Amusement colored her expression for a few moments at his unhappy tone, disappearing immediately as until the barest licks of flame edged his coat. Hmm. The Morganberry might have more power than he realized...

Souris smiled easily, assuring him,"No, Anatolius, I don't mind" immediately. She couldn't afford to alienate any male who could wield power effortlessly, or have the potential to wield power effortlessly. She didn't have the skill. Not yet. She watched quietly as he took an absent step away from her, favoring the Forest canine.

Giving her the time to catch Dilis' reply."Thank you, Dilis", Souris smiled back, equally saccharine."So tell me, Dilis, what brings you over to the Capital City?" she wondered idly, as Anatolius echoed her question, her mind racing as she sought to frame a reasonable answer. One that wouldn't get Anatolius' hackles up.

The mouse's expression did brighten up, at Alona's answer, however. She'd dearly love the chance to explore the Capital City. And here she'd just been given the perfect excuse,"Yes, I'd love to discover the Capital City!"she agreed immediately.

Prehaps she would learn something useful somewhere along the way.

(Dilis is leaving the thread, I am trying to close up her threads before she turned Jack.)

Dilis began to get worried, it was getting darker and she worried Father would want her home soon. She did not want to be rude but she would have to take her leave of the group. Picking up her book she turned back to them.

“Well, I am sorry but it would seem I need to be heading home now. I told Father I would only be reading for awhile in the city and I promised I would not be too long. He gets terribly upset when I am away from home so long. I did enjoy meeting all of you though, thank you for your company… Anatolius, would you mind terribly escorting me to the border though? I really do not like walking alone when it is getting dark out.” She asked sheepishly. She did not tell many people but she was kind of afraid of the dark.

Anatolius was a great deal more aware of his ability than the mouse would ever realize. It was an illusion, nothing more, and so he didn't tend to worry himself with it. The flame flickered into existence when he was angry but it'd never do any damage. Just flicker and smolder and look intimidating.

He was glad, though, when she relented her annoying pushing. Bah! The Courts! Why did she care anyway? She was a Spade and he a Club, they would most likely never interact if they were Courtly sorts. At least, that was Anatolius's assumptions.

When Dilis mentioned having to leave, however, Anatolius dampened his expression and smiled reassuringly. "I wouldn't mind at all, Dilis... I wouldn't let a lady such as yourself wander around by herself." He glanced back to Souris and Alona, grinning. "How about I give you a small tour once we drop Miss Dilis off?"


(Is it alright by everyone else if we close it up here with the assumption that An walks them to the border and then shows them around? I'm attempting to clean up my overly large list of threads. @_@; )
