The small mouse watched her falling sibling with a small amount of surprise and amusement. She had noticed that V was missing his twin a lot since she had been sent to a camp. Even the house had gotten a little more quite with no one bossing people around – even if it was not by much.
“We missed you Venka. How was the camp?” she asked. Her and all the other siblings had just woken up one morning to find Venka gone and Mommy Mnem only told them she had gone to a camp.
“Mommy sent me on a quest! First she sold me to this chicken and then told me not to come back, which you of course know means she only loves you. But do not worry, V, I made it back.” She explained as she squished her brother to the ground.
She really had missed her twin while she was gone. It had been an adventure and she had met interesting people, like that bat, but nothing was better than being around her psychotic family.

The warehouse was actually much better stocked than Hadyn had initially expected, and as he took in the stacks of pipe and powder a new plan started to take form. His original plan had lacked finesse, but with these supplies at his finger tips he would be able to create something of elegance and destruction.
"Alright. Pipe bombs it is. We assemble them here; an assembly line is probably best. We need to cut the pipe to this exact length--"he demonstrated,"--and cap one end with these seals, here. Then we'll mix up the explosive. We have to be precise about this; no mistakes."
They'd have to cut wicks, too, and Hadyn ran over the math in his head. It would be best if they could set up units, each with so many pipe bombs, and time it so that the unit would go off simultaneously.

As long as they didn't have to haul stuff off just yet, Ira was happy. As Hadyn showed them how to do make the pipe bombs, they soon fell into a quick pattern of assembly. In virtually no time at all, they had quite the pile of explosives prepared and Eir was eyeing them pleasantly.
"This should be enough to take out the whole (#$* thing and everyone in it." Satisfaction lit his voice and his dark ears went back as he imagined the damage to come.
"Well, let's do it then," Ira retorted lightly. As long as they didn't have to do too much more work; he wanted to people watch some more and people running and screaming in panic was just as good as them just wandering the streets. A bit better, actually, because then he could feel his predatory instincts tightening and encouraging him to hunt.

Hadyn shook his head in consternation. Ira and Eir didn't care about the beauty of the bombs they were holding--the delicate mix of chemicals, reacting and evolving until, with a tiny spark, the entire lot would go up in a glorious plum of fire--they were only interested in the whole "mass death and destruction" part. Not that Hadyn really felt he was in a position to point this out, of course--he might not get off on that part of it, but that didn't mean he felt in any way remorseful about what was about to happen.
"Alright, let's go."
They split up when they reached the park--Ira and Eir with careful instructions about placement--and proceeded to fill every single gopher hole they could find. They agreed to meet in the dead center of the park once they were done.
"So...think we should warn the parental units?" Hadyn's paws itched to lite the main fuse.

Eir gave an impatient nod at Hadyn's instructions; he was impatient to get on with it, yes. They'd been playing nice all day and it was more than time for someone to die.
Ira, however, listened closely to the directions and proceeded to follow them as closely to the letter as he could. He was not the bomb specialist. He was the last of the three to meet at the center of the park and his tail flicked from side to side curiously. "I think," he said seriously. "If we start running like our tails are on fire and screaming our heads off, the parents will get the idea."
For once, Eir agreed with his eldest brother. Ira grinned brightly at the other two males; evidently they had just discovered a new favourite past time for him. As though in unison the three took off, instinctively spreading to cover the most ground.
Perhaps it was difficult ofr others to understand at first wot all of the yelling was about, but Ira soon took care of that by screaming loudly, "BOMB!!!" He gleefully cantered along watching the people run terrified from the park. Oh, he did love these family outings. <3

Hadyn didn't worry overly much about his family getting out alive--he had more than enough trust in their survival instincts to know they got out long before the fuss ran out. Diving behind a very sturdy looking mail box--the kind that they cemented down to deter vandals--just in time to see the ground of the park heave. It started in the middle and moved outwards, quickly, a rolling wave of earth. And then it really exploded. It was beautiful, really--a plume of flame and smoke and flying debris. It was loud, deafening. And then silent. Before the screams started, anyway--wails of pain and confusion that swirled out of the smoke that was quickly blanketing the area.
He basked in the heat of it, watching the ground crackle and blacken with a deep sense of accomplishment.
A heavy tentacle landed on his shoulder, and he grinned up at his mother, not at all contrite. She whacked him over the back of the head, more on principle than anything else. There was almost something...proud...about the way she looked at him.
"Come on you little hooligan. Let's get out of here before the cops show up."
He nodded, content with the world. They'd really have to try this again sometime.
