"Pah," Pascha responded, his voice muffled as his beak was happily warm under his arm. "That's what you hope." He sunned himself for a few more minutes until his body was sufficiently warm enough, as it had cooled considerably after being in and under the tree, which was shady. To further keep himself warm he stretched his wings out to their full length (thankfully Ader and Malc were off far enough to the side that they wouldn't get hit, though it would be close) and crooned at how good it felt.
After a few seconds he heard Ader clearing his throat, so he turned his head around (ah, how he loved being an owl) in order to raise an eyebrow at the mouse. "Sorry if I'm boring you?"
He had no idea that Malc had been checking him out, no matter how much he didn't want to, nor that Aderlass had noticed--in fact, it didn't occur to him in the slightest that his position was anything other than normal. Pascha liked laying on the floor, simply because he could, and he did it so much around Aderlass that he didn't realize it was.. different.. for Malchiah.

Malchiah was slightly horrified to see as he forced his gaze back to Aderlass that the mouse was watching him, watching the owl. Oh. . great. A flush of redness raced up his chest and neck settling firmly on his cheeks. He was definitely not making the best impression ever and yet, his heart felt elated at the job that was awaiting him. He would be the best assistant the palace had ever seen. The Sparrow could just see himself, officially greeting visitors to the court of clubs, leading them to the Queen's chamber for private meetings.
All the girls in the court would be falling all over him, as he was a direct assistant to the Queen. Oh yes, and. . He didn't let his gaze move back to the owl but he blushed just a little harder again; he wouldn't mind working around him either, by the looks of it.
"Your Majesty, might I ask uh, when I start? Where. . I start?"

At Pascha’s comment about his being sorry for being boring, the mouse could only respond with a laugh. The owl was never sorry when he used a tone like that, and nothing the mouse did would get the owl to be otherwise. On top of that Pascha was never someone who was boring to be around, the idea alone made him laugh harder. Oh yes, yes this was definitely going to turn out to be interesting to watch.
“You can start work tomorrow. I will be in my office at one. Anything before ten is not suppose to exist, so you can have the time before then to yourself as long as I do not need you. As for your living quarters here in the Capital you ccan see the attnedent about that, just inform them that I sent you and they will see to you.” The mouse replied to his question . . . or was that questions?

Pascha blinked at Malc as he stuttered for no apparent reason, but shrugged and turned his head back around to it's normal position. It was so much fun to use that, but the bird didn't even notice, so what was the point in continuing to do so? And why did he keep calling him the bird?
Eventually, as no answer came to him, he shrugged mentally and began the process of getting up. His wings were very lax from being nice and warm so he had to stretch them out until they seemed to be able to work again. Then he had to sit up and roll the kinks out of his back that had formed from lying on his stomach for so long, and then had to get up without falling over.
Once the owl had worked his way to his feet he leaned up against the tree and idly watched Aderlass and Malchiah finish their conversation, and began wondering if he would get any lunch anytime soon.. He was probably going to have to train the silly bird, and feed him as well.. gah!

Malchiah nodded in understanding. Not before ten, sounded like his sort of job. The sparrow had the habit of sleeping in and this seemed to suit him just fine. It'd even give him a chance to zip down to the kitchens and grab himself some breakfast. Perfect.
"That sounds wonderful your Majesty." He said with a soft smile.
His eyes watched the owl get up but he quickly diverted his gaze back to the Queen. He knew the mouse had already noticed his wandering eyes and refused to be caught again. Tension sang between his shoulders from the effort to not turn and just STARE at the white male. Why why why did this need to be happening? He never noticed guys but. It could be how very small and petite he was, while those muscles roiled beneath hi. . NO Malchiah shut off his thoughts with an even bigger somewhat pained smile.
He stood himself and did a low bow to apologize for rising without permission. "I believe I must be on my way, if I'm to start tomorrow I need to be settling into my new home." The tension and continued and finally Malc gave in and stretched rather largely to try and relieve that feeling in his back. He bent over near backwards with the stretch before going forwards, hunching his shoulders. His chest tensed as he urged the knot between his shoulders away, then stood to full height. His rather amazing posture pushing his chest forwards and shoulders back and down.
Living on the streets and off the land had definately toned him down to a somewhat too lean, but muscular figure.

He did not make a comment when the Sparrow rose without permission. It was just them out here in the garden so he took no offense to it. He watched the display the Sparrow made knowing it was not for him and being amused all the more for it.
“Understood. Good luck settling in. I will see you tomorrow then.” He said nodding his head, in way of dismissal. The Sparrow was free to leave or stay now, depending on his wish.
When the Sparrow had left he waited for a moment before glancing over his shoulder to the owl. “I do not know about you but I am getting a little hungry. Wot say you we go find food?” He stated towards the owl, gathering up the letter he was reading and slowly pulling himself to his feet. Once they had started on their way he sent the owl a sly look from the corner of his eye. “So . . . um . . . wot do you think of him?”

Pascha, unlike Malc, didn't realise that he was staring, or that Aderlass potentially might notice him not-staring. He did, however, realise that he wanted to look at Malc, and that was reason enough for him to blink, then readjust his gaze elsewhere. He definitely didn't want to want to look, if that made any kind of sense.
The owl watched idly as Malchiah left them, then turned to leave with Aderlass to head off to get some food. "Agreed, I could use a sandwich."
.. What did he think of him? Pascha was tempted to reply with, 'Who?' just to be a snot, but thought better of it. Aderlass could turn that one around against him far too easily. Instead he put on a cool facade and replied, "....eh." Nondescript, and not even a word. It fit perfectly.
.. but why was Aderlass laughing at him?
