Iphis had barely enough time to raise a delicate paw in greeting before Hadyn was leaping off in the direction of Eir, which was sad but not so great a loss. Iphis had gotten Hadyn to play house with him once or twice in the past, and he was a terrible daddy. He wouldn't give the dolls their milk, and he always just stared blankly when Iphis asked if his dress looked pretty. Even after he'd modeled the bright pink one, too, and pink was his best color. He wished more days than not that he was pink like his mommy, so he could be pretty too (even though his mommy had crazier hair than Helena and sometimes threatened to strangle them with it, because his mommy had an odd sense of humor but Iphis loved her anyway).
But instead he had been born largely white even though he was from the Gardens. Maybe one day he could ask Auntie Minh to experiment on him to make him turn prettier colors.
He grinned cheerily at Elyse. "That's pretty!" he said, of the marble. Elyse could make the most wonderful things with her material. "My dolly has a new dress now. Isn't it lovely? Can you make it into a heart pendant for her? I'll love you forever and always if you do."
__
From Mnem's side, Eir watched Hadyn approach. Finally, someone he could deal with. His siblings really were insufferable. Helena was a freak and was easy to torment, but Iphis creeped him out in a way he couldn't precisely identify--he couldn't shake the feeling that a little boy shouldn't be so very...effeminate. That was the word Mother used to describe him, anyway. Among other things.
He had plans, and Hadyn would help him. Hadyn would help him find a place to hide and protect him from interruptions while he spread mayhem. Eir wondered if Hadyn had anyone in mind in particular whom he wanted Eir to force into service. Perhaps they could attack Helena. Hadyn would probably be on board with that, considering how often the girl threw herself at him.
Eir smirked. "Hadyn, hello! I've been waiting for you!" He turned to Mnem. "Mother, Hadyn and I are going to play."
Mother gave him that look. "No mind control."
"Of course, Mother."
"Small intestine, darling," she reminded him with a small snarl.
"I know, Mother." She was an awful buzzkill for someone who poisoned people. He knew what some of her plants could do. Unfortunately, she knew that he knew, which sucked all of the fun out of it. It was one of Eir's goals in life to outsmart his mother in some major way; he just hadn't figured out anything that would work. "Bye!"
___
Helena spotted Se first, as he bickered with Ira. She liked Se best. He was freakish, like her, with his wings and his odd eyes; Helena had her tail and her hair. Though Se was a higher rank and suit. Like her other siblings. All of them were better than her. All she could do was try to get them to love her anyway.
"Se!" she cried happily, rushing toward him. She was going to give him the biggest hug. People liked hugs (except Mommy; Mommy always grimaced and pushed her away like she was diseased, but that was just Mommy's funny way of expressing affection). Hugs would make people like her. "Se, I've missed you! Hi, Se!"

Hadyn seemed oblivious to Ira’s shout, amazingly enough, but the equine soon figured out why when Eir came into view. The two appeared to be heading off on their own and Ira’s ears flicked back mischievously before noting that Helena was blatantly on a collision course with them. Pale purple eyes darted over his shoulder to check on Mom’s progress, but the stallion appeared to be distracted by his conversation with V. Haha! “Stick with Helena, Se!” the eldest ordered and trotted quickly across the park to catch up with his other siblings.
“Hi, Dad!” he greeted Mnem cheerfully as he skipped on by. “I’m going to play with Eir and Hadyn! At least you won’t have to worry about anyone dying!” He flicked his tail cheerily as he muttered under his breath, “Probably, at least.”
Se growled as Ira darted off, but he was distracted by the green canine jumping him with a hug. “Get off of me!” He snarled at his sister, trying to shake her off. “Why don’t you go play with Elyse or something?” He just bet Eir had been picking on her again; she was always more clingy after the other colt did mean things.

Rai’s ears flicked up at the beautiful bird who stepped into the park with an odd looking child in tow. Not that most of his children had much on the… weasel bird? Rai couldn’t really tell, but the boy was certainly cute. The stallion also spotted Mnem on a bench in the park proper and Minh and Aderlass had retreated to the grass. The stallion took a moment to push V towards the other lad and gave the familiar looking bird a smile. ”It’s a lovely day to air the children,” he said in way of a neutral greeting for the woman to hopefully respond to.
The pale tealish puppy slunk closer to the strange purple child, ears still back. “Hullo,” he said softly, cringing slightly whenever anyone looked at him. He still appeared as though someone had been kicking him and seemed to think everyone had a right to.

