"Oh, I mostly live in the Capital. Sometimes in the Court of Spades. The Capital is more fun though." Joel shrugged. The court was a little boring, fewer people to meet and things to do. He also had to be careful that he didn't knock over anything delicate and expensive, which was less of a worry in the more modest city home.
It was interesting to meet someone else who lived in a court. "I'd like that. I've never been to clubs." He smiled as a thought occurred to him, "I can bring my brothers and sister too, if you want to see them. They aren't always fun to play with, but sometimes they are."
He shifted from one foot to another, his unmatched back hooves clicking slightly on the cobblestones. "I should probably go home before mom and dad start to worry." He said. Leaving when you'd been talking to someone was often awkward, he had found, and he hoped her ears weren't going down like that because she was unhappy about going home. "I'll send you a letter at Clubs or something," He offered cheerfully, "If you want."

"Ah cool!" She said as she pondered a few things. Her Uncle lived at the Court of Spades, maybe he had met Joel before? That would have been pretty amazing. The girl's tail wagged a bit at the thought. "You could bring your siblings along! Or I could visit it you at the Court of Spades, my Uncle works there. I don't visit him often because he's bad with kids but I could still visit."
And then her bubble was popped. She expected it, she should have been going herself, but it was still a tiny bit sad. She didn't like parting ways, especially when they potentially wouldn't be seeing each other anytime soon.
She drooped a bit, but she gave the boy a smile. "Okay! I should get going too." She gave a small wave with her paw. "If you write a letter I would like that."
