Shift woke slowly, Pan right beside her; upside down and just as confused and dizzy.
What happened? I mean, yeah, Shift, that's a really pretty lady you've got there, but...where'd she come from, and why do you both feel drugged out like Hell? The last thing Shift remembers is heading for a bar after unsuccessfully trying to get a certain bookworm to accompany her. Pan, recalls going to see if she could find that hot Highland mix she'd spotted downtown...only to find her favorite bar empty and smelling...off.
Both are in a dimly lit room, looks a bit like an attic, really; smelling strongly of dust and filth and both can see very little in the dark

The familiar headache and dizziness hindering her attempt to assess an unfamiliar surrounding after drugged out shenanigans pounded against her skull. Day in the life, man. She blinked a few times and stared up at the cobwebby, wood-rafted ceiling. Where was she? She looked around and... ahaww yeah. Hello cutie! Wait a minute... clothing was still on. What the hell? Actually... come to think of it... She couldn't recall even starting on any kind of binge. She sat up then recounted her day. Okay. She woke up after noon slightly hung over from last night's binging and tried to convince her sweet ass little Sugarglider to join her from some midday drinking. Upon rejection, shift just went on her own. Really, she should have let Phaedra take a break from her research to do her errands or whatever instead of insisting upon accompanying her... ANYWAY. Okay. Head to bar. Enter bar. Find it empty (and, thus, booze unattended). Wake up on floor. Either she was getting really good at going from 0 to BLAST-OFF, or someone else drugged her. Having drugged others before, she kind of figured this was what it was like to be drugged. ...speaking of.... She crawled over to the mix beside her and gave her a once over, wondering how long she had to toy with her before she regained full facility of her consciousness. [Uhhh, yeah. Haha. Warning to all those who play here: Shift is not kid-friendly. >> ]

It felt as though someone was taking a club and beating it repeatedly against the inside of her skull, and having a blast doing it. Not to mention she hadn't had a chance to open her eyes yet but already she had a feeling the room was spinning in an unwanted way. Pandora groaned and stretched out her limbs slowly. Well, good. Everything seemed to be attached and working properly at least. Her large Rabbit ears perked forward suddenly at the sound of something shifting very close to her. Snapping awake, Pan opened her eyes and stared up at the Human who leaned over her. Heart pounding in her chest, the lovely Mix fought the urge to scream and kick at the unfamiliar face. At least it was a Female, she thought. "Would you mind getting off me?" she asked the other in a dry tone, attempting to wriggle out from underneath the woman. It took a few seconds before Pan realized she had no idea where the Suits she was. Turning to glance skeptically at the female again, she looked a question at her. Surely not! Surely,....they didn't.... Pan may love to flirt and entice Cards of every Breed, Suit, Rank and Gender to please her ego but she certainly had never slept with a female before. They just... weren't her style. Scrambling to all four dainty paws, she dusted off her fur and tried to regain some dignity in the situation. "Erm, hi there," she started, lamely but in the most feminine voice she could muster. Wouldn't hurt to try and see what kind of female she was dealing with, but she just wasn't sure she was up to seducing a girl. The unusual mix remembered most of the night before. She had gone to find Sascha; the Highland Mix who was always so very kind to her. Too kind, if he knew any better, but she certainly wasn't going to tell him that. Though it was possible she was developing a certain kind of... fondness for the man. She always shrugged off those feelings and put on her mask of damsel in distress; a role which many a men find appealing and willing to bend over backwards to help. But before her was no man. "Who are you? And, where are we?" she questioned in a very soft and scared voice (laying it on a bit thick maybe). Pan took another glance around and frowned in confusion at the thought that this place sure as hell looked like an attic... ((XD No worries on that. Pan is a manipulative Card and would do WHATEVER it takes to get what she wants. So, also not child safe in the right circumstances.))

