Bazaar Annoyances.

[Thalron]

Machaon was feeling good about his chances as he was awarded that brief moment of confusion, It soon ended though as there was that sudden tug... He spun to the side when the tube on his arm was grabbed, sliding sideways along the floor till he smacked into the Queen's legs.

That was a lot of blood, he noted calmly as his eyes glanced back... The slight gurgling noise in his arm soon alerted him to the fact that it was 'his' blood... And then the calm and happy feeling quickly vanished as he scrambled to get to his feet and re-set the half of the tube that had been so roughly torn from its socket as the blood gurgled out of it. Why he had these things no one really knew except for him, but why everyone always grabbed that /same/ looser one he couldn't fathom. It'd never fully heal at this rate! And just when he was getting used to having all his blood inside his body.

"Ow ow ow!- @#$%@! What the hell is wrong with you peop-" He knew that voice. Oh he was going to rip that damn stallions head off once all this bleeding stopped if this was his idea of a joke. Maybe he'd do it anyways... Wait... Mommy? The pine marten's head turned to look at the queen with something akin to horror.

Ira did not spit out the blood, instead calmly cleaning himself of the pine marten's 'mess'. He didn't seem in the least bit concerned about his Mommy dearest's tantrum and was quite absorbed in becoming clean again.

Rai briefly squeezed the bridge of his nose as though that could stop the oncoming headache that so often attacked whenever he had to deal with his eldest in unusual circumstances.

"Daddy, daddy!" Levi called out excitedly. "That's the one we found!"

"Mommeth!" Sid had to put in. "He'th bleeding on your dethk!!!"

Rai deliberately turned his attention to the pine marten and his eyes widened suddenly in surprise. "Machaon!" He couldn't have forgotten the doctor who likely saved his life and he was pleased to see the man, just. . . not pleased to see him bleeding all over the place. "How can we assist you?" At this point, Rai was not entirely certain that Ira hadn't just taken a chunk out of the Corvie.

It should probably be noted that around now that feeling of happiness had rather quickly subsided.. Probably a side effect of losing a great deal of blood in a short period of time, it wasn't enough to be life threatening.. yet.. but definitely knocked some sense into, and out of him. His expression slid from horror to what looked like a great deal of anger coupled with frustration... Aimed at everyone in the near vicinity.

"You have me kidnapped, dragged through the streets like a criminal, then assaulted without so much of a word why any of this is happening... And /now/ you're asking what I need?!" He did not sound.. pleased.. in the least at his current situation, and Rai was a very lucky that the weasel was lacking any form of pointy objects right now.

He huffed for a moment longer before managing to regain some semblance of composure as he scurried over to his bag... He didn't really have that many useful things in it since he was just going to get some medicine, empty bottles didn't offer much in his current predicament unless he wanted to pour some for that blood drinking freak over there... "Fine." he snorted. "I need a tourniquet, and some bandages." ugh... he hated seeing so much of his own blood, other peoples he could care less about, he dealt with it all the time after all... and now that he thought about it, he did work with his own a fair amount, but it still bothered him.

There were many times throughout the life of his eldest son that Rai wished to inflict unpleasant things upon the younger stallion. The 'nickname' of 'Mommy' had long been a point of irritation, and when Ira hadn't just told him that Sekhmet was in labour it had nearly come to something physical. And yet. Those times paled in comparison to the near need Shinrai had to throttle his eldest.

Oblivious to his Mommy dearest's murderous thoughts, Ira continued to lick himself clean, like a cat with a bowl of cream. Rai had to cleanch his good hand and take a few cleansing breaths as his younger kids hustled over to watch in awe as Machaon began digging in his bag. Blood didn't seem to make them squeamish either.

"This may be hard to believe," the Queen said quietly, heading towards his desk where he kept a first aid kit on hand. "But I did not send Ira after you. I was unaware you were back in the Capital." If he had known, he would have sent a freakin' letter. the stallion carried the whole kit back over to Machaon and flipped it open. He could do basic first aid himself, but waited in reverence to the doctor's expertise.

The very preoccupied doctor did indeed find this very hard to believe at the moment, and didn't really take any time to respond the more sane stallions words. Perhaps when he got into a more... agreeable... mood he'd be more apt for listening, but right now he had the more urgent matter of stopping this bleeding, and getting away from these psycho people. More or less in that order.

