rationale normal plant behavior--normal plants don’t gobble up people--or were they being…controlled, somehow? Or were they even plants at all? She had her doubts.
“Alright, time to move,” she said firmly, aiming for calm. And then she began to sneeze. And couldn't stop. She sneezed, and kept sneezing, so much that she could barely see. And then she couldn't see at all.
Panicked swelled, and then rage at herself for being so careless. Had she just gotten herself bloody cursed!?
"Ze--"sneeze"--ki, somethi--"sneeze"--powd'r--"sneeze"--can't se--"sneeze"--can't fuckin' see--"sneeze.
Please, please, please make the sneezing stop. Oh, Suits. Can you die from sneezing too much? She groped for something to quell the tears and snot, and felt silk under her hand. She hesitated for a moment--it would be a bitch to clean out later, she thought inanely--then went ahead and used it anyway.

The drawer released a cloud of powder, smelling strongly of petrol, into Senka's face! She'll be sneezing and unable to see for the next 10 minutes...eugh...hope she can find a tissue somewhere. The slow moving plants suddenly halt, almost as though they sensed they were being watched. Careful, who knows what they might, or are even capable, of doing.
Powder Curse: Oh, stealing, were we? Ha, have fun with this, then! Once a week, this SD is now forced to begin coughing out thick, black soot for a full half hour. This process is uncomfortable, makes it hard to breathe, and causes all near them to begin tearing up at the horrible smell. Pah, how awful.

"Senka?" he said, going mildly bug-eyed as she lapsed into a fit. It probably went without saying that whatever had fluttered out of the drawer had been the sort of bad (Corvie?) toy that he had hoped they would all avoid sticking their hands and faces in. What was truly terrible was that she didn't seem to be able to stop--he padded quickly over to her as she stuffed the silk gaments into her face.
"Lemme see," he said, trying to check for other damage while keeping out of the line of sight of the sneezes themselves, afraid the substance might be doing something even worse than causing the sneezing--it seemed her eyes were inflamed a bit, and mostly stuck shut from the force and frequency of the sneezing. There was no water to try to wash anything out. This was going to be hell on her throat. He looked frantically around for something that might at least be a better snot rag than the clothes but nothing was forthcoming.
"I guess we're just going to have to wait it out," he concluded, rather miserably, hoping it stopped soon. "Or I can--lead you out?" Because bugger everything if they really didn't need to get going.

The words swimming around in his head started to become more coherent. Okay, they seemed to be saying it was safe? That was... that was very good. He relaxed on the floor. Not very dignified, but what choice did he have? A few more moments, then he might be able to stand.
"Whuu?" Something was moving? What? Oh, dammit, did they have to move? He still felt incredibly dizzy and weak. He was vaguely aware of the girl's sneezing fit as he focused on standing. Maybe if he pushed himself through it, he could regain his full senses fast. Maybe a little adrenaline would help with that? He stumbled a little, but was able to stand.
"Whu-what's going on?" When impaired, his Highland accent came on thicker than usual.

Comparatively, she had experienced worst pain--emotionally, there was nothing that could compare with the crippling pain of Vishne’s miscarriages; her uncle’s death--but Senka could never remember ever feeling so physically miserable in her life. Her whole body shook with the force of sneezing, muscles cramping, nose and throat raw, eyes puffed, and fur matted with snot and tears.
She cursed herself for being so bloody careless, for being so bent on discovering a reason for their abduction, rather than just dealing with the consequences and getting them out. Now she had made herself a liability, and poor Zeki had to deal with three invalids rather than just two. She would be damned if she held him back.
“L-”sneeze--“lead. Gotta--”sneeze--“get movin’.” She could still walk, even if she couldn't see where she was going.

Blast it all, the Highlander did not seem to be coming around very swiftly. Zeki bit his lip and choked down his growing apprehension. There wasn't any time to wait; he really didn't want whoever had taken them all to come back and find them. They had three Face Cards among them but they had been overpowered once, whose to say it wouldn't happen again?
"We've been kidnapped," he told the bird, as patiently as he was able, hoping all the relevant information would get through the fog. Hanging upside-down for so long really hadn't been good for him, hadn't it? "We're escaping now." He offered a hand to the avian. "You can lean on me if you need to." He turned back to Senka. "You too, Senka." He could manage two people and probably their light too. Being upright with arms had its advantages. Thank you, Dad, you and your wonderful genetics.
He looked back at Mercutio. "Can you get going all right, Mer?"

(For reference, if you like; Zeki is /definitely/ strong enough (and has a broad enough back) to carry Andrei.)
At the far end of the room, slightly behind the dresser, they are able to spot what could be a...very small door, a little ways off the floor. Shoving it aside might gain you entrance...and it's better than dealing with those plant things, right? When opened, it does, in fact, appear to either be an old, lead-lined dumbwaiter, or a laundry chute. Senka can't feel anyone nearby, but it does look awfully dark down there. And someone was trying to hide the little door... Ought you to go down it? There might not even be laundry down there.