Well damn. She was awake. She backed up and gave the other woman some space.
"Sahrry, luv. Wuz jes' makin' shoor you wuz aight," she shrugged, her accent coming on a bit stronger in her still hazy state. She activated her Spade ability and looked around the room. "Ah'm Shift, an' Ah'll be ahnest, Ah've no idea wheh' we ah."
She stood and looked around the room. Welp. It was looting time. She looked through draws and cabinets and generally around the room. She could easily justify it if the other girl questioned her. She could also knock a bitch out.
...come to think of it... If whoever did this was coming back, it would most likely be through the door. Shift wanted an escape route for such an occasion. Deactivated her low light vision ability when she got to the window. Sliding open the curtain to afternoon sun would have really sucked. She nudged at the window to see if it would open. Being able to fly was pretty sweet. Combined with being a Hummingbird and a Spade, it made for the best get aways.
Say, what was happening out there?
When activated, she can see black-and-white clearly in the dark. This can be activated and deactivated at will. Should she look at a moderate to bright light with this ability activated, however, she will experience intense pain and be left with a splitting headache for up to one day.

Having a little more room to breathe, Pan dusted herself off and got up on all fours. She did the same as the Human woman, looking around for any indication of where they might be.
"I wish I could say it was a pleasure to meet you, Shift, but under these circumstances I think I'll save the pleasantries for later," she said, keeping her voice feminine and soft, but... still not entirely sure the female didn't have something to do with her....abduction. She mentally noted to keep a sideways glance on her at all times; just in case.
"But, my name is Pandora," she added, flashing the woman a false but lovely grin and batting her eyelashes. She had seen the way Shift looked at her, right when she had woken up. The Mix activated her Basic Magic Ability, just for good measure. Pan thought about activating her Lie Detector ability, but seeing as she could only use it once... The Mix decided to save that one for later. She settled on just playing the Damsel In Distress for now.
Her eyes followed Shift as the woman ran about what appeared to be a dusty, old attic and searched for... clues? That, or she was looking for things to steal. Not that Pandora wouldn't do the excact same thing. She would. But right now her mind was elsewhere.
Joining the Human at the window, she also looked out into what should be the world she was familiar with. Suits, she prayed they were still in the Capital. But surely someone couldn't have moved them too far away with them unconscious. Right? ...Right?
"Can you see anything out there?" she asked Shift, since the woman was taller and had a better vantage point.
((She can act charismatic and persuasive at times, whether or not she actually has the natural charm and grace to pull it off.))

Outside, there appears to be a rather thick fog, coating the entire downtown area and climbing steadily higher. Both were able to witness a thin, gawky Bird mix rushing through it, only to...trip? Fell somehow and never got up again... Never a good sign. A door behind them opens onto a staircase leading down, but there is another door, a rather small one that seems to lead into a completely pitch-black crawl space... Maybe it's worth checking out?

Shift blinked when she saw the man go down. Huh. Well it must suck to be him.
"Nope! Nothin' at all. Jus'a shitton'a fog," she answered Pandora in a casual manner as she let go of the curtain, letting it fall back into place on its own. Her head snapped around at the sound of the door opening. Her eyes narrowed when there was no one there. A hand went to her hip as she considered, her fingers drumming against the leather of her riding chaps. Looked like a trap. Hell, this is the kind of shit I do when I catch people for my own experiments. Oh, and there was even a fucking crawl space.
Nope! She would have none of this. Not it was not worth checking out, examining, or any other synonym. Without a word she turned back around to the window and attempted to open it.

Davy felt his entire body contort, wings furling in on themselves in a painful way, though fortunately not breaking, as he was forced through what felt like a tight, cold tube, before it opened up again and he found himself shooting out, at high velocity, of a small door and halfway across a dusty room. After slamming into the leg of a rather interesting-looking, Human woman, he finally spun to a dazed halt next to an old table, and across from a stunningly pretty mix with strange ears. The small door seems to have vanished with the arrival having shot out of it, and though Shift was unable to budge or break that window, those stairs are still in the back, if you like...

