Rocky's reassurance seemed to relieve Parvana quite a bit. She had been raised rather strictly by highly over protective parent and messes hadn't been at all acceptable, especially not with guests over. It seemed, however, that she was truly more of a Corvistowneian than she thought she was. That was...almost reassuring. For too long she'd felt apart from things, it was nice to 'fit in'. Or, perhaps, it was just nice to socialize.
"Oh, no no...That's not necessary. I'm really, the only one here... If it doesn't bother you too much, than I'll keep it as is. I know where everything is and until the part of the library that was damaged in the fire...well, there's nowhere to really put it."
The house wasn't really too large. One and a half stories, a wide ground floor with a loft mingling with the attic upstairs. The basement had been her parents' combined lab and the rest of the house had mostly been for show. Or for her Father's comfort. Parvana wrinkled her nose slightly as she looked around at it. It was too big, too big for her all by herself and, if she had known Rocky's feelings, she would've agreed heartily with them. Small very much described how she felt in this home that had been more of a prison than a home all these years.
"O-oh yes," she tore her thoughts away from the house and focused on Rocky, "is there anything I can get you while we talk? Something to drink? to eat?"

"If you have some green tea, that might be nice, I may need a bit of caffeine to work properly today," Rocky grinned. He really hadn't expected to be working, so a bit of caffeine would be a good idea. At least it would make him focus just a tiny bit more than going "EEEE! WINGS!" over the whole situation.
"And if you don't have any, I suppose I'll just have some water," he said as he looked around the place. Wait? Fire? The raccoon turned around before Parvana left the room, "If it's not prying... do you need help fixing up the place where the fire was? I mean. I'm pretty sure I know a place that would fix it for pretty cheap. If not I could probably do it myself if there was no structural damage. I can fix a few things if I try hard enough. It could totally be payment for helping me out with my flight research."

Parvana paused in the doorway, blushing and looking just a little sad. The fire... She'd satisfied herself to never look at it again but... but maybe getting some help fixing up that damage would be really very nice. Really, though, what Vana really wanted was to move out to The City and live with her Uncle.
Being alone drove her absolutely up the wall!
"That's not necessary, Rocky... I, don't really go down there all that much." She was about to continue into the kitchen until a sudden thought came to mind. Oh... Perhaps... "Maybe though," she spoke up suddenly, turning back to face him. "I was thinking of moving out to The City soon, perhaps you can lend me a hand then? That would be really wonderful." She smiled delicately, full of nervous sweetness. Parvana hated asking things like that of people, it just didn't seem polite.
"As for Green Tea, though, I'm sure I have some. I'm rather partial to it myself." She hurried into the kitchen, search around for a few moments, and finally was able to find the tea packets and get the tea brewing. "We had some, Rocky!" She called back, gathering sugars and creams and even a few coffee cakes. "Is there anything else you'd like?"

"Oh sure! I can help with something like that!" Rocky said cheerfully. He hummed as he looked around at the various things not quite scattered in her work place. She seemed like a very nice girl. Electricity was a very nice field to go into too. He had to wonder what she was planning to do. Big things could come of her research.
Then again big things could come from anyone's work if they tried hard enough. Whatever. The raccoon shook his head and returned to what he was supposed to be focusing on. "Oh no, I'm perfectly fine! We should probably get on with what I'm here for so I don't have to bother you for much longer. You have things to do, I'm sure. Everyone does. Now... I wanted to ask you about how you fly."
And Rocky so kindly flew into one of his scientific rants.