“’Ello Dear,” he greeted in reply taking a seat next to her.
“How has Hadyn been?” he asked, interested in how his only son had been while he had been away on business. Without waiting any reply, he started to rub her shoulders, hoping to help her relax. He was really enjoying this new power of his to control their temperature of his hands, especially now that he could touch other people. “I was also wondering if I should . . . maybe get him a Bander?”
--
“The new dress is cute!” she replied, taking the doll into her hands gently, she cuddled it.
Reaching into her small pouch she drew out a small piece of Rosa marble. Clutching it in her hands, she closed her eyes, focusing on it. A few moments later she slowly opened them to reveal a small, pink heart.
“Here you go!” She looked really please with what she had created. She was still new at it, having only created a few items with her father’s guidance.

Maji smiled when she was addressed by the stallion, he seemed familiar as if she had seen him somewhere before but she just could not place a claw on it now. "It is a nice day, I agree"[/b] She replied in kind as she noticed the other parents, or whom she assumed were the parents of the children she could still see in the area.
Aeron on the other hand just continued to hide behind his mother and when the canine male approached him, he shied away slightly. He was always a little shy when meeting people for the first time. A very unboyish quality but Maji paid it no mind...most of the time. This time how ever instead of just letting the child hide, as he would have liked she took one-step to the side and quickly walked over towards the stallion in order to have a better conversation with him and to leave her son exposed.
Aeron panicked slightly when he saw what his mother had done. Unfortunately the other boy was too close and his mother too far away to leave him many other options than to greet the other child. "H..Hello..."[/b] he said hesitantly, but as he looked the other boy over slowly with his blue eyes, he decided that he was not all that bad and slowly warmed up a little. "I'm Aeron, what is your name?"[/b] he asked with a small smile.

(OOC: With four characters going here, I think I'm going to break it into two posts, too. XD)
Helena cuddled Se enthusiastically, nuzzling and clinging tighter despite his attempts to throw her off. She was a bit saddened that Ira wasn't going to be sticking around. She wanted both her brothers to pay attention to her. But they could catch up to him later. And when they did, Helena would get to pounce him, and Hadyn and Eir too. She loved her higher-ranked little brother despite the fact that he liked to test his abilities on her. He was just trying to get stronger, after all. She figured she should be grateful he chose her to practice on.
"Don't be silly!" she told him, giggling. "I like Elyse, but she isn't you. The more you try to throw me off, the harder I'm going to hold on. You know that. Hugs!" she said cheerily, and squeezed him more tightly. Mischievously, she added, "We should see what Ira and Hadyn and Eir are going to get up to. I bet it's ba-a-aaaaaaad."
__
Iphis turned the small marble heart over in his paw, looking at it admiringly from all angles. It truly was a beautiful little piece of work. He was sad he didn't have a little chain or piece of string or something, so he could put it around Isabelle's neck immediately.
"It's lovely!" he told her excitedly. "It will go perfectly with her dress. I wish I could make pretty things like you." Something caught his eye, then. New people! A woman, who was talking to Iphis's daddy, and a little boy, who was being approached by Vishne. He loved meeting new people. Everyone was so nice, as far as he was concerned. "Elyse! Lookit over there. We should go say hello to them."

