...because I am a Heart.
The full useless but somewhat amusing story below:
If it wasn't official before (though Nat has outright said "you are a Heart", so I'm pretty sure that means it was), it is official now.
So Saturday night after a day of rigorous exercise and a ~6 hour shift at work, I noticed that my toe hurt. I was uncomfortable after my exercise, so I decided it wasn't a big deal to go into work. Hey, no big. Sleep it off and it should be just fine for work the next day! Woke up, it's not better. Eh, whatevs. I'll go to work, tell them I'd like to take it easy. take on the work that requires standing in one place instead of walking around. For those who may not know: I am a hostess at a restaurant, so I'm on my feet the whole shift. 7 hour and 45 minutes of work go by, I am uncomfortable. Maybe one more night of rest? My next shift isn't until later in the evening, so it should be alright by then, right?
Well, I wake up and it actually feels a little worse than before. Frustrated, I decided to call in to work, say I'm unfit and go see a doctor. The verdict?
I have a broken toe.
Maybe I just don't break things enough to know, but I feel that this is a bit abnormal. Being on my feet for a full day of work with little more than a limp and being annoyed at not being able to move as fast as I want? I think I have a higher pain tolerance than is normal. I know I have a bad habit of ignoring pain and going about my routine. :T
Anywho, this combined with my infamously sunny (haha) disposition and my love of figuring out how to turn everything into a weapon, it is officially official. If I were a Card, I'd be a Heart. No question.
