"Don't worry about getting off topic. I get off topic all the time, it's much more fun that way," He said while he skipped to the door. What a lovely lady he had the pleasure of meeting today. He wanted for her to pay for her goods before opening the door for her.
Rocky waited until they were outside again before he continued to speak. "Have you applied your electricity to living experiments or what? I mean, I had to use a bit of electricity after grafting on my wings. They needed a bit of a jolt to energize the electrical impulses that cause muscle movement and all that." He shrugged. He had theories that electricity could be used in more than just mechanics, but he was in no way interested in experimenting with it beyond that. Chemicals he could deal with on a regular basis. "Oh yes, can I get your bags? It'll probably be easier for you to navigate that way."

Parvana giggled softly to Rocky's cheerful words, watching him skip ahead while she quickly paid for her supplies. Once done she hurried after Rocky, smiling cheerfully.
Stepping outside into the fresh afternoon air, Parvana was thankful that she could now focus on someone in particular rather than the mass of staring strangers. The recent shattering of her sheltered lifestyle left her undeniably unnerved, but Rocky was proof that venturing outside had its ups. Finally having friends aside from her parents and their rare acquaintances would be just lovely.
When Rocky offered to take her bags, the female smile even more brightly. "Why yes, thank you Rocky." She passed her bags off to him before musing on his words once more. Come to think of it, she hadn't really done work with living subjects yet. "I'm afraid I haven't yet, though I have heard of a great many uses in that area. In fact, I'd like to one day to my studies to a more medical level than purely electrical or mechanical."

"That would be an interesting thing to do. Maybe one day I want to apply my flight study to helping people, though I don't know what exactly." The raccoon shrugged. He looked over at the butterfly curiously.
"How far is your lab by foot? I can't imagine that you walked the way here... since you have wings and I imagine it would be easier. If you want you can go ahead and I can walk if you give me directions. I have a pretty good sense of were things are." Rocky was at least confident in his sense of direction. It was one of the few reliable things besides his intelligence. Even then he had his moments of complete and utter dumb. Who didn't? Well, geniuses in Corvistowne probably didn't, but even then they had something weird with them. Everyone had some crazy quirk even if they were as flat as a pancake.

Rocky really was a very kind boy, wasn't he? Offering to help out and all. Parvana blushed faintly and dipped her head kindly. She lived quite a way away though and he'd probably have a bit of trouble finding it. Ah... That was quite problematic, wasn't it? Walking there herself would be problematic as well, but perhaps she could fly along with him?
Such a casual flutter wasn't all that hard, really, and would help get them there a bit faster.
"It's quite far, I'm afraid... and yes, it's also a tad easier to reach by flight. It's a bit outside of the general city area, as my father was rather reclusive, but I could give you directions if that would be helpful."
She smiled at him, toying with the idea. Flying ahead would give her the chance to straighten up a bit!

"Yes! I could follow directions pretty easily. I know the area around here pretty well." He grinned. Even though he was bad at following directions he was pretty sure that he could follow these. They weren't that far away from the edge of this little city.
And carrying the bags wouldn't be difficult. At least she shopped light. He had never met someone who specialized in electricity before. It was quite an interesting field he was sure. It did light most of the houses around the realms, and kept things cold and so forth. It was quite a widespread thing. He could only wonder what medical applications it could have. He knew it packed quite a punch from his wings. He imagined electricity could do quite a bit of damage to the body, but what would it do to help the body?
But that wasn't what he should be pondering! He should be paying attention to directions. Good job Rocky.

Once Parvana was certain that Rocky could follow her directions, the lovely butterfly took smoothly to the air and sailed above him toward her home. For a few brief moments she watched him dwindling beneath her before focusing her attention back on flying. Flying would definitely allow her to get home ahead of him and to clean up some of the mess that she had previously allowed to get ahead of her.
She had never imagined her home to be as big as it truly was until she finally had to live in it alone. And clean it for that matter. Alighting on the door step she unlocked the door and hurried inside. There wouldn't be too much time difference between where she had left Rocky and her home, so she would have to clean quickly.
Meanwhile, once Rocky approached, he would find her home was not only on the edge of the city but rather apart from it too. The concrete jungle that owned most of Corvistowne fell away here and trees sprung up. The whole yard was carefully tended and an orchard of fruit trees adorned the front while the back consisted of an even more well cared for garden in the back. He would not be able to see the flowers, but when the wind blew just right he could probably smell them.
They had been her mother's pride and joys and Parvana was determined to keep them all just as she'd left them, evening going so far as to hire a gardener where she wouldn't bother to hire cleaning help.
(Ha, my Parvana muse is finally functioning properly. >_> Please kick me if I lag again.<3)

It took Rocky a little longer than it should have. When he spotted the house his eyes widened. There were a few houses set apart from the actual cities. Usually they belonged to rich families who had too much money to spend. He was a little taken aback by how well kept the garden seemed to be. This house wasn't falling apart like most.
Rocco felt very out of place as he hopped up the stairs to the front door and knocked. He waited for Parvana to answer, his tail twitching the whole time. He really was bad when it came to rich people. He had no manners for such occasions, and he was generally too happy for them to deal with him. He had been good so far about containing himself, but he was bound to screw up. He always screwed up. That was just the way things worked with Rocky and People.
(( OOC: XD I um. Totally forgot this thread existed. ))

Parvana didn't make Rocky wait long before answering the door, the delicate female rather anxious about having company over. Thanks to her parents overly sheltering ways she had never really had a boy over before. It felt oddly taboo. That thought, on the other paw, made her feel very much like a Yarrow Girl and she quickly discarded that as well. There was nothing wrong with having a friend over. Her parents were not here to lecture her on being unladylike.
When the door swung open he would find that it was cozy inside and less grand than the outside, thankfully. It still hair Airs about it as her father had lavished himself in fine things but it was becoming increasingly more like the homes so common in the city: neglected.
Neglected for the new love Parvana had found once her parents were gone: research and experimentation. Only their basement lab had been closed up after the fire that had taken them both and Parvana had to instead use other rooms. They worked just as well and their biggest downfall would become quickly obvious: her work leaked into the entire of the house. Or, at very least, the rooms she frequented most often.
Books were stacked on one side table, but the coffee table was scattered with papers held down by little weights and clips. The kitchen fared little better. By far the worst room of the one story 'doll house' was the little sun room that Parvana had taken as her own personal 'study'. It had a clear view of the backyard and all its various flowers and, when it stormed, she could watch the lightning arch across the sky.
"I... Sorry about the mess." She blushed a little, stepping aside to let the raccoon in. "I'm not used to living by myself and I've...well, I've sort of made a mess of the house."

Rocky blinked a few times at the lack of an actual mess. "Well... it's a lot cleaner than my house." Most Corvies had horrible organizational skills, and Rocky was one of the extreme cases. Even if he could find everything he needed, at first glance his house was an utter mess. The raccoon padded into the room and glance around.
He felt very small in comparison to this house. His house barely had two floors not including the basement and including his attic which he considered his bedroom. He thought his house was big until he stepped into this one. Talk about reality smacking you over the head with a hammer. Thanks.
"But if you need help organizing I guess I could. It's not really hard to clean house, I'm just generally lazy and don't bother." He shrugged as he looked back at the butterfly. What an unusual person she was.