As soon as his wings tucked in on him, he wondered if he'd made the wrong decision. It wasn't normal, what was happening. He was in something cold yet not quite there, a pressure pounding down on him in a way that he thought perhaps some crazy magic was afoot. When he was extruded out into a strange place, it all but confirmed his fear that all kinds of 'what the fuckery' was breaking loose. He chirped when he made contact with a leg, trying to scrabble for footing but to no avail. He spun dizzyingly for several rotations before sliding slowly to a halt in front of… a…
Despite himself, Davy actually managed a ridiculous grin, raising his dizzied, swaying head to look at the interesting mix. "Hi. I'm Davy. Do you find yourself in the middle of all Hell breaking loose? I sure do."
He gave a garish wink before shaking himself off, glancing back at the human he'd collided with. "So. Got any idea where we're at? I got here by falling through a trap door which mysteriously jettisoned me out to where I'm at now. Ain't that a bitch?"

Pandora felt her shoulders slump when Shift told her there was nothing to be seen from the window. Where in the blazes were they, dammit!
Spinning around suddenly at the sound of a door opening behind her, Pan watched the wooden panel swing very slowly away from them. Her large ears twitched backwards in fear; there was no one on the other side of that door, so who exactly... or what had opened it? She wasn't entirely sure she wanted to find out. It seemed as though something was just toying with them. Still, they certainly weren't going to get anywhere by just standing around.
The Mix watched as the other woman went back to the window and attempted to open it. Sighing, she looked around the room and noticed the smaller door. Shift may not be able to fit through such a small opening, but she sure could being as dainty as she was. But the more important question was, did she really want to?
Well, they certainly weren't getting anywhere by just standing around, were they? Taking a deep breath, Pandora reached a delicate paw underneath the mound of fur at her chest and unhooked her Metal Whip from it's hiding place. She'd grown so used to storing it there that she hardly noticed it's weight or bite.
The Metal Whip slowly unwound from her neck, and made small tinking noises as the individual blades hit the floor. It was such a comforting sound right now. Securing the handle in her paw, and draping the rest of the whip over her back for support, Pandora made her way towards the little crawl space.
She stopped just a couple feet from the entrance, "Hello? Is anyone in there? If there is, I'm coming in!" she announced, and made good on the promise.
Though her heart was beating like a little hummingbird in her chest, the young adult pushed herself forward, just in time to see something hurdling out of the space towards her! Letting out a scared shriek, Pan ran backwards as quickly as she could to get out of the way.
As the ball of blue and pink came to a spinning stop just before her, she realized it was another Card! Strange looking young man, with those wings. She couldn't help but chuckle just a little at his smile and wink. "Hello, Davy. I'm Pandora, and even though it hasn't broken loose here yet I feel it is about to."
He was....teleported? Was something like that even supposed to be possible? Pan knew that some very few Cards had such an ability to transport themselves, but... being transported from a trap door? Whoever had done that must have great magical abilities. Pan wasn't so sure she ever wanted to meet such a person, unless they were fond of her of course.
"We woke up here, in this room, together not too long ago. We've never met before now though. The last thing I remember was checking out this bar to see," Sascha, she thought, but cut herself off, "But, nothing else. Shift just looked out the window and can't see anything and apparently it doesn't open. Our only option seems to be those stairs back there," she said, motioning through the room's now only door and out into the hallway.
"I think we should go. It's not doing us any good just standing around here," Pan suggested, gripping tightly on her Metal Whip.
Metal Whip: This incredible-looking bit of weaponry changes form as its wielder does to match them. It will be able to be held by Human, Biped, and Animal forms easily, the grip adjusting each time to her body. It appears to be a whip, though its cord is actually made out of thousands of chunks of metal and serrated glass! They don't seem to be...connected, as one would normally think of it. This is obviously a highly magical weapon. Trying to pry it from the owner's hands will result in the potential thief getting quite a load of horrific, if shallow, cuts, and the whip returning to her hand at once. The whip itself can extend to up to 15 feet long and Pan feels an intense connection with it, able to whip it about with amazing proficiency. The whip, most unfortunately, will not work well against Clubs, seeming to have some unspoken "truce" with the Suit. It will deflect physical attacks (not magical) from them, but will not attack them, nor children. This whip can be put down by magical means, though it will always reform itself within 5 hours after its destruction. It can be torn apart by magical means, but most physical will be...unpleasantly cut up about the situation, if you know what I mean...
