Pascha happily went about his business, humming whatever came to mind under his breath as he went along. He had to clean up Ader's desk because it was a mess again, dig up some lunch for Malchiah and himself, go see if Malc was doing his paper work right, talk to Ader about.. something, he couldn't remember what. He made his way into Ader's suite and sat down to start tidying up, his thoughts not precisely on the task in front of him. Why, for the life of him, he had this insatiable urge to constantly follow Malc around, he had no idea, but it was becoming increasingly harder for him not to, to the point where he found himself hiding in interesting and odd places just in order to see what he was doing. It amused him to some extent to see how close he could get without being unnoticed (who didn't want to be a ninja once in a while?) but it also scared him that he kept doing it. Not to mention Pascha had the sinking feeling that Malc knew he was being stalked, and appeared to have no qualms with it. Once the owl realised that he'd spent the last few minutes thinking about Malc and wasn't doing a very good job of organizing the desk at all, he let his head fall to the surface with a loud thump and simply sat there, cursing under his breath.

The mouse entered his suite. The day’s work had been short, thank goodness, and with all the new helping hands around the place it was thankfully getting easier on everyone. Not seeing the owl he figured that Pascha was out stalking his newest personal assistant. The owl seemed to have taken quite a liking to the lad. It was odd for the owl to attach himself to anyone, usually he seemed to remain quiet and shy away from anyone he did not know. So for him to go about . . . stalking was the only word that came to mind, the Sparrow was interesting indeed. And after the looks the Sparrow had been sending the owl’s way whenever Pascha walked into a room, he was wondering just what was on both of their minds. Nothing in full detail, mind you, just general curiosity. Walking over to the are where his personal desk was he spotted Pascha with his head lying against the desktop. Arching a brow it soon became obvious that the owl was not aware he was here. He could not resist the opportunity. Sneaking forward he made sure his footsteps were light enough so the owl would not pick up on them. Inching forward he made his way closer to the owl till he was close enough, at which point he reached out and tapped the bird on his shoulder.

Pascha heard nothing, he was so wrapped up in his thoughts that when Aderlass startled him--and he indeed startled him--he flew out of the chair with a yell and wound up on his backside on the floor.
The owl stayed where he was for a few minutes, scowling absently, before he muttered, "I hate you some days, do you know that?" and then sat up, though he didn't get up from the floor. "May I help you, oh-creepy-one?" Was his next very sardonic comment, as he didn't appreciate losing his thoughts nor winding up on his behind.
Granted, Pascha enjoyed doing the same type of things to others, but it was never quite as much fun when it was played on yourself. It wasn't his fault that Malc and Ader were fun to prank! .. and random guards.. and passerbys.. Pascha just couldn't help it sometimes.

Looking down at the small owl the mouse only felt the slightest twinge of remorse for scaring the lad as he had. It was not enough to stop him from doing it again if he had the chance, but for credit it was there.
Holding his hand out he helped the owl off the floor he shrugged a shoulder. “No reason besides the fact that a chance arose.”
After helping the owl up, he placed the file he was holding into its home. “We are all done for the day unless something comes up.” He replied as an explanation as to why he was here and not in his official office doing his Queenly duties.
“So what was it that you were doing before you decided that my desk was the best place to take a nap?” he asked his tone showing he was teasing rather then investigating.

Pascha grumbled as he accepted the help off, and began dusting and readjusting his feathers. The owl wasn't particularly vain, but he didn't appreciate looking like he'd been scared witless, regardless of whether or not he had been. "Thanks," He responded sarcastically.
What was he doing? "Cleaning your desk off," Or, trying to. Kind of. It was more like 'getting distracted by my persistant, annoying thoughts while cleaning your desk off', but to say that aloud would only incite Aderlass to inquire on the nature of his thoughts and, well.
He was getting enough sly looks from the mouse as it was, and the whole situation was just confusing, so he didn't want to make it any worse. "It gets messy constantly, even though I clean it once a week." How, he had no idea--Aderlass didn't seem like the type to leave messes around, but perhaps that was because servants always cleaned up before anyone noticed.

He gave the table a look of disgust. “Pascha you know, you really should not lie. I barely use that thing, so if anyone or thing makes it messy it is you.” He joked before turning around and heading back into the main living area of the suite.
With Malchiah now working as his Personal Assistant it had helped things around the Court a lot. He was now versed in the running of the Court and only had to ask Anoushka to usual protocol on the very rare occasion.
However, with Malchiah around he had also noticed a slight change in the owl, and what he could only presume as an interest in the sparrow for the owl. Whenever the lads name was mentioned to Pascha it seemed that he both tried to skip around the subject as well as having his interest piqued.
His back to the owl so the owl would not notice his grin he said in a tone of nonchalance, “You did a very good job training Malchiah in his job.”

Pascha gave him a look of pure disbelief, and muttered something about ghost queens messing up his desk before he stood up and moved to one of the other chairs in the room that was slightly more comfortable. As soon as Malchiah was mentioned, however, his gaze turned heavily suspicious and he narrowed his eyes to watch the mouse. "Did I now?"
The owl easily read the undertones there.. well, not really--he knew there were undertones, but wasn't sure what they were, and that made him want to glare at Aderlass. Glaring, however, would only get him a) laughed at or b)poked some more, neither of which he wanted. "Do tell," He commented further, though didn't bother to keep the sarcasm out of his voice. If Aderlass wanted to grill him on Malc, Aderlass would grill him on Malc, Pascha's wishes be damned.

Eyeing the bird where he had gone to take a seat in one of the chairs in the living room, he debated on how to proceed in his teasing of the owl. He was not cruel enough to outright tease the bird over his recent obsession but he did enjoy watching the owl deny and blush over the subject.
“He has been making all of our work a little easier. You taught him well in wot he needs to do as well as where things are. It is really annoying when a new employee causes more back up then help, though it is not expected.” He had been really impressed over how Malc had taken charge of his new duties and settled in so well.
“Wot do you think of him? You seem to be spending more time around the office, more then usual at any rate.” he added.

Pascha was severely tempted to respond with something beyond sarcastic like 'Yay me!' but sensed that would be pushing it a bit--Aderlass tolerated and even enjoyed his sarcasm to an extent, but the conversation had too serious of a tone to it at the moment for the owl to try it.
Instead he continued regarding the mouse suspiciously, one eyebrow raised, and said, "Thank you?" In a somewhat doubtful, somewhat dry tone. "I've never trained anyone before, so I suppose that's not a bad thing."
What did he think of him? What kind of question was that? It was one that incited blatant lies, that's what! Pascha kept the sardonic expression on his face while he contemplated exactly what to say--it had to be something that was obvious enough that Ader would catch it were he paying attention.. but believeable if he weren't. "He has ugly feathers."
Malc actually had gorgeous feathers, but he wasn't about to admit that.

“Well for a first time at training someone, you did a marvelous job.” He gave a nod sincere in his words.
Walking over towards the sitting area he took a seat on one of the empty chairs. Sitting back he crossed his legs at the ankles. He gave his shoulders a shrug to help release tension that was in his back. The scars that marred his back pulled whenever he made movement, though it was now a feeling he was used to. He had been given a cream to rub on it to keep the skin soft to help prevent pulling and periodically he needed head and a massage to help loosen the muscles that had been affected by the previous Queen’s attack.
Giving a thoughtful hum he titled his head at the owl. “Ugly feathers, huh? I think I have to disagree with you there. I think they are quite pretty.”