As soon as the kit was presented it was snatched away, he had found very little of use in his bag as expected, save for one of the scalpels he always carried around... The kit had plenty of bandages though, and he soon had the tube refitted into his arm as best he could manage for the moment. Tying and wrapping the base tightly in bandages, which seemed to stop or atleast severely slow the bleeding.

There were air bubbles in the top of the tube... He shuddered, but then stabbed a tiny hole in the top most part of it to remove the air... He eyed Levi briefly then snapped his fingers infront of his face and rather smoothly swiped his scalpel across one of the molten-glass edged horns before bringing it back up and sealing off the little hole in the tube... What'd you know, those gremlins were useful sometimes.

"Thank you." he said curtly to the young one then tightened one of the bandages as he brought his attention back to Rai... There were a great deal of things he had the urge to say, but some part of him thought that perhaps it was best not to say those to the queen. "As much as...ow... I enjoy bleeding in your office, I'd really... Like to leave." He said most of this while splitting his attention between the two stallions... and slowly edging away from the one currently licking up blood.

Rai's desire to pop Ira directly in the nose rose immediately as he finally understood the full extent of the damage his son had done to the pine marten, purposeful or not.

Levi, at least, was in awe, eyes wide and mouth dropping at Machaon's smooth motions that used his own melting horns to be useful.

"I wanna help!" Sid exclaimed excitedly, but it was quickly obvious that the doctor was finished with his need for outside help. The deer mix was rather crestfallen, but there was little he could do of help anyway.

Ira perked up at the Corvie's words, glancing over to watch the motions curiously as his father still attempted damage control.

"Of course you can go," Rai said quietly. "Though if you'd care to reconsider, the invitation to you will always be open from the Court of Hearts." He very purposefully did not look towards Ira, which was just as well because the teal stallion was quite pleased with himself for having gotten the pine marten there to begin with.

[Thalron]

Ugh, things were just so... out of control. He hated that, and it didn't help in the least that he was beginning to feel a bit light headed from the sudden drop in blood pressure. His uninjured arm moved and rubbed his forehead, a move he instantly regretted as a smeared paw-print of blood was left in the fur there... He looked at both of his hands, then himself, then the room... All of which had blood splattered over a good portion of their surfaces. It reminded him of when that patient had-. he shook his head again to clear it.

Soon it became clear to him that he couldn't go wandering around the city like this, it was never good to walk out of the court looking like you murdered someone during your visit. "_{I usually burn my invitations.}" he muttered, then paused again as he eyed his sorroundings... When he started this day, there was no way he could have imagined it turning out like this, especially as he was trying to figure out a way to ask the queen where the washroom was without shredding the last vestiges of his dignity. "I... should probably wash off some of this blood..." he managed in a somewhat quiet, but clear voice.

Remembering the offer to help, he offered Lispy the opportunity to carry his bag again, atleast around this place.

If Ira had not just brought in a man and caused him to bleed all over the place, Rai would have asked his eldest to direct the man; gads, Rai might have trusted the younger stallion, but at this point, the Queen was terribly concerned about Machaon's further interest in anything to do with the Court.

Ira turned as though he heard his mommy's thoughts and stared inscrutably at the older man. Rai's eyes narrowed, but he couldn't very well ream his son just yet.

He needn't have worried about a new guide, however, because Levi and Sid had leapt up immediately when the doctor had said he needed to wash up. The deer hybrid nearly burst with pleasure when the pine marten asked him to carry his bag and Rai eyed the boys sternly. "No wandering about. Take him over to the guest suite. Do as he tells you."

He really didn't have to worry; the pair seemed well on their way to hero worshipping the Corvie as well and they excitedly led him out of the study as Levi began to chatter abut how nice the guest suite was.

Had the rather ornery doctor seen the queen chew out his son it might've helped his mood... But other than that probably was not so good to do in front of company. Regardless, he rather hurredly scurried out of the room, following Levi (despite his best judgement) to wherever this guest suite was. Giving the queen a appreciative nod as he slid out the door.

He tilted his head at the eagerness of the deer-mix, but shrugged it off as mere youthful exuberance as he turned his attention back to Levi as he began to ramble off about the quality of said quarters. He was beginning to feel a little better now that there was no large cannibals in the area... He could deal with a small lispy one, but Ira was just too freaky.

"So do you two know all the secret doors and passages in this place yet?" he asked with a small sigh as he followed them, he was going to get out of this place at the earliest opportunity... And was somewhat curious about secret exits, jumping out the window as he had contemplated not so long ago did not seem like the most pleasant way of getting out.
