[OOC: Feel free anyone who wants to join, to join, however people who do join must post in posting order. Let me know if you don't want anymore people to join as well. I can always start another post if people want to rp with Severus.]
Severus tried to pretend he wasn't hurt, but the fact was that he was hurt. He knew his mother didnt need the supplies she had sent him to get. He could see clearly why she had sent him though, he was becoming far to demanding on her and her time. He was soaking up knowledge like a sponge and always asking more and more questions, demanding to be told more. He doubted that his mother had much more to teach him, that or she was growing very tired of his demanding ways and was attempting to save lessons for later by sending her away from her. Or maybe she just didn't want him around anymore? He didn't really know the real reasons, all he knew was that this was an old list, and that he had seen all the ingridents on this piece of parchment she had given him in the shelves at home. He wasn't used to being pushed away by his mother. He needed her, probably more then the other children. His quest for knowledge, as well as his own inner insecurities left him nearly constantly at her side. He supposed she wanted him to leave for a moment to spend time with his sisters, or god forbid, his brother Vertumnus. He snorted at the memory of his brother, who made his life a walking paranoid nightmare. Tumnus knew just the things to say to make Severus hate him, and his brothers fasination with proving that he was somehow evil was unnerving and made him question himself often. Did he really have moral ambiguity? Even at such a young age? He pushed it out of his mind. He was now in the heart of the city, where the shops lay in waiting for him to look through them and buy his unneeded supplies. He got some strange looks, even from other Corvistowneians which left him feeling uneasy. He was a strange mix of Deer and serpent, and on top of that, his region mix was a bit weird as well. He was scrawny and weak looking, which lead people around him to look for what might be a parental figure, though Severus could easily take care of himself. He had many powers at his disposal, and it was the only reason his mother let him out alone at all. She never let the other children wander off alone like she did Severus. He stopped infront of a strange shop he had not thought he saw before, staring at what looked to be a pickled human hand in a jar of greenish liquid. Intreging, though also slightly unnerving. Who had the hand belonged to?

"I heard that belonged to someone who betrayed the Queen of Hearts," a voice said from behind Severus. Solo stood there, his coloring just as unusual as Severus', his mixed breed just as strange. Though his color patterns were probably almost possible for someone from Corvistowne, except for the fact that he didn't know if purple was one of the colors that they came in with the black. He grinned roguishly at the other boy, his half-brother, though he didn't spend too much time around him. Normally Severus was with his father - the snake-deer's mother - while he spent most of his time with his own father, helping him craft the various mechanics he was testing. "Yeah, I heard the Queen found out and went bat-shit crazy, and utterly obliterated the guy. I mean, he had human form and everything, so he was pretty high ranking, but that didn't stop the Queen. You've heard the rumors, right? About how nuts he is?" The cat-deer smirked, the rings in his hind legs chiming cheerfully. "Or maybe you haven't heard the rumors. There's plenty of them out there, though. Maybe some time you should pay attention to them."[ooc: *big, cheesy grin* Solo's a brat!]

A rather noticeable white and blue form walked down the street. He bobbed as he walked, back and forth until the point if anyone watched they'd almost get motion sickness. His long very un-birdlike tail swished back and forth with his movement as he continued forwards. Malchiah had eyes only for the clockwork and engineering that adorned the city. The inhabitants made him a little uncomfortable, but the things they could make! He had gained a love of learning from his father Theo and yet, it was a tempered love. He could study, but he could also go out and mess around with friends. It wasn't his life, but a major passion nonetheless. His eyes wandered away from the clockwork and he saw two very interesting children in front of him. He halted in his walked tilting his head sideways in consideration for a minute before rushing forwards. "Hey guys! Great day isn't it. . .what are you doing?" Peers around to try and figure out what they're doing.

A voice that was very distinctly Solo's came from behind Severus as he stared at the slowly moving hand within the bubbling green jar contents. He turned his long and almost snake-like neck around, not bothering to face him completely, giving his half brother a raised eyebrow in responce. "Traitor to the Queen of Hearts?" he said with a certain skepticism mixed with sarcasm that was so characteristically Severus' own way of speech. He looked back at the jar a bit. He listened to his half brother all the meanwhile, considering his words though with the arrogance of one who knew better. "I have heard of the Queen's ways, as I believe most have." again with the condicending voice, even at this age he seemed to feel he had the right to talk down to people it seemed, it made one wonder if it would grow worse with age. "And I hardly think they are rumors. Rare occurences at the very least, but not rumors. Power gets to peoples heads. My dear brother, surely you have heard of the saying 'Complete Power, Corrupts Completely'?"
It was then that he chose to turn around to face his brother, his eyebrows still raised in a sort of 'Are you seriously this ignorant?' kind of way. Surely his mother didn't only educate him? Surely she spend enough time with her other offspring to have them know the going ons of the court and the ways of power? Maybe he really did have to leave her to the other children more often, that or Solo was being as condicending to him as he was now being to his brother, and that just wouldn't do. In looks Severus could hardly best anyone, but intellegence was a whole nother matter.
Just as he was about to speak to his brother more, a Selkie Lakeian came upon them. All bright eyes and, if he had been a mammal, bushy tailed was he. Again an exaggerated eyebrow raise was prompted, his lips pressed firmly together in a less then interested look. He looked over to the bird and decided to be 'polite'. "Quite." Severus said in responce to the other's exclimation on how the day was, before continuing to answer the second part of the question, sounding no less annoyed though masking with his usual condicending tone, "We were looking at the jarred hand in the window, speculating as to it's origin." He pointed to said object with his serpentine tail, his eyes not wavering from the bird.

