Malchiah sat at the water side and dipped one of his talons in, shivering a little at the coolness. He waded in to his knees and ducked down splashing his wings to throw the water over his back. The water flew through the air, sparkling in the sun like radiant diamonds. Malc finished bathing and went back to shore, preening through his feathers. Where were his brothers anyway? They were an odd trio but had decided to spend the day with each other anyways. If only they'd actually show up >.>

Ez stumbled as he ran across the soft ground. He was once again late, and it really wasn't his fault. His father had decided to keep him back to do some more reading (there were somethings he just couldn't get! He liked reading and all but it was hard!) while Zane had gone ahead to meet up with their other brother. What would they do today? He wondered. The lakes were quieter than usual. "Malc!" Ez shouted as he saw his brother in the distance. His joy was cut short however, when he tripped and fell flat on his face. He still hadn't figured out that you were supposed to put your hands in front of you to brace yourself for impact. With this comical development, Zane decided to make an appearance. He was his usual slinking self. A smirk somehow painted on his beak. What else could it be classified as? For a lawful and abiding citizen who didn't question things, he sure was an ass at such a young age. He flapped past the two to dip his feet in the cool water. He continued to ignore the two until he had finished washing his face. "Wonderful day we're having?" he mused at Malc, since Ez was still struggling to get up without bursting into tears of pain. "Sorry we're late, dad had to reteach some stuff to Ezy."The biped manged to scramble over to the two with very little of his dignity left. It didn't matter to him though, he was just happy to be with his brothers. His usual happy expression painted on his face.

Malchiah's tail swished lazily as he preened and suddenly"Malc!" THUMP! He spun around and saw his approaching brothers, one flat down on his face. He blinked rapidly suppressing the urge to laugh, knowing it would probably just make things for Ez worse. As much as he annoyed him, he also loved his brother deeply, he was just so.. . innocent.
Soon the brighter form of his brother Zane came into view and a smirk graced Malchiah's face. Ah Zane. He watched as Zane apparently ignored him to preen in the lake before talking.
"Ah yes quite, warm and whatnot. . Reteach?" One graceful eyebrow lifted into his feathered forehead. "Ah yes, some things are. . harder to grasp than others I suppose."
As soon as Ezekiel was within normal speaking earshot Malc turned towards him with a smile. "How ya doing little bro?" He reached a wing over and ruffled his brothers feathers affectionately. Yes, he did truly love both his brothers, but for very very different reasons.

Ez was more than happy when his brother was affectionate. He knew that sometimes he rubbed his siblings the wrong way with his clumsiness. "I'm okay, better than I was," he smiled at his brother. "Dad's bander nearly got me yesterday."
Zane rolled his eyes as he muttered softly, "Idiot."
"What are we going to do today?" Ezekiel asked with a tilt of his head. "Probably shouldn't piss dad off again, he's still angry at Zane and me for the fence thing."
It was like they were plotting the destruction of the lakes. These boys were probably the worst possible combination known to the lakes. At least they didn't terrorize the other children... just the adults, to their father's dismay.
Youth really was wasted on the young sometimes. Ezekiel was sure it wasn't wasted on him, he would try to stay young at heart forever.
"We could relax for once... or maybe find some interesting residents. Girls perhaps?" he knew that would peak Malchiah's interest. And it would be entertaining to watch Ez make a fool of himself. What wonderful brothers he had. He loved them and all their uses.

Malc n__n'ed at Ez. "Yeah, banders can be bad news. Gotta be careful around those ones."
He shot Zane a bit of a look at his flippant insult. While he didn't exactly disagree, he didn't like saying anything outloud in front of Ezekiel either. A small smirk was given to Zane before he turned back to Ezy.
"I don't know." He pondered for a minute. "You have any ideas?"
Malchiah perked at Zane's suggestion. . . Blinkblinkblink "Girls. . I mean, residents yes. That sounds like fun. Let's talk to some of the locals then." A big grin spread across his beak, infectious. "Yes quite. Let's go boys!"