Mnem had caught the tail end of her son's words as he flew by. He was off to play with Eir and Hadyn, then? That was sure to end poorly for everyone. Those three had a terrible habit of instigating each other into ever more terrifying heights of stupidity. The way of little boys, she thought, to try to outdo each other constantly. She wished she had just had more daughters.
Not ones like Helena, of course. She was a big enough vortex of pathetic neediness unto herself. She needed smart daughters who took care of themselves. And didn't encourage one another to set Monty on fire just because one of them had singed the tail of another bander. (She wondered, then, for a moment, how well Eir's scars were healing; Monty had not taken kindly to attempted immoliation.) But she had only had two girls out of a veritible litter of little monsters (well, three, if she counted Iphis, but she didn't count Iphis for much of anything really.)
She considered getting off the bench and heading over to Shinrai and the new woman he was talking to, but Helena looked to be heading in that direction, so that was right out. She would have said hello to Aderlass and Minh, as well, but they seemed to be sharing a private moment. So she just reclined and relaxed, and enjoyed one of her very few child-free moments.
____
Ira was galloping swiftly toward them, and Eir smirked. Another one to assist them. He was already forming ideas. With one, he would get control over Helena's poor scattered little brain and have her run shrieking through the park (especially around Mother; Mother was looking far too relaxed at the moment), tearing at her hair and lurching wildly. Eventually she would find her way into the pond. Then, Eir thought, she would probably cry, because that's what Helena did.
His other idea involved getting a hold on Vishne's brain and using him to terrify the new, timid-looking little pine marten who had recently entered the park with his mother. Two perfectly lovely options. He would need to discuss them with his companions.
"Ira!" he called. "Hurry! We have much to do."

((ooc: Got to love Darrien, he just couldnt keep away XD)) It had been a long week. The construction was finished at the job sight, thank god. Also thank god no one had skipped out or been fired in the last phases of construction. All that was left now was paper work…lots and lots of paper work. He was almost finished with this job and suddenly about a day or so ago word had come from Father that his stay in the capital was being extended and that he was to stay until about two weeks before his wedding. His wedding…the thoughts made him want to shiver. He looked up and ran a furred hand through his spiky hair as he found himself near a park. As he looked around a familiar coloration caught his eye how ever and caused him to stop and stare. Pink and purple with splashes of yellow and that hair, oh god how he loved that hair of hers. How it would caress him and entangle itself in his own. It had been a while since he last saw her, work being the culprit of course, and everything in his body screamed for him to go see her. As he approached the entrance of the park he noticed “Whip” and Minh, plus and additional pair that he did not know. The Eagle was beautiful and as was her son, he assumed, Minh and an unfamiliar mouse were also together lounging on the grass. He ignored the other adults and headed straight for Mnem, she was his only goal. “Love, I’m sorry I have not been around lately. Work has had me all tied up, I have missed you…Have the children been behaving?”[/b] He sat down on the bench beside her and reached for her hand to bring it up to his lips to kiss it softly. God how he missed his sweet Mnem.

Rai grinned as the woman shunted her son out from behind her as well and the two shy kids were forced to interact. Poor boys; they’d thank their parents someday. ’”I must say,” the stallion said lightly, shunting his thoughts away from the kids for now; Vishne and the other lad seemed to be doing fine. ”You look very familiar…?” He raised the end of his words, making the statement a question in hopes that she might be able to fill in why he recognized her.
“Hullo, Aeron,” Vishne replied, almost sullenly. It seemed, however, that Aeron was about as meek as the bright-coloured canine. “I’m Vishne.” The pup hesitated for a long moment before offering, “My siblings call me V.” He looked around before tilting his head and asking Aeron curiously and innocently, “Where are your siblings?” The little canine didn’t know anyone who didn’t have brothers and or sisters.

“Stay away from Eir, Helena,” Se lectured her flatly, unable to stop another shaking attempt to throw her loose. Stupid girls. Stupid Helena. “He’s a stupid bully; you know that.” With a much put-upon sigh, Se went still so she could get all of her stupid hugs out of her stupid system. “Get done and get off,” he said flatly, yellow ears just as flat as his tone.
Ira gave a low snort as Eir called to him, laughing back, “I’m coming, I’m coming! I can’t fly you know.” That caused him another moment of amusement. Silly PerSEus. The hybrid was such a wuss. Hooves skimmed across the grass, skidding to a halt alongside the other two males. “Heyla, Hadyn,” the colt said brightly at his other weird-looking brother.
He tended to go along with Eir’s plans because the younger colt tended to have the better ideas. Perhaps Ira was just a bit too easy-going to be truly evil. Or, more likely, he had better use for his brainpower: like one-upping Mom and getting Dad’s approval. He smirked and turned mischievous eyes towards the other colt. “Wot’s the plan today?”