Severus was not the only one out on a search for supplies, although the supplies the two were after were probably quite different in nature as well as their approach to getting them. The ingredients the rat was after were living and not going to be used for any sort of potion, but an experiment of sorts. He was slinking through the more shadowy parts of the town trying to keep to himself best he could. Sickly yellow eyes, oozing with somewhat thick green gunk were constantly watching the movements of others around him but it was his ears that brought him to the group of.... unattended half pints. Children? Oh how Osias loved children. There were two, no three here if he was correct. He lifted his head, scenting the air. Two were related and one was not... however no other similar scents hung on the air. Perfect. He listened to their conversation and then a toothy smirk appeared upon his muzzle as he stepped forward a bit only moving out of the shadows enough for that cut, scruffy muzzle of his to appear out of them. It's also been rumored that the hand can grant you five wishes, for a price. A remnant of the previous owners power.... He wondered briefly if any of these children had been told of this legend and, upon closer inspection, only the snake mixed one might know it... the other two didn't seem the sort... but stranger things had come across his path. (( I couldn't resist... XD ))

Malchiah smiled as the others turned their attention to him. He peered curiously through the window at the hand, intriqued by it as much as he was disgusted. His bright eyes blinked a little as he tilted his head, as if this would somehow make it reveal it's secrets. "Well. . it does at least appear to be real. Disgusting really." He said with a bit of a shake of his head.
It was then that the rat came upon the group. Malc turned at the sound of the other and instantly recoiled a little at his appearance. Well! If the hand wasn't bad enough. Of course his manners were such that he wouldn't say anything but really! What was something like that doing out and about, sneaking up on poor children?. . . Not that he was a child.
He looked at the other two, a little nervous to actually respond to the rat. Hell, it looked like the rat might just up and eat them all. "Well . . Rumours are rumours I suppose."

"The saying goes, "Absolute power corrupts absolutely," not completely," Solo said, with that grin still quite firmly in place, and one could almost imagine that, if he had hands, he'd ruffle Severus' mane, apparent greasiness be damned. "Mom likes to tack, "Study hard, be evil" to the end of that, but he's just a little nutters." Like Solo was one to talk on a subject like that, as "nutters" as he tended to act. Well, that was usually just him being bratty, not necessarily nutters.
He turned and grinned welcomingly at the Selkie Lakes bird, nodding in agreement to Severus' assessment of what they were doing. Well, he was also harassing his half-brother, but the two actions weren't mutually exclusive or anything. "I don't know about the whole "great day" thing, though. It's kinda bright for my tastes." Green eyes peered up at the sky, which was really considered bright anywhere after one lived in Torquehelm for a good percentage of one's (admittedly short) life.
And then something else caught his attention, and the little mixed-Breed turned to regard the rattish adult that stared at the trio, his own gaze reflecting a combination of curiosity and amusement. He'd never really seen too many Lowlanders before, or at least, he'd never gotten the chance to talk with many of them, as most of Maxwell's efforts were directed toward various Corvistowneians as opposed to anyone else. "Wishes, huh? That'd be cool, but what's the price? If it outweighs what you get from the wish, there really aint much of a point, is there?"

( I think it's my turn... n.n; So after this I think order = FP, Shini, Spiderfly, Me ... mmyes?)
Seeing that he'd sparked some interest from the youth's he ventured out of his shadowy hide away and smirked at them, keeping his charm levels rather low, this wasn't the type of story that one would need to charm the toes off of the audience after all. His short, wiry coat was surprisingly clean looking, lowlander or not the 6 of Diamonds liked to keep a somewhat presentable look about him when out in public, and his eyes, handsomely golden as they were, still oozed that sickly greenish yellow color... which most found quite revolting.
He took a better look at the three, finding only one of their regions to be aggravating, he wasn't entirely fond of those excessively fluffy lake landers, but he could deal with this crowd quite nicely. "As legend goes there is actually a part of it that calls to a user, generally one who is excessively greedy or weak willed, and it drives them mad with desire once attained. If you own it... you -have- to use it. And the magic used to create it was dark, leaving it's own magic as a double edged sword, especially the less specific your wishes are. "
He smirked, peering over at the hand. You see... it doesn't actually create anything...