Ez giggled. "Let's paint the town red then! Who shall be our first victim?"
"Hold it," Zane prevented his brother from sprinting off in the opposite direction. "We should probably come up with a plan off attack first, so to speak. Don't want dad finding out."
Ez looked dejected for a moment before Zane ruffled his feathers a bit. There weren't than many kids their age around--as far as Zane knew. Which meant they had to find some of the slightly younger adults. There were plenty of ladies willing to pinch cheeks, but that's not what anyone wanted.
"Were is the common hang out most of the prettiest non-cheek pinching women around besides the town square. I can't say dad would approve of our adventures." He looked to Ez.
"We could go to the tourist spot," the biped suggested. "But They'll probably be a lot of high ranked cards though, and we know how you hate that Zane."
It was the truth but Zane wasn't going to admit it. He shot his younger brother a glare before looking to Malc. "Got any brighter ideas?"

HEheheh Malchiah chuckled at the euphemism. Ah yes, if he had his way hopefully most of the towns women would be so painted or at least marked by the end of the day. He loved the ladies and quite thankfully, seemed to have the knack of persuading them to spend . . time with him. Though at his age it relatively was still quite innocent.
He grimaced at the mention of the older ladies that seemed to enjoy teasing their cheeks into horribly, red, flustered things. No no, they had to find women closer to their own age. Hummm, but where.
Malc smiled treacherously at his brothers, leaving them in suspense for several moments before unleashing his GRAND!PLAN upon them. Oh woah, was any girl that may be out today.
"Why the beach of course, not the main one, too many tourist types. But that nice one a little ways away? Only locals go there, and who wouldn't want to see. . . the uh. . .'ladies' going for a dip hummm?" Pure evil this one, pure evil.
"Besides. . . It's private, lots of, you know. Secluded areas" Small smirk.

Oh that sneaky bastard. Zane cackle. This would be beautiful to watch the two of them hit on girls, Ez in his special way, and Malc in his... way. They were such an awkward pair, it amazed him what they could do together.
The innocent awkward and the innocent corrupt were the most dangerous pair in the lakes. Zane paled in comparison, as most of the girls simply gave him confused look and walked away. It was probably because he had no reason to hit on them in the first place--he just didn't see the point.
Ezekiel took the initiative and began heading for the local beach down the way. The biped was still slightly wobbly when it came to walking on sand--being awkwardly proportioned didn't entirely help. He enjoyed this grand master plan, that was for sure. It would be fantastic, with all the local girls... but one day he would try to make friends with some tourists. That would be interesting at least--probably when he was older.
Oh what a wonderful trio.

Malc bounded after his little brother bouncing about in the sand a little before looking around and acting more mature. He bobbed as he walked in typical bird fashion. And although he pitied his brother's inability to walk in his biped form, he also wished for one for himself.
He shrugged off his thoughts and toddled on beside his brothers.
"We're almost there boys!" He straightened up a bit as the land beside the water began to turn sandy and voices and splashing could be heard in the distance.
"heheeh here we go." He hopped forwards ahead of his brothers.

They quickly passed the horizon line to see numerous residents their own age playing on the beach and in the water. Their parents were somewhat in the distance sunning themselves or chatting each other up.
It was a perfect stage for the Brotherhood.
A joyful expression crossed Ez's face. He let out a small squeal of joy as he watched all the fun and games laid out in front of him. He wasn't sure where to start either. He looked to his brothers for guidance.
Zane eyed the scene. Plenty of sensible girls and senseless girls around to make an interesting mix. He watched as two girls splashed in the water, destroying a sandcastle they had probably made. They might be interesting to talk to at least.
"See anyone we recognize?" Ezekiel suddenly asked. The expression painted on his face wasn't the usual joy it was one of sheer worry. What is one of the adults caught them without Dad? Would they actually look over and catch them? "What if we get caught?" he squeaked.
