Name: Nevrianna
Suit: Spades
Rank: Ten
Gender: Female
Animal: Bird (Sand Piper) / Reptile (Boa Constrictor) / Mustelid (Mink)
Region: Josiggy Marsh/Calloo Fjords
Dealer: Solistia
Parents: Neviah x NPC
Notes: How odd...even though her Suit and rank marking clearly say 10 of Spades...it seems to have come out in red? What on earth would make that happen?
This lovely little girl was born at the age of 21! She has basic knowledge of culture and proper schooling, though she is no Einstein, and has a particularly wonderful grasp of the language of the Yarrow Gardens for some reason...as well as some of their plants toxins.
The serpent in her is a rare and precious thing, most will stare at her odd mix in awe, snake scales only visible on her underbelly, the rest covered in fine, soft, mink fur.
She is aware of how she came to explode from her Mother and, though she feels poorly, her streak of narcissism sees it as a necessary evil for the world to be able to enjoy such a wonderful thing as she. She despises Lowlanders for what they did to her Mother though, and how Hellish they made her first few hours of life. Given her way, she'd put every one of them down.

Basic Magical Ability: She can run up to 30mph in sprints and 15mph for up to an hour in extended runs.
Moderate Magical Ability: When activated, she can see black-and-white clearly in the dark. This can be activated and deactivated at will. Should she look at a moderate to bright light with this ability activated, however, she will experience intense pain and be left with a splitting headache for up to one day.
Strong Magical Ability: When activated, she can create up to two gallons of drinking water up to two times per day.
Powerful Magical Ability: When activated, she can call forth and dismiss a small familiar that is unique to the individual.

Birds: Birds are a common enough breed, and seen fairly often across the Realms. They are a far cry from hard to find, yet slightly rarer than a Feline or Canine.
Though Marshlands tend not to be a breed-wide favorite, there is not currently a Realm where this breed does not exist or is not welcomed.
Birds can be anything from predatory to a common sparrow, the wide array of variations within them and their incredible difference from many other species gives them a flair for the exotic and makes for interesting mixes. Not quite as adaptable, Birds are much more difficult to find in colder and/or wetter climates. Though they can be found in any Realm does not mean it is easy to locate them there. Finding a member of this species on the Solandrian Glacier is nearly impossible and very few actually inhabit the Mid-Range, though a greater number have taken up in the Sorgaire, it is still less common to find one in the mountains or in the Golfam, than it is to locate one in the Villa or Yarrow.
Reptiles: It is extremely difficult to locate a reptile. They are considered to be a highly cunning and naturally magical breed, and parents are usually excited to receive one. There are two Realms currently, where this breed does not exist or is not welcomed. The Calloo Fjords and the Solandrian Glacier are simply too cold to support reptile life. Though mixes of the coat color may be found in the Capital or through PC and Dealer intervention, they do not exist naturally and one will never come across a Reptile living in these lands.
This Breed will usually appear as either small lizards or snakes, though rarer variations have been seen. Culturally revered as exotic beauty incarnate, the few Reptiles who are found and shown about tend to get a lot of recognition and admirers. Their smooth scaly skin reminds many of soft, Human skin and a subconscious connection to the two is often formed, leading to another branch of the Breeds' popularity.
Not as adaptable as some, Reptiles do exceedingly poorly in the cold and many try to stay out of the deserts and beach areas as well, extreme temperatures are not their forte'.
Mustelids: Mustelids are fairly common. With their lithe shapes, they are viewed as objects of beauty in most cases. there is only one Realm currently, where this breed does not exist or is not welcomed; the Calloo Fjords. Mustelids in the Fjords are regarded as crafty tricksters who will do anything to sway believers into a lifetime of sin and horror due to a long ago high-ranked Priest who led nearly a quarter of the Realm to ruin. Though this breed may exist outside of the Fjord, you can be certain it does not exist within the land itself.
They often come in the forms of weasels, ferrets, and pine martens, though raccoons aren’t terribly hard to locate...and once in a blue moon you may even see a squirrel. Having a propensity for wooded areas, they are slightly more common in places such as Avington and the Forest of Kahmden than they are in open spaces like the Wastes or the Mid-Range. Viewed as common and normal, they are featured in common culture as likable enough and a mix with this breed is far from being out of the ordinary.

Josiggy Marsh: Residents are usually olive green with a yellow and cream brindle patterning along their backs or extremities. On occasion, a lighter shade of cream will make a “belly” marking.
The Josiggy Marsh is a surprisingly rich land; its means of trade are quite lovely and job opportunities seem never to end. A beautiful place, it dips down in the valley of the Sorgaire Range, and the residents generally live in harmony with one another. Interbreeding between residents of the Sorgaire and the Josiggy are some of the most commonly seen mixes in the world. The Josiggy Marsh is full of waterlogged meadows and fertile fields that produce bountiful amounts of rice, corn, and other vegetable and fruit crops most of the year round. It is a popular vacation spot and the residents are only too glad to attract these "tourists" to their Realm for additional income. It rains heavily once every three months for about five days, so many residents own small boats or have exceedingly durable houses. Some will even construct houses out of boats. The residents of the Josiggy have a long-standing cold war going on between themselves and the Lowlands, though no one could now tell you who started the feud. Josiggy dwellers tend to take more offense to the Lowlanders than the other Realm does to them and will sometimes attack a passing Lowlander for little to no reason. Josiggy dwellers are often rich enough to move about where they please and many travel to the Courts or the Capitol in order to pursue a new and interesting job or to seek their fortune. They are often of reliable intelligence and friendly enough with most other Realms, especially those from the Selkie Lakes, whom they regard as fellow traders.

Spades: The Paw
Spades are the second most common Suit, though (unlike Clubs) they can only occur in a breeding if one of the parents is a Spade. Some red Suits will still be wary to breed with one, though, as their chances for Club children still exist in bedding a Spade, something that would cause many of those raised in the red-Suit-mindset shame.
Spades are quick on their feet and reliable as far as their representation in Court proceedings and their tendency to follow the rules laid out for them. Some will mock the Spades Court for its tendency to have a number of Kahmden courtiers, saying that their penchant for rules has rubbed off on the nobility.
Spades are still not seen as being the ideal of what one would desire in society. Though they are a rank above the Clubs, they are still of the same "set" and are often mocked by Diamond and Hearts Courts. Higher ranking Spades, mostly face Cards, are treated with the same respect that anyone would give to a ruler, and aren't frowned upon in the other Courts because of their noble rank.
Spade speed and inherent abilities make them amazing hunters by birth; many have used these gifts in times of war to great advantage and it makes for excellent guards and policemen. Many great assassins and spies have also been Spades, their quick surfeit and ability to see in the dark on a whim making them ideal for the "position"
Their representation, the Paw, refers to both their fleetness of foot and their general personality.
They tend to be "soft" in their punishments and treatments of the lower class, in comparison to the other Courts. They are therefore represented with that symbol, as opposed to one more closely representing weaponry.
Basic Magical Ability: All Spades can run up to 40mph in sprints and 20mph for up to an hour in extended runs, depending on their individual staying power.
