Iphis was quite looking forward to the day Zeev achieved a bipedal form (he was sure it would happen; Zeev was very talented, and if Iphis himself could manage it before any of his siblings did, it really couldn't be that difficult), so they could walk arm and arm down the street. The romance of hand-holding, he felt, went entirely underrated; he was fairly confident that birds would burst into exuberant song and things would randomly sparkle, but he wasn't certain.
Maybe Zeev wasn't a hand-holder. Hmm. This was a pickle. He supposed he could always buy some handcuffs so not holding hands would be impossible. He could make them fuzzy and pink. Possibly glitter. But that might be overkill. Nix the glitter. Just make them fuzzier and pinker.
"Ah ha!" he said, shaken from his daydream by the sight of his destination. "Here we go."

Rosewood had finished with his lunch and was ready for his next appointment. It was someone entirely new to him, but from what little he knew they seemed like a fascinating couple. At least it would prove to be an exciting session. He stretched a bit before standing up. Grabbing the trash of his lunch he walked out to the foyer, slipping everything in the garbage behind the counter. "What time are they supposed to get here?" he asked the secretary with a small smile. She looked up from the book she was reading curiously. "A few minutes, The card under your name says that it's open. If they're on time they should be here any minute Mr. Rosewood."He was just being impatient in other words. "Please send them back when they arrive." With that said he slipped back into his office, pulling one of the clipboards off of his desk.

The secretary was pleasant and helpful, and within just a couple of moments they were being sent back for the appointment. Iphis was quite happy about that. He feared being forced to wait in a lounge for any period of time might give Zeev funny ideas about bolting, and he cared far too much about the wolf to let him escape some much-needed brain-healing.
Their therapist sat with a clipboard. Iphis didn't get to enjoy the company of other albinos very often (the citizens of the two realms that usually produced them tended to have better things to do than engage in friendly socializing, apparently; he didn't judge, it just made him sad), and it made him feel a little more at home. Maybe their therapist had some kind of mysterious Tulgey magic.
He gave a cheerful wave. "Hello. I'm Iphis, and--" he gestured to his boyfriend--"this is Zeev."

Ever dutiful, wither he really liked it or not -- though it tended to be in regards to liking it -- he followed his mate. He had to glare at a few of the other citizens that they passed, warning them to back off. He could not count how many times Iphis had been approached while they were out. Though the male had always seemed to complain, for some reason the wolf could not figure out Iphis always seemed to think they only had been wanting to say hi, Zeev was not so trusting of their motives.
After all someone who simply wanted to say hi would not have let their eyes drift south from the females face as often as it had.
When Iphis announced they had reached their destination, heaving a sigh, he opened the door allowing Iphis entrance first.
The person who had sat behind the desk and told them to enter the office, their therapist was already awaiting them, had seemed kind enough.
Following after Iphis he bowed his head in acknowledgment when Iphis took care of the introductions. While the wolf was a little leery of being in such a place he did have to admit that the swan in front of them seemed to be kind enough. Fine . . . he would give it all an attempt. Not that he could really bolt now, blast it.

The swan looked up from his clipboard when the two men entered the room. His eyes widened briefly at the rather pretty one who may or may not have been a man. He paused for a moment after the introductions to set his clipboard down.
"It's very nice to meet you," he said standing up to properly introduce him. "Please make yourself comfortable and take a seat wherever you like."
He gave them both a bright smile. New people were always interesting. This seemed like a very strange couple at the very least. Of course he was one to talk. The man walked over to his desk and picked up a pitcher of water. "Would you two like a drink before we start?"
Of course the swan was more than ready to "get the show on the road" so to speak, but he didn't want to rush anything. Whatever this was it looked fairly complicated at first glance. Taking things slow as sometimes the best approach at a time like this.

Iphis, who was as fond of pleasantries as he was of dear little hats with many colorful feathers in them, said, “I would love some water, thank you.”
Besides, having a drink handy always provided an easy out for when you needed a moment to answer a question without looking silly. It was a very basic social crutch. Iphis himself never really needed a moment to consider his responses (if it was good enough for thinking it was usually good enough for speaking, unless it was something deeply unpleasant!), but he thought that Zeev might like the opportunity.
Though of course, Zeev would probably not care about how it looked. He would just think. And maybe answer. Iphis might need to prod him, on that front. But now was not the time to over-think things. Now was the time to enjoy his glass of water and begin the healing process for Zeev.

Zeev shook his head slightly, holding up a hand to decline the offer of a drink.
The only reason that he had agreed to do this was because he could not deny his Iphis anything. So, for the next hour or so he cooperated. He nodded and shook his head. Iphis would even be proud of his management of a few words. Most of the conversation, however, passed between the Iphis and the swan.
It actually surprised and slightly moved by the sheer amount of information she had gathered about him and his past. It was easy sometimes, well most times, to forget just how observant and relateable the canine was to others. Sure he was a people person – most days he worried more about her talking to strangers than anything else – but all of this.
Zeev was so ready to be done with the meeting once their time was up. Sadly, he was getting the vibe that Iphis was not going to let this go as a onetime thing though. Maybe when they got home he could distract her from need to drag him to the next appointment. Thanking the swan, Rose-something if he remembered right, for everything he had done, he made quick work of dragging Iphis home and getting started on the task.
